I like Christy Mack but this is just beyond fucked up. War Machine has had a history of violence and I'm glad Bellator released his ass. It's not the first time this has happened between them however:

There's plenty of porn stars that can have normal loving relationships inside and outside the industry. Just look at Damon and Veruca James.

I think the problem with this has been the whole perception by the media especially Fox News that "she's a pornstar and should have known how to handle herself". Why does that matter? Christy Mack is still a person at the end of the day regardless of however she decides to make a living and it's reprehensible what happened to her. The cycle of domestic violence involving athletes from Floyd Mayweather to Ray Rice won't stop and blaming the victim for her transgressions or what she does for a living to justify her deserving what she got only serves to perpetuate this cycle of violence.

You can get real hard time for assaults like this. Probably. I imagine testing is extremely lax or completely absent for smaller promotions just looking for names to bring in to boost ticket sales. Some things I took from it:

He thinks he's some kind of genius by quoting Nietzsche.

He's really full of himself. "I wish you weren't hurt" is his way of not admitting to what he did. He's refuting responsibility and pegging the blame on anything else.

He "forgives" Christy Mack, when he's the one that attempted to murder her, a far worse crime than infidelity.

He talks about "catching a case", it seems to me like he may very well have temper issues and I can easily see this being exacerbated by probable steroid abuse.

"I'm a good person with a huge heart." Machines aren't people and don't have hearts. His actions only proved this.

A lot of "I don't want to see the woman I love taking the stand and telling lies." Yeah, you totally didn't intend to murder her. Stabbing and beating someone almost never results in death.

In summation, War Machine is a Class D Douchebag. He's likely to spend the rest of his life in prison beating up men instead of women. Society is better off without him.

He's almost sort of famous, he's a former professional fighter, he's got a swollen ego, and he's a gigantic crybaby that sheds tears over the smallest shit. He tried to kill himself in PC and failed lol. His suicide note which the prison idiots leaked was unbelievable nonsense about how none of this is his fault. This guy could beat up anybody in the joint but he hides out in protective with the skinners and rats.

Apparently his suicide is just a delaying tactic. His lawyers already ran out of delays for his case by being given a one month period to review the 31 charges, that was back in beginning of Oct so he pulled this stunt to further delay the trial.

In these kinds of cases the longer the wait the better, as her injuries will heal so she will look fine on the stand, and memory fades so they can trip her up during cross on pedantic details to make her look like a liar. There was no self incriminating confession in the suicide note of course because he didn't plan to die.

No, it's all written on his blog. He was in genpop the first time around and wrote about a bunch of fights he WITNESSED (snitched on) and decided to check in himself. He even wrote how the guards made fun of him for hiding out in PC.

He is totally screwing up his case by talking about it. Every time he chimes in with a different story about the events it will all be used against him easily. He also totally fucked himself during a preliminary hearing, he laughed in court while Mack was testifying. The prosecution asked to put that into the permanent record and like a complete idiot he lied in court and said "I wasn't laughing". The judge then said "I saw you laughing" and had it put in. Now his defense is literally destroyed, he is on record lying in court and caught by a judge. He cannot testify now as none of it will be reliable due to being permanently on record as a liar. All his prior statements will be picked apart by the prosecution to further paint him as a liar. This case is now a slam dunk conviction because he can't control himself and shut his mouth.
