Hi, I'm uncut. Not sure if this is an STD or a bacterial/virus/fungal infection.
I have a light rash on my penis around the bottom of the head, and on the foreskin directly in contact with that area, it doesn't weep, and seems drier than usual. Itchyness is an issue.
I've currently got to go in for a piss test for syphillis but probably not that?

If it's fungal infection you should put Vicks Vaporub on it.

I think it's fungal man, can it itch and does it flake? if you leave it too long it can cause scaring and spread. Go to the pharm and ask for some anti-fung cream and ask if it can be used on "our area" if you are speaking to a bloke or whatever.

Hi,

It would be helpful if you posted some dick pics. Totally acceptable on this board.
Is it inflammed?
How often / do you masturbate?
A fungal infection/tinea would be as circular as the area allows, with an obvious contrast in colour around the ring versus the center but this is only a guideline.
I think corticosteroid (topical steroid/cream for rashes) is OK for reducing any inflammation, but you'll need anti-fungal cream as soon as possible.

I would cool it with a cold flannel if there's redness/sore and inflamed, but keep it dry when not tending to it in case it is tinea; fungal infections like moisture.
