Of all time? Damn that’s a tough one, gonna have to think about it and post later.

I mean part 1 was hit or miss especially the season finale but part 2 was a vast improvement. If it didn’t get canceled, part 3 would have been meta as fuck

You're not allowed to make a list until you watch The Wire. Watch The Wire you fucking coward, you have nothing better to do.

what? it got canceled? You bastards. How have they not learned that if you're making great TV, don't stop even if it's not appreciated now it can sell later when the people are ready for it.

It's extremely uncommon for Netflix shows to make it past the 2nd (sometimes 3rd) seasons, they don't seem to see money in long-running shows outside of cheap shit and event programming like Stranger Things

Putting Firefly on a pedestal as the pinnacle of entertainment who's cruel cancellation was a body blow you're still reeling from IS a meme though.

It was a pretty ok show with 14 episodes that didn't end up going anywhere and ended 17 years ago.
It's time to move on.

Can't really think of more. I'm not a big TV/movie watcher but these are some of my favorites. I'm not a fan generally of serious TV it's all a joke to me. If I'm going to sit infront of a box watching recordings of people trying to fool me I'd at least like to laugh.

Damn, beat me to it.

But for real though, I couldn't watch any other show after The Wire because it set a new standard for me, so all these other shows I've listed are shows I've seen before The Wire.

  1. The Wire
  2. Breaking Bad
  3. Star Trek: The Original Series (I'm only naming one Star Trek, but I would like to put more up here)
  4. South Park (Only naming one of 'those' cartoons. Shout out to Futurama and Family Guy)
  5. Judge Judy
  6. The Twilight Zone
  7. Whose Line is it Anyway
  8. Frasier
  9. Key & Peele
  10. The X-Files (I don't actually pay attention to it, I just let it play in the background. It's cozy.)

Yeah I'm sure the extra faggotry had no relevance to you. At least when Rome did it, it was to highlight the degeneracy running rampant in the political branch. Majority of soldiers were fucking bitches.
Ruby - Thu, 12 Mar 2020 03:04:43 EST f4Ot2UEO No.414002 Reply
Are you so concerned with the Roman soldiers "fucking bitches" because they're the avatar you've taken for yourself and they are climbing your Everest?

The sex in Spartacus was usually preformed by the slaves against their personal wishes by or for the entertainment of the slave owning class and was meant to show how these people controlled every aspect of their lives other than what happened when they were in the colosseum. The slave owning class was involved with politics but they never got into the inner workings of Roman politics because the show centered on a group of slaves who were removed from it and only used for service and entertainment. Also you got to see Xenas nips.

I found Rome to be hamfisted and not in a fun way like Spartacus. It's just another boring period piece that honestly didn't do anything special. If I remember right they even did the weird British accent thing that all American historical dramas set outside the US do. The cinematography and editing in Spartacus alone make it great in my opinion. The actors in Spartacus actually trained in historic European marital arts (sword fightin) in preparation for the fight scenes. They're cheesy and over exaggerated but there is still some realism to them that gives them a fluidity you don't really see in too many western productions. I might give Rome another try if I'm bored but if I'm going to watch a straight faced American political period piece about Italy I still haven't finished the Borgias because it keeps putting me to sleep.
