Ukagaka is a program that loads little mascot characters (called "ghosts") onto your desktop and allows them to interact with you and each other through dialogue boxes. It's been around for a long time in Japan, but I don't get the impression it's very well known in the English-speaking world. Nonetheless, there is a small but active fan community around them. The attached image is a ghost of Mayura, a character who I'm sure most people on this board are already at least somewhat familiar with. Personally, I would really like to make a ghost of TCC-chan and Yakui-tan. Unfortunately, I don't really have the free time to do it right now, especially since I don't have any pre-existing art skills, but it's a fun thought! Does anyone here like ukagaka?
