Taste differs.
I'd probably also prefer tempeh to pork, something about the taste I just don't care for.
It'll never compare to some nice lamb roast though, that stuff is mouth heroin.
I could grok somebody having the same distaste for all meat instead of just pork.
(still, gotta have tried some of that lamb before dissing all meat, can't generalize it all together)

What are some good ways to spice up your coffee?
A friend of mine used to always spice his up with some ground cardamom in the press, another gave me a tip to toss a bag of chai in there. And there's mocha of course.
Irish coffee is a thing, never tried that. Did put rum in coffee once though, not a success, tasted exactly like a hobo smells like. Unwashed piss and dirt. Might just have been the rum though.

Anybody know other good things to put in your coffee?

I started adding cream to it and now I'm addicted

And I figured out that you can froth cream instead of milk (or alongside it), it works perfectly.

I have a coffee with 3 espresso shots and cream at the start of every day, at around 6am. I have no more coffee for the rest of the day - unless I have a decaf or something. I crash around 3-4pm or something but I like it this way, I get a bit of high in the morning and its quite clean, so to speak.

I didnt quite like just cream in coffee when I tried it, but what I do like is when you have left over whipped cream from a dessert or something, put a spoonful to float on top and it slowly melts into a soft layer on top to drink the coffee through.

How can you make bubbly water/carbonated water without a gay soda stream machine? Also is carbonated water "bad" in any way? Does commercial sparkling mineral waters you get in store have a soda chemical compound I think, and that variant is not good to ingest. Is homemade sparkling water same as that soda shit?

The soda stream is pretty cool. Would recommend.

You can also buy a setup for carbonating kegs at home. It's a bit more involved, but I think they have small 1 gallon systems. Look at forced carbonation homebrewing stuff.

You can put a small amount of yeast and sugar in the water and put it in a pressure-safe container. It's gonna look and taste horrible, but carbonated water it will be.

If you don't want to buy one of those machines you can get a CO2 cylinder, regulator, and some PET bottles and an adapter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K4GGYT0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_nTACDb9RSTZMD). Look on craigslist your can usually find used cylinders pretty cheap, might be able to find a regulator too.

My uncle just got dried avocado powder. And avocado is very high in fat 59.4g per 100 and 13 saturated ... basically can this be useful in using for cooking food or baking stuff cuz of the high fat content? Could you replace oil completely by just using liquid and letting the avocado powder dissolve and using it as a cooking base ...

The best thing you can do for chicken breast is salt it a MINIMUM of one hour before cooking, overnight would be better. Use Kosher salt, you want big flakes rather than tiny granules. If you use table salt you're likely going to over-season it.

When I buy chicken (or pretty much any un-ground meat) the first thing I do when I get home from the store is salt it and put it in a tupperware/ziploc baggy and put it in the fridge.

How are some people able to eat "unhealthy" things, while others could not handle eating those same things, even if these people are very healthy not putting bad stuff in their stomach (like meats, oil, acidic food...).

Is it the strength of the immune system that is responsible for this?

What is responsible for how much "unhealthy" things one can eat and get away with it more than others?

Story time: my 3 closest friends and I were all/are all spicy fiends, and have been since the early 2000's. As we started getting older, some of us found that we couldn't eat spicy food anymore without getting severe heartburn, as well as the classic fiarrhea.

Fast forward a few years, and it turns out pretending to go vegan worked for all of us so we can eat spicy food again. When I say pretend, I mean trying to go vegan and failing, but ultimately switching to a primarily plant-based diet.

I can't imagine a premade ramen is all that hot. I'll have to try it and report back.
