Idk about wica but i hate some fun experiences with sex magic as teenager. I put my juju on someone and when we where hanging out she would hear sounds coming from me. I wasn't working anything the two times she mentioned it but when i ask what is sould like she said "i dont know... like humming" anyways each time she just assumed i was making a noise and no one else in the room could hear it including me even when got quiet an listened. Things kinda went my way before an after that
Happened.

And then a twice in my life i felt a presents in the room and then a sense that it was touching me sexually and i came pretty hard. This is pretty common but mostly when people are sleeping. I was awake and sitting both times.

Ive had a few other more personal ones that i dont share, and I consider myself a atheist now. But i have definitely had some experiences that i find difficult to explain logically. And i dont wish too. It was fun and i enjoy the mystery and "magic" of
It. And feel very fortunate to have had these experiences.

Wicca is just another direction to arrive at the same fundamental truths from. Take it from Dion Fortune, her earlier stuff was pretty much wiccan, but she moved on to more general western occultism, the typical rosecrucian stuff, you know the deal. But yeah read books by Dion Fortune if you like the pagan aesthetic.

Wicca is weak. It was invented in the 1960s by feminists to try to rewrite history so that it seemed like women always ruled.

There's only two kinds of magic that work: direct casting or asking some spooky being to do it for you. ya feels me?

Back to /pol/ with you, Dion Fortune died in '46.
>or asking some spooky being to do it for you
You obviously have no idea what you talk about whatsoever, who do you think wiccans are doing all that altar magic for hmm?

well ok I was wrong about whatever's death.

My point is that it was popularized in the 60s for feminism. And most of their "spells" are just random poetry. There are good things in the book of shadows type encyclopedic things (yes I know book of shadows is a generic thing) but reciting poetry and bracing yourself for supposedly self inflicted consequences is silly. It's like Tim Burton style magic.

Just sayin' you can't recite poetry. How is this /pol/ material? This is definitely /spooky/ material.

I guess I could say wicca is a good starting point but it's kindergarten level type shit.

Gardner couldn't hack it with the big kids, so he paid cash to papa Crowley to write his book of shadows. Then he wandered off for a life of spanking proto-goth girls half his age as a central ritual to his private religion. I'll admit to a bit of envy there. Ol' Gerry Boy lived out quite the life. I hope my HGA tells me that something similar is my Will. It looks like a lot of fun. It is, perhaps, the UC Santa Cruz of the occult world. Party school. Dubious presentation of fairly accurate knowledge. Competent but second or third tier faculty.

Gardner and his coven, which I will define here as "Anyone who would need to be notified if Mr. Gardner contracted the Clap precisely 30 days ago", did some neat if highly idiosyncratic magical work. Props.

There are both functional and purely decorative Wiccan covens. Their ability to function is roughly par for the course amongst the occult community. Useful, if unspectacular subjective effects are common but far from universal. Said effects wither when recorded for some reason. I am fully aware of how "convenient" that is. I wouldn't buy it if I didn't see it firsthand. I hope you are savy enough not to take my word either. If you want to believe so badly you let your guard down, you should stay the hell out of the hexagram. The wide-eyed babes in the woods do not fare well.

Check it out for yourself. Even if that involves a trip to SoCal, or whatever dingy exurb of London the Typhonian crowd are infesting.

You want specifics? I left on the 405 Freeway at 5:15 PM on a weekday. I had 64 miles to get to an initiation that started at 6:30. You do not do 55 MPH in Los Angeles at any time of day or night. The very idea is absurd... But the cars parted for me like the Red Sea before Moses. You really had to be there. Freeze dried Krispy Kreme.

I saw a photographer write, in opaque pastel blue, sigils in the air with his hand. Admittedly no one else saw this, but when I asked him about I later he just smiled. As did his wife. Apparently rather a common experience for them. I am not prone to psychotic breaks. I have no third choice. Real or unreal. I must accept the evidence of my own senses, but cannot reasonably ask you to do the same. Freeze dried Krispy Kreme again.

An explained magical phenomena is like a freeze dried Krispy Kreme Doughnut. Eating one may give you a vague idea of what a fresh one is like, but it is sad. Sad and unconvincing. I can only direct you to the strip mall wherein Krispy Kremes are made. I can't eat it for you. I can't even say it is a particularly good idea.

