Honestly though you get what you pay for. I like my logitech but I buy them knowing full well that they're cheap crap. I don't have the environment to justify high quality speakers, background noise, crap acoustics, mediocre soundcard and more background noise. They're the best of the cheap crap though and there is definitely worse.

Actually answering OP I can't even remember the brand just how they looked and that they were fucking cheap. £30 for a 5.1 system? Yeah I got what I paid for but I was broke. I'm not now but I'd rather spend the money on stuff I'd actually notice so I get something one step up.

With headphones the answer is the ones that come with the device. They're always terrible.

I remember buying one of those cheap home theatre in a box dvd player gimmicks with the 5 small little satellite speakers and a shitty subwoofer. Terrible, even the subwoofer sounded tinny. Figure that one out.
