So I had a small umbilical hernia repaired via suture last week and I'm paranoid about buying it open again. I'd feel/see it if that happened, right? Pic unrelated, my cat

I have no experience with this whatsoever but I'm gonna agree that you'd probably feel the resumption of the unique hernia pain you had pre-surgery. It's gonna feel awfully like something isn't right. You'll know.
