Is my normal GP likely to flip out on me for drug-seeking if I ask him about tramadol by name? I have chronic pain from lupus and disc issues and I've been trying or have tried TENS, bracing, NSAIDs, epsom salts, NSRIs, CBD oil, physical therapy, swimming...currently I'm only handling this with kratom, which he said he was in support of and prescribed me constipation meds to help with, but it's making me crazy nauseated and sleepy in these amounts and the pain is still breaking through. It's at the point where I'm not able to go grocery shopping, shower regularly, or socialize. I tried tramadol once and it helped a LOT but Idk if asking directly is going to look really bad.

Correction: kratom, NSAIDs, as much stretching as I can, and TENS. but kratom is definitely doing most of the work

Id ask your gp, if they think a muscle relaxer like tramadol would help. Easy as that.

It's an opioid which is why I was so nervous. This political climate is not a good one in which to need narcotics. I brought my partner and gave him the deal and he prescribed it though.

Hurrah some relief
