Found a 1.25L bottle I used with poppy seeds still in it, couple days old and they were damp. I know damn well better than to try and get anything from them because I know how fast bacteria grows, nevermind mold or anything that might be there.

So I go to empty it down the sink and the thing releases pressure like a shaken up bottle of coke and the strange strong smell of fruit roll up and some kind of berry fills the air. There was never any carbonated item in that bottle, nothing with gas at all.

The only things I had in there were water, the seeds and some citric acid (pure). So what the fuck was that gass build up that actually didn't smell bad, but still worries me? Also when I washed the seeds out the water instantly turned a dank ass milky-brown.

It's normal. The seeds release oils and start trying to germinate and grow, causing chemical reactions. This increases pressure in the bottle. Don't breathe that shit in, and definitely don't drink it.
Don't empty it down household drains either. I've heard 2 stories on here of ppl busting their household pipes because of seeds clogging their drain pipes. One even required hazmat to come and clean shit, piss, and seed gunk that started flooding their house.

How illegal is it to grow in Australia? I actually don't know if I can grow it here. I mean of course I COULD but, i'd have to be more or less careful depending. Plus knowing my luck I'd get junkies jumping into my god damn garden stealin' me plants.

It basically comes down to how plausibly you can appear to growing them other than for their drug purposes or in ignorance of them. Even wattles could land you in strife if say animals ringbarked them and you happened to have some basic solvents and cleaning chemicals in your garden shed. Of course this all depends on how much of an upstanding citizen and pillar of the community you have been up to now.

Obviously if you score the pods you're screwed. I have seen some massive San Pedro cacti grown as ornamentals apparently in ignorance.

I don't have any criminal record, despite a lot of shit I've done. I'm not sure, but I'd be willing to bet I'm on a couple of watch lists. But yeah, I should be safe. Just, I don't think it wise while I share my living space with others. . . If only there were community plots like in germany, little private gardens in the middle of nowhere, big old fences around them so you can't see in to others plots.... ah...

Bruh, I'd be tripping out a lot if I found a place selling that shit.
