Idk if this is a noob question but going for it anyways. I wanna get a gun, and am thinking about a Ruger 10/22 cuz they and their ammo is so cheap. I also wanna be able to fire automatic without jumping thru all the hoops, are bump stocks really that quality and all they're cracked up to be and should I get one along with my 22?

I am not certain if they even make bump-stocks that work with a ruger 10/22.

Being a newbie perhaps it would be a better idea to pick up that rifle and learn proper marksmanship than to just blast away ... Also I am under the impression that most bump stocks cost quite a bit of money, even more than the 10/22 costs

Nah they do make em, I was able to find one online, and yeah they cost a lot, but I still want one. And yeah, of course, I'm gonna git gud at shooting it w/o the bump stock first for sure.

keep in mind they dont really work if your left handed, I tried to use one on an ar-15 one time but it didnt work at all as a left handed shooter.

get your 22 and shoot it and learn to shoot it fast and if then you still want a bump stock buy it

Bump stocks are the most gimmicky bullshit ever.

The only reason you'd ever buy one today is so you can speculate on their price in the event that they're banned by law.

10/22 is a fine choice the bump stocks though are shit and most .22s don’t have adequate recoil to make it feasible, I’d recommend building an ar15 in .22lr with a binary trigger and you’ll have the best platform to accomplish what you want to do , or you could mod a 10/22 to go full auto if you don’t give a fuck about the laws

Bump stocks are illegal so no, don't get one. Just modify the gun you can find instructions online on how to make it automatic
