Saw it yesterday, it got better. A lot character development which was good too see. Jokes were decent. I recommend it.

Why not just make a Futurama style show set in sword and sorcery environment?
That would have been good. Like a Dungeons and Dragons adventure show.

Why focus on the inner plight of a teenage girl? How many Groening fans are gonna relate to that?

I respect the fact he tried something different and think a high fantasy rehash of Futurama wouldn't have been a good choice.

Anyone born in the last 35 years has grown up with his animation. The Simpsons has been on longer than the target demographic for this show (18-24yo) has been alive. I don't think his fan base is just Comicbook Guys.

I'm not a teenager or a girl but I didn't know that was a prerequisite to watch a show about one. I have a lot of anime to unwatch.

Quentin Tarantino's 9th film is finally out. Not surprised by the acclaim so far but I'm interested to see the film's take on the end of Hollywood's Golden Age.

>zero tension or suspense
Someone's a narc and going to die for it. The cops are coming and the money is missing or being hidden. Someone is bleeding to death.

That's two mysteries and two burning fuses. There's plenty of tension in the movie.

This may be the edgiest opinion I've read in a long time. Not a die hard fan of that movie but it's a stretch saying character development etc just isn't there. I mean compared to boondock saints, which everybody loves, it's a god damn masterpiece

People canned this movie pretty hard. This girl said her friends walked out when I said I was going to see it woo woo woo yada yada. Saw it with an old film buff friend of mine without watching the previews or knowing anything about it. We both thought it was great. The best movie I'd seen in a long time. I think it's just cool to shit on these movies at this point. My friend said the film has some spooky quotes from interviews in one of the Manson documentaries out there

I rewatched Very Bad Things the other day. Underrated movie and dark as fuck. Reading the reviews now it looks like I'm the only one that thinks so. Rotten tomatoes is pretty gay.

That movie's great. The ending had my roomie and I wheeze-laughing but audiences just can't handle miserable endings.

> When someone's criticizing you for cancelling everything just because being mad is fun...
> If you decide to get mad and cancel him, you're literally just reinforcing his case.
So it's literally this picture.
Baiting people into getting angry with you is not at all hard, and giving in to such attempts proves not a single fucking thing.

anyone Else think its just a soap opera At This point? unrealistic over emotional bullshit and Tommy sounds like a overacted action movie super hero in all of his cheesy lines (at least s3-s5).

that crooked cop killing the jolly african-american child is a hole in the story, no cop is that stupid to kill her when the brother is nearby, not even a fucking crackhead would do that. fairy tale shit

Jyn Erso. Come fight me. She is quite literally just some woman who had to just survive while living with an actual extremist and not really that special as the Skywalkers or Solos, but she and her father still had a very large role to play in the overall film that had a massive effect on how events went down in the Galactic Civil War. Her father essentially making the trench run the means to destroy the super weapon and Jyn making it possible for the Rebellion to get the Death Star plans. Jyn Erso is my girl. Come and fight me.

It was creepy in the first season as it felt like it was building up to it for the second but were still doing this. This season felt like filler until we get our ultimate big bad. I get the point of this season was that not everything works out but it STILL felt like a letdown to me. This season felt a lot bigger with way less payoff. Not as strong interviews with killers as the first one did IMO.

Most viewers know more about BTK from IRL and know better than to expect him to be caught soon. The guy who the main character is based on became obsessed with BTK and he goes against all the normal profiles that the dude normally uses. IRL, in the end, BTK gets himself caught by not understanding modern technology, so the poor profiler doesnt even get the victory of cracking the case through his dumb profiles

This is about The 100

After primefya Clark and Bellamy totally lose their marbles. Who, of all people, finds their marbles? Octavia, and she gets shit all over for it. In an entire season, she is the only person who seems capable of thinking more than six hours in front of them.

She is betrayed by everyone constantly, and Still breaks through into Eden. If she had used the worms, killed Abbey, or not been poisoned, that methylodium never would have gotten the chance to drop, and Earth wouldn't have been blasted back into the 'surface begins to cool' phase.

If anyone but Miller had chosen Not to betray her, things would have turned out fine. Each of her betrayers, individually, holds responsibility for the destruction of Earth. And then they turn around and look down their noses at her, who in a very real sense saved the human race.

She did One Little Thing to get people to march, and it even had historical precedent.

This stuff is great, I like how real you are, and the cheesy elevator music fits perfectly.
Will you do one about the moon? Or something related to our solar system, or space stuff in general?
