It's the final Phase 3 film and epilogue to the Infinity Saga that's out today:

>Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.

When Marvel first released that movie poster, I thought it was a joke or something. Looks like a parody of a bad 90s movie poster.

Watched the 1Xbet cam version and it took me 4 hours because I kept pausing it after all my senses were getting bombarded with horrible video and audio. I still refuse to watch Marvel movies in theatres anymore though and will continue to watch cam versions.

I thought the first half was quite lame. The elementals were really just shitty to look at and were not very fun to me. Aunt May being a milf still bothers me a bit. The MJ and Peter romance is actually pretty cute and worked very well in my opinion. The movie picks up wonderfully after the bar scene when we find out Mysterio is behind everything and his weird cult of scientists made all these illusions. The Spider-Man illusion fight scenes were fantastic as well.I thought they did a good job and I really hope nobody mentions or talks about Iron Man again.

1XBETs cam version cuts off before the fucking post credit scenes so I have no idea what happened then.

No he has a good point. I usually wait a couple months for the ones I don't care about but I like Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and Avengers movies. I just can't justify going to the theatre and spending money on them. It's not that I think they are shit. I'm just sick of supporting Marvel and Disney because they run everything in cinema and it's scary.

For me I either just wait till I can watch it online or just go to the theater the Wednesday after the film comes out since the one I usually go to has $5 tickets.

It'll be on Disney+

When it comes to capeshit, I just wait an extra couple months for a decent rip. I'm like you, I can't be bothered to pay for Marvel/Star Wars movies anymore. Although I wouldn't suffer through a shitty camrip. Honestly dude, showing me a list of companies owned by Disney doesn't mean anything to me. There are still a handful of movies being made each year that have nothing to do with capeshit.

Anyway, back to Spider-Man- I haven't seen anyone say anything bad about it yet. I'm really not in a rush to go see it, though. I wasn't crazy about Homecoming despite Tom Holland being the best Peter Parker.

After talking shit ITT earlier, I caved in and saw FFH. While the writers are still obsessed with Tony Stark, Peter Parker learns how to be a hero without his help. Now it wasn't as good as Spider-Verse, but it was waaaaayyyy better than Homecoming. I enjoyed it all the way through. Jake Gyllenhaal killed it as Mysterio.

So, taking bets on whether or not Peter actually got EDITH back. There's a decent argument for either outcome: Tony could have set it up so Peter could take it back whenever he wants; or the lack of a "control swap," like when Peter gave it away, could mean it was just another illusion. Better be the fucking former, because I'm getting sick of Marvel wasting AAA-talent on a single movie.

Pretty good, all around. Holy shit, that "I'm just gonna stand here and talk about all of our backstories and explain how our plan worked" scene was soooo fucking awful, though.

A lot of X-Men universe films that were in development such as X-Force, Deadpool 3, Gambit, Multiple Man, Kitty Pryde, Alpha Fight, and The Exiles all got canned because of the buyout. The Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom are future potential projects for MCU but it's gonna be a long time until X-Men becomes part of the MCU. I am however looking forward to Shang-Chi, Black Panther 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 though.

The news was shocking at first, but it sucks how everyone is blaming Sony for the way things turned out. The original deal was pretty fair, considering how Marvel got all the profits from merchandise. A 50/50 deal wouldn't benefit Disney in the slightest bit, being the money sucking machine that this company is, so this is literally just Sony standing up for themselves.

Spider-Man is gonna go back to being shit without any MCU involvement, but you also gotta admit that the Sony and the Raimi trilogy is the reason people became interested in superhero movies at all.

Nope. Superhero stuff has been pretty big since like the 40's. There have been lulls in popularity, but that goes for every type of movie. Westerns, slashers, snooty dramas etc. all have periods of being really popular and then there's a big drop off and something else becomes really big for a while.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not denying that. Part of my point was that Sony wasn't wrong in turning down that deal. Which company makes more profit? Also, Sony isn't rebooting Spider-Man anytime soon.
