Oracle has apparently won the competition to take over TikTok's US operations. Microsoft disclosed on Sunday that ByteDance, TikTok's Chinese owner, rejected Microsoft's rival bid earlier in the day.

As someone who works alot with oracle products, don't worry. Oracle is a dumpster fire and all their shit is broken as hell.

Oracle's evil is only restrained by their incompetence.

Oracle's data engineering is notoriously, uh, nonexistent, so they're not going to immediately profit from this. They're not even getting the source code on the deal. It's nuts. Trump basically forced the technology industry to make a deal for a white elephant on terms practically set by the Chinese parent company. This will not last long and long-term makes investment in the US by international capital less appealing.
