Hey /mtv/, why aren't you watching the greatest social experiment on television? I thought you'd especially love this season, given that former WWE wrestler John Morrison is competiting and looks to be making it far in the game. So far, this has been the best season in a long time.

Similar shows, but different focuses result in very different experiences. Naked and Afraid is at it's core a survivalist show where the biggest obstacle is always the environment, contrast that to Survivor where the biggest obstacle is the other players.

The fact that I stopped watching N&A after a couple seasons, and am still watching Survivor for the past 7 seasons speaks to which I think is personally better.

I would even go as far as to say that Survivor is harder, because not only are they fighting the elements, they're fighting each other, and they're required to participate in very labor-intensive challenges every couple days.

Also Survivor has cutest girls. They're not naked, but you still get plenty of ass.

Yeah but when there are disagreements amongst the tribe of 12 in naked and afraid XL it's not some bachelor tier bitching, it's full on and in the context of life and death and starvation, so much more fulfilling. You see hunger erode a person's social tolerance to the point that people flip out and turn on each other like wolves. Sabotage ensues. It's not a competition see? Everyone loses on naked and afraid XL when they fight, but they cant help themselves. Haha Haha. It's like being married.

Survivor is just editing and recreational backstabbing. They are encouraged to fight and scheme. So boring. Not authentic. Also yeah I'm talking to a dude who's watched 37 seasons of survivor. Goddamn man, who are you? Chiggy?

>it's full on and in the context of life and death and starvation

You're a straight dumbass. No one is dying. These people are dropped in a location with water, they're legally guaranteed food and medical care. Former contestants have already spilled the beans about N&A and how phoney it is.

So, as it stands, neither N&A or Survivor are truly "survival" shows. But whereas N&A has nothing to lean back on since it's whole gimmick is survival, Survivor can at least say "the game for $1 million is real".

Don't really feel like addressing anymore of what you said you're entitled to an opinion, no matter how uninformed it may be.

Reality survivalist shows will always suck until they make something akin to Running Man or Series 7. Wasn't there a slavic game show with this premise? People running from hunters and dogs for big cash monies?? Great premise.

Omg I prefer Alone anyway but I was just saying at least fucking naked and afraid has starvation. Survivor has fucking Mike White as a goliath. Dude is not a goliath. They get rations of rice etc and have to do obstacle courses and make friends. It is bogus af. Oh yeah greatest social experiment ever. NATHAN FOR YOU is more cutting edge and real.

Well there is this show called Manhunt on Discovery. From what I saw it wasn't all that exciting and seemed pretty fake.

They oughta make it something like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQEBzauVIlA

But add dogs and people in colourful leotard costumes who wield thematic weapons.

But they don't. And this has been confirmed by multiple contestants who said production gave them food. Survivor doesn't hide the fact that they give players a minimal amount of food... There's no getting around it. So, it's funny that you chastise Survivor for not being genuine, while praising N&A just because you don't know what happens BtS.

>have to do obstacle courses

Which are physically draining and negate the caloric intake from food they're given by production.

>and make friends

Yeah, because in order to win the game, the people you played with decide who wins $1,000,000. If you were a cunt to them the entire game, they aren't voting for you to win in the end. In fact, it has become a strategy to take a cunt to the end of the game, because then you odds improve.

Idk the last time you watched it, but it's good to skip several seasons and come back. I watched Survivor in like 2004-2007, got bored of it, stopped watching for almost 10 years and then came back refreshed. The draw has always been the players, so if they keep them interesting and rotate every season instead of circle jerking several players like they did 10 years ago, I'll keep watching.
