Last time I fired one, the gap between the magazine and the frame was so large that the skin on my pinky finger got caught in between it while shooting. Had an enormous blood blister afterwards.

Most recent purchase of mine, haven't put enough rounds down range to say if I like it as much as my 17 but my 17 doesnt look like a wallet in my pocket...

Or maybe Glock should not make the gap between the frame and magazine so big that you could trap a bear in it.

I put about 700 rounds out my 43 can't say I have any magazine gap problems. Gun works fine I carry it everyday for work so little I don't even have to wear a holster if I don't want to I can just put it in my pocket. To put that in perspective I am a very small person 5'7" 130lbs. I want a glock 19 mostly because of how much I enjoy the 43, my father also wants one because he is quite a bit larger than me and his 43 is just too small for his hands, however he does find it handy when he needs to have a weapon on him or in his car.

If you want a subcompact Glock go for a 26 so you have the option for double stack hi capacity mags. You are limited to low capacity single stack mags with the 43 and 42 unfortunately... There are smaller and lighter single stack 9mms and .380's out there, and if you get a glock the capacity is what should matter as that's what it's original selling point was. A new age high capacity polymer "wonder" pistol that outperformed the heavier steel counterparts of its time.

Coming from someone who’s owned every polymer frame pistol the 43 is a million times better then the 26-27-33 size it’s more comfortable with a slimmer profile I have huge hands and with a magazine extension it fits perfectly I choose it all the time in my ccw mix and I’m used to a g31 not to mention they make reliable 12 round magazines now
