Lately I've been really enjoying my "new" espresso machine I like to use oat milk to foam, and I will be buying better beans and a coffee grinder soon. And last I top with shaved chocolate flakes.
It has successfully drawn me back into coffee drinking after a couple years off it.

Anyone else go all out on their coffee??

I've massively ghetto'd my coffee situation. On a suspicion i tried blending freeze-dried coffee granules with cold milk and yes, as i'd hoped, the weird property the stuff has that allows it to hold structures and foams like the beautiful, revolting, dalgona coffee also lets it whip up like a milkshake. I blend excessively, get it huge and silky and foamy, plop some icecubes and a straw in and maybe drizzle a bit of caramel if im feeling basic and its just this coffee milkshake which is really wholesome

compared to my previous "thing" of doing my homebrew spin on "bulletproof" coffee which id do with a drip-filter, globs of butter and coconut oil and a drop of maple syrup its maybe 10x easier and less cleanup

i do love making a good-ass iced coffee though

Since the time of making this thread I have upped my coffee game thru trial and error.

I prefer oat milk to dairy, so I have found my favorite types for foaming, but I wanna make my own in the future. And I have also upgraded to some ethically sourced, organic coffee beans that I keep in the freezer to preserve flavor.

All in all, I'd say that I prefer my coffee over a fancy coffee shop any day of the week now.

Now I need to go prepare my morning brew, peace.

I liked to drink Red Bull Simply Cola because it was one of the few energy drinks that did have caffeine in it and now I drink alot of 7up because 7up is alot better than all other drinks.

ah its just a straight-up coffee, my personal favorite

espresso over ice, tiny splash of milk on top. All the ice lets the espresso down just a little with the melting as it lowers the temperature. The milk on top creates this cloudy effect (which in my opinion makes the drink 10x more delicious)

the hard part is ordering this at places where i cant just sidle over to the machine and do it myself. "iced coffee" here is pretty ubiquitously about a liter of milk over an espresso.
