I like to put my delivery pizza in a preheated oven when it gets to my house.

Are I is weird?

I know it defeats the purpose of convinience food,

But I cant get enough of that gently crispy bottom...

and the cheese goes extra stringy.

Am I alone in my habit?

Reheating cooked food does seem pretty weird. Why not ask them for it "well done" when you order it? Unless an asshole is working there they'll just put it back in for a half or quarter cycle in the over for you.

Well done is subjective though as far as I know the pizza oven from my usuall place is forced air induction and i just like "crispy crust" and the only two places are capable of doing just this are (prominent canadian sports bar that fucked up pizza so bad that one my girlfriend feels ill just walking by which Ive had nothing but positive experiences with but only have it in the rich ends of town so the quality bar is high) and (superb local hippie place thats expensive artisan pizza)

So sticking it on the pizza stone for a quick spin in the regular electric o is how I roll.

I mean, you do you man. Personally if I want to get that picky about a pizza I will just cook it at home. For me the only reason I get delivery is laziness and convenience. I never get food delivered that I expect to be of a high caliber lol. But if somehow this intersection of convenience and quality control makes you happy then keep at it. The least you could do however is provide us with some content. Me personally, I am the caveman who learned to make chicken soup. I promised I would post a pic-by-pic of me making it again and I am going to. I haven't yet but it will happen. Too busy doing caveman shit. You should post a pic of the pizza as it arrives, then a pic of how it looks after you bake it. Bonus points for zooming in on the underside to illustrate your crust theories.

I don't think it's that strange, i do the same thing, keeps it warm longer and helps to crispy it up.
>>159068
Maybe it's cuz I live in the ghetto and nobody here has any work ethic. But I always choose well done, and 90% of the time I'll get a pizza that is still doughy.

Considering the average quality of a pizza delivery place? Not weird at all.

Ever tried making your own pizza dough and use your own choice of toppings? Shit's so cash, although I usually end up making misshapen calzones or hot pocket abominations.

I've been thinking about getting a pizza stone for my oven. It supposedly really helps in achieving that OG Napolitana pizza flavour.

I fry it in a pan with a little olive oil. Cheese stays bubbling hot, crust is perfectly crispy and not too dry.
