dude what you posted is like the pillar of ecstasy music. og madchester beats any of this newschool edm in my opinion.

My group of friends always blasts some Primal Scream, Psychic TV, Happy Mondays and oldschool acid house etc when we roll. Psychic TVs Tekno Acid Beat is my top choice.

I know I know man, this was kinda a dumb post looking back, it's just fear of rejection I guess. Actually on the come down and it went really well as one would expect. Played some Madchester and early synthpop and got a lot of "this is dope who is this?" even though everyone else was playing some radically different music (lot of hip-hop which I liked cause it's my weakest genre in terms of music knowledge. Someone played RTJ 3 and I wondered why I never checked it out. 808 State and OMD were my biggest crowd pleasers by far.

Really actually helped me get passed a lot of my "different=wrong" conditioning and realize people are in general really open minded.

Apparently one of my favorite songs, Genetic Engineering by OMD, was in a really popular YouTube video I had never seen and everyone else knew it from that, which was cool.