If I told you they both make your life objectively worse in the long run, would that stop you? Not if you're posting here. Magick is fun and doughnuts are fucking tasty.

formal structures are kinda the opposite of what we're looking for

i appreciate semi-formal systems that i can scrape for useful interpretations, but at the end of the day, no one system is going to cover the breadth of symbols that we are presented with on a daily basis.

My first paranormal experience, albeit me being an atheist still at that point. But very curious. I'd say that's what put me on a spiritual journey in the first place, without me realizing.
Ever since I've becoming more and more spiritual, arriving at religion at this point.
Anyway, I was a druggie, druggin it up n shit.
Had some speed in my bloodstream, from hours ago. Snorting that shit'll give you a delirium that'll easily last you 24 hours.
So I had a pot, and a bowl in there.
Was trying to steamheat the ceramic bowl with a waterbath so that I could melt the hash into the tobacco, then making it real fine, I'm just a perfectionist, I was trying to make a perfect Gravity Bong mix.
I'd just sit there in a trance, alternating between mixing the herb mixture, putting more water in the mixture and the waterbath, and then steaming it off.
I think I did it for two hours.
The end result was probably me just getting high off the fumes and the mixture not getting me high at all.
But that trance man, never been in one like it.
Later I read about wiccan rituals and realized I had made one. Really made a lot of sense lul.

I met someone from Kansas City on the streets who had claimed that his parents and grandparents were involved in some of the original Wicca covens in the U.S. with Gerald Gardner....

...he was a really interesting fellow and I thoroughly enjoyed everything he told me about "Wiccanism".....i felt like it was most certainly an extraordinary encounter intended by God.......I was and am a Christian.....this Wicca fellow lived a very interesting nomadic and resourceful lifestyle and he was seemingly a very hardworking and industrious fellow

When I was young and dumb I purchased a LaVeyan ritual book and tried Voodoo and contacting the dead. Ultimately I had coincidental misfortune that seemed to linger for a while after.

I made the mistake of trying to perform a ritual to Tchernobog the skeletal diety of the dead. I used a wooden skull since I did not have a real one. But I did get a reaction that startled me, but I believe it could have been the spirit of my dead uncle? He had committed suicide in the back of that house as he was going schizo and blind.

Several nights after the ritual, I was in my room for the evening and on the phone, when the handle to my door of my room begins shaking violently. This unsettled me.

I approached, opened and nothing on the other side but my mother in her room across the hall. I asked if she was trying to open my door, and she gave me this puzzled look and stated "I thought that was you". She went to my Grandmother's room and came back with a blessed crucifix in hopes of some apotropaic.

Coincidentally like I said there was much anger and misfortune that soon followed after that, grandma dying, ex leaving after being together through school. I think it's just common knowledge to fuck with things you don't understand. That being said, focus on the one-ness of all things and try be a conduit of light. Karma is real from what I have seen and felt.

Personally have had to smudge with sage to cleanse bad vibes. Best done accompanied by friends or family. There are many unmarked native resting grounds in my state, ghost towns, etc. You can feel it when you're being watched and it isn't pleasant. Also, don't face chairs or mirrors towards your bed. It invites the dead to watch you sleep or enter your dreams.

It was really just a foolish act of unresolved emotions vented through what I thought would be revenge in the form of dark arts. Making the clay doll wrapped in cloth ritually... and performing archaic tribal hexing. I wanted to curse someone for abusing and mistreating a person that I deeply loved and cared about. Nothing good came of it, as I said there was a coincidental misfortune that seemed to linger after... Like a fog of negativity. If there was any damage done it was to me and those I loved, and it seemed to be a misfortunate series of coincidence. Although shit happens and that's just life. I regret not handling myself, living situation, and stress better than I did instead of being an occultist fag enabler.

Voodoo and Nigromancy are not viable means to vent your anger and frustration... Unless you're playing Diablo.

One time a buddy of mine who joined a wicca cult gave me a handmade necklace he blessed while on acid. I brought it to a psychic and asked her what the blessings were on it, she used 3 different adjectives as her answer, and then I went and asked him what the blessings were he put on it and he also gave three adjectives as his answer which were all similies of the original answer she gave me. Not the same words, but the same meanings. Prettt cool tbh.

There is something about preparing drugs that is somewhat “magical” to me. It can be even something as light as making a pot of coffee. There is just a ritual to it that the coffee is going to change your head. Same thing tobacco or even e juice as unnatural as vaping is messing with the vape seems magical I guess because the nicotine is going to change your brain.
