Anyone tried 25-i?

I'm really really tempted to get some but it seems kind of dangerous, how does it compare to lsd/shrooms other psychedelics, to anyone who has tried it?

i'd be very keen to hear about it

Yeah, considering the availability of other psys, I'd consider it completely unworthy of attention.

2C-I causes everything in your vision to transform into something else completely. It can be really distressing and not something that I would do for fun. Least enjoyable of the 2c-x family IMO.

idk why all the hate towards 25i. I quite enjoyed it in moderate doses. didn't affect my health in any noticeable way. although lsd wins hands down.

BINDS LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER AND TOLERANCE IS AT LEAST 2 TIMES LONGER. I just wish less people took it, that's why. Inherently it's fine, but many people don't realize that they are doing very sub optimal choices by fulfilling their intentions with this substance.

I've done 25I, 25C, 25B and 25N. Some of these were good trips, others were underwhelming, but even the good ones were mostly just some nice eye candy and not what I'd call valuable psychedelic experiences. The body load is more unpleasant than LSD, too. I often felt like my whole body was swollen. Not worth your time if you have access to LSD or other, safer, psychedelics.

25i is alright, it does feel a bit more fucked if you take a high dose, never go above 1000ug's, I've unknowingly got it sold as acid, took 2 hits, and had some very bad stomach pain, muscle cramps, and blinding vision. I had a lot of tracers, but each tracer felt like it was shining like a flashlight into my eye. Thought about going to the hospital at one point, though ended up just taking a long hot shower, and that seemed to help a bunch.

It's kinda fun to take in small doses, kinda like LSD but not as much spiritual feelings, I felt kinda like a lab rat at times, and maybe a little bit psychotic. The cramps are a lot more prominent than LSD, my least favorite part of it, especially when in my stomach/intestines. I kinda like how 25i makes me feel very impish and a little mischievous, though not to the point where I do anything crazy. There's a gritty greasyness to the trip, it might perturb some.

If I had the choice, I'd just get LSD, as it feels the most fulfilling, but if money is what you're concerned about, 25i is like bargain bin LSD, not too bad, the real shit is better though.

Is it frustrating to want to have a more intense trip on NBOMe and be unable to because of the toxicity? Also, are tabs more consistently dosed?

Never really WANTED to have a super intense 25i trip. The substance itself is pretty intense. The few times I did take heavy doses it was always an uncomfortable experience, and I was unknowledgeable that it was 25i until I tasted the bitterness on my gums. I kinda like the after effects of 25i, kinda reminds me of a light candyflip afterglow.

I did 25-i on accident i thought it was acid but it was sold to me by janky street kids so in retrospect i should've known. it made my vision shake and blur in a way that was actually kinda scary and I couldn't hold a stare on anything, the walls also melted and breathed like similar to acid but my vision literally turned hues of red and purple and I have to drive to work like that, I had to guess what street signs were green based on what shade of purplish blue it was, I could tell the red signs were red cause they looked deep red almost black, but I was not safe to drive or work, I tripped like that literally for 48 hours and I couldn't sleep the whole duration either. I think it killed my ego a bit cause I never felt quite the same since and my anxiety in general got kinda worse after so I think it kinda messed me up but I'm recovering now.

it also made my vision turn like, static-y I watched gravity falls during the trip and the part where they meet Bill was especially trippy

Are you talking about the traffic lights? Jesus. Next time just call in sick or take a cab or something.

That's not ego death. I've never experienced it myself, but from what I've read, ego death is temporary memory suppression, where your consciousness is temporarily isolated from your memories and identity, such that you're able to observe the world from a completely neutral/objective point of view.

What you're describing sounds more like you got a bit of PTSD because the trip got out of your hands.

Ego death/loss has some memory suppression component, but it's more like the distinct inability to differentiate oneself from everything or anything else. There simply is no more "you" and it the strong sense of depersonalization can be startling. It happened to me in one memorable circumstance where I couldn't distinguish between myself and the corner of the table; so for all intents and purposes I was the corner of the table and table leg.

This. When ego death occurs, you'll know it. there won,t be any doubt like ''I think it killed my ego''.

Which isn't to say you can't have less pronounced ego 'softening' experiences and get some anxiety afterwards. look up Dark Night of the Soul or the Dukkha Nana's for more info

It's funny how people conflate these terms though isn't it. Especially when that psychedelic spiritual apotheosis that leads to such humbling can wear off pretty quick. Ego death isn't this crazy eye opening thing people make it out to be, because it doesn't even necessarily include a sense or feeling of oneness. Sometimes you're just a table in a cold living room sitting on the linoleum or maybe you can't tell the difference between yourself and everyone else you've ever met(mushies vs hbwr+ganja+dxm).

It's understandable when dealing with a topic that many people talk about (at least on the Internet) and few actually experience. Plus the term is honestly not that great to begin with, and lends itself to confusion. Maybe "suppression of the self" might be better.

Yes, I'd say it's the realization that one is the experience instead of dividing the experience into me and other(s). But the term ego is shit in general, so I don't use it unless otherwise in a very lenient and carefree discussion. You know like small talk.
