Hey, can you guys describe to me what a heroin high feels like?

How does it affect each sense?

Smell - Taste- Touch- Sound- Sight- Feeling (emotional/spiritual)

It seems you are coming from a perspective of someone who has tried cannabis and maybe some psychedelics/more cerebral drugs which alter your state of consciousness. Well, opioids are really like that in that they affect you in that way. It doesn't really change your senses in a significant way. It basically just makes your body feel like its having a loooong orgasm while you are in a 100% sober mndset. You will get mood enhancement and even feel more energetic/talkative at reasonably low doses. At higher doses you will just want to close your eyes and you will enter a state similar to lucid dreaming.
There is not spiritual value to opioids. They do not grant the user unique perspectives. They just make you feel good. That is basically all it does.
Also, if you are curious and thinking about experimenting with opioids, I'd strongly advise you to think again. It is a whole different game from cannabis and having a fun little trip on mushrooms or whatever the fuck you have experimented with thus far. Opioids are an amazing feeling that will suck you in and ruin your life. Even if you think you are stronger than them, and it won't happen to you, there is a substantial chance you are wrong. 25% of people who try heroin become addicted. Do you wanna roll those dice?

“Do you wanna roll those dice?” You posit that question as if I would willingly poison myself with opiates, no, I come here to ask because I won’t do that.

First of all, I said IF you are thinking about it
But good, keep that mindset

holy shit, this describes my entire experiences in two simple fucking words.

I tried heroin expecting this orgasmic rush of pure bliss and euphoria and it wasn't that at all (granted I had a fair tolerance to painkillers already). i just didn't care. I was content and didn't have a care in the world. i was perfectly content with snorting my painkillers/heroin and just chlling in my room at my grandparents house as an almost 24 year old who should (and at one point, had) his shit together.

now I'm ALWAYS thinking about that high. chasing that blissful apathy. I wish I had a local supplier. I am more than confident I will always be an opiate abuser of those two beautiful words. i will probably always be chasing that high without extreme medical or societal intervention.

For me it was just pure apathy. Nothing except the feeling in that moment left. Spiritually heroin is like apathy of the soul imo so I've never had anything spiritual going. More so it made me stop thinking about everything for once and gave me peace momentarily. This clearly doesn't last forever though.

for the record, most non-IV opioids are one of the safest, if not arguably the safest drug to use in terms of physical bodily harm, excluding adulterated street products and improperly dosed opioids that can potentially lead to OD. They may not be harmless (neuroplasticity-related wiring changes in the brain, lower testosterone, constipation, etc.), but in terms of physical damage, combusted (smoked not vaporized) cannabis is arguably more physically damaging.

The myth that most non-IV, pharma grade opioids destroy organs or something needs to be debunked already. It's 2020.

addiction is a disease, opioids very commonly cause addiction, therefore opioids cause disease of the mind, ergo they could be considered poison

but yeah they are physically very gentle
curious /psy/guy - Thu, 04 Jun 2020 18:29:17 EST 1t/OE150 No.615524 Reply
Yeah no, cannabis is safer than any opioid. You would never in a million years OD on cannabis. I didn’t want to have to become argumentative here but I simply cannot let you mislead people like that. Opioids are NOT safe to use and are certainly not the safest type of drug, no matter how you spin it. I’m not gonna stand by and have you mislead people like that.

As a person who dislikes weed and loves opiates over any other drug, I have to 100% agree with this.

Cannabis is literally one of, if not THE safest drug out there. Saying opiates are safer is frankly retarded.

I don't disagree whatsoever that cannabis is safer overall. If you pay close attention, I specifically referred to PHYSICAL damage. I also said "aside from OD risk." The point is that pharmaceutical grade, properly dosed, oral opioids are surprisingly low risk in terms of physical damage, even lower than combusted cannabis (not necessarily non-combusted cannabis).

The double edged sword is that opioids slowly rewire your brain and prime it to be more compulsive, slowly gravitating towards mental and eventually physical addiction. That's one reason why pharmaceutical non-IV opioids can be so alluring for those truly knowledgeable about drugs.

this is interesting, it has an almost opposite effect on me, I feel all anxiety melt away and whats left is a more compassionate and relaxed mental state, I find myself being more social and in touch with people around me. I guess I feel apathy usually so theres no way a drug could make me more apathetic and I gravitate towards the lower end of doses, only approaching a real nod maybe once a month at most when I'm bored and alone.

Feels everything is fine. Everything feels normal, pain is diminished, you can jog almost twice as long. Very chill, you could be almost anywhere and with heroin itd be totally ok. Spiritually, it puts you in a good mood, you probably want to be raw when entering the spirit realm though.
Heroin feels like when you put in the all guns cheat code on GTA.

Speaking of "enthusiastic" retards...opiates are physically very safe. Fatal overdoses without other drugs are very rare and usually from relapsing or fent (opioid). Opiates can be used to create toxic conditions like constipation or fatal od (only when used improperly, they're not retard proof so...), but they're not inherently toxic like stims or even tranquilizers
