Well, I damaged a plant. To be fair it's an evil plant. Are there consequences for this? Rewards for purging the unclean?

Brugmansias aren't evil. People are evil and use it for malevolent purposes. The plant just lived.

You don't get rid of knives because people use it as a malevolent instead of benevolent tool. You get rid of the people who use the tool in the malevolent way.
