The ephedra plant grows wild where I live. Let me show you it, maybe you can harvest some if you can identify it and do your research like I did.

So 1000g will yield MAX \30g (likely much less) of combined ephedrine and pseudoephedrine when extracted (+some other shit). Not too bad.

What you gonna do with it?

Probably continue to pray for it's holy existence.

I only drink the tea form of ephedra. I think I'll wait until spring for it to get right chemically again.

This post is old but I’m visiting the desert for the next month and went looking for ephedra because I saw this thread. Sure enough I found some. I chopped it up and made tea out of about a tbsp of fresh stems. Added some lemon juice and honey too. It didn’t taste like much but it sure worked. Was a similar effect to drinking strong coffee but it didn’t last as long. Pretty cool.

OP here, I'm glad someone was able to try it out! Ephedra seems to be one of those not well known plants.
