F is for Family is probably my favorite animated show since the Moral Orel.

Speaking of stop motion puppets the Shivering Truth is pretty good, it's a different kind of funny, it's basically Xavier Renegade Angel meets the Twilight Zone.

Isnt it the same writers for Xavier? It's some impressive animation but maybe I'm never high enough when I watch it.

I think. I know it's some of the same writers from Morel Orel and the voice of Xavier.

>besides Kim, there's no real suspense to any character arcs
I wouldn't say that, a character arc can still have suspense if you know where they end up. My problem with BCS is that everything with Mike/Gus/the Cartel is so static and cheesy. They'd have been better off just telling us the story of Jimmy, Kim and Chuck without worrying so much about linking it up to Breaking Bad.

I like the Nacho story line, I feel like he has a pretty good story arc. I went from thinking he was the biggest sleaze to feeling real sorry for him and empathizing with the character.

I think you hit the nail on the head with it not having the same tension as BB, but that's what makes it better. There are respites from it and little slice of life scenes that feel like the characters are going to be alright, even though it's a prequel and I know it's not going to turn out fine but still end up rooting for them anyway.

Yeah I think the marketing and the film's title didn't do it any favors because it was a really good film having just watched it this week. The action was fun and Margot Robbie does a good job embodying Harley Quinn's persona. Much better than Suicide Squad, which I watched after Birds of Prey. Hopefully James Gunn can salvage it in the next film.

So seeing as how a lot of us may have to self-isolate in the near future, what are some good shows or movies to binge? Older stuff, hidden gems, or even recent stuff we may have missed. I've got two recommendations from opposite sides of the spectrum. We're about to have a lot of time on our hands so feel free to recommend any show or movie series. I know this seems like a BWW thread but this more focused on recommendations over discussion and spoiler talk.

First up is Kim's Convenience. It's a comfy and lighthearted show about a Korean-Canadian family running a corner store in Toronto. 3 seasons available on Netflix with the 4th currently airing in Canada.

Secondly is Ozark. It's a fairly tense crime-drama about a money launderer a Mexican cartel fucking up and relocating to the Ozarks and dragging his family into a life of crime. 2 seasons available with the 3rd premiering at the end of the month.
