Hey /other/,

recent success at work has given me an opportunity to explore some of the more fringe nootropics and herbal supplements that can be found online my current library consists of:

powdered white maeng da kratom (i have a pill machine that makes capping these pretty easy)
kava extract
phenibut powder

i have heard of many different legal supplements. My recent dosages have enabled me to get off anti-depressants and have curbed my seemingly unstoppable insomnia.

I have heard good things about modanafil, are there any other chemicals online that might be of interest to me?

You do realize that modafinil is prescribed for people with narcolepsy in order to keep them awake right? Honestly in my opinion phenibut is also terrible for insomnia because of the length of time for effect and the social stimulation that comes it. Kratom may help and kava maybe as well, but both also produce stimulating effects along with their sedating ones.

If you've got bad insomnia try and get an ambien RX or just eat 20 benadryl like an adult.

Yeah i was thinking of taking it in the morning before work, I doubt the effects would keep me up after 16 hours.

Ambien makes me wake up driving and sideswipe cars. I also woke up naked in my upstairs neighbors bed while my girlfriend was sleeping upstairs. I'm good on the ambien dude, the only thing that worked for me before kava and phenibut has been seroquel, which turns me into a zombie.

I'm not necessarily looking for super recreational effects, just stuff I could add to grow my collection. Obscure botanicals or nootropics would be cool

For insomnia, a couple bags of those extra strength sleep teas sold at the grocery store and a quick dissolve melatonin pill will make you tired and relaxed. You won't get any euphoria but the antianxiety and sedative effects are real.

I've been reseaching tianeptine a lot, seems like an interesting alternative to kratom. Anyone have experience with that? Either the salt or the sulphate

Save time and do heroin. It's basically the same, except tianeptine is weaker so it'll probably be more expensive ya know. I mean I guess it's not awful to get a little. But it's like you build a tolerance quick and it's super addictive so

and withdrawal from tianeptine is opiate withdrawal + SSRI withdrawal which can be just as bad

i have heard that is best used sparingly. I take around 12 grams of kratom per day and I was considering using the tianeptine as a way to stretch out my supply as an occasional alternative

i used to choke down iced coffees with kratom. Not the optimal way to go about it. Pill machine is like 20 bucks on amazon and caps are super cheap. What i'm struggling with is finding time to sit down and throw on a podcast and make my weekly supply.

BUT i'm off antidepressants for the first time in almost a decade so i am definitely a proponent of kratom. shit saved me from inevitably ODing in a mcdonalds restroom.
