Personal story. Upstate ny, Mid-Hudson Valley region. Was out at night, winter, but no snow on the ground yet. I had my ax, and machete with me, At the time, I was an avid monster hunter, and wanted to be prepared for any encounters. I had also with me a flashlight, heavy boots, layered clothing, and several fixed blade knives. I went into my woods, I was barely still a child, early teens. I trekked through the brush, senses alert, going deeper and deeper. I was about a half mile in when I heard something I've never heard in my life or since. It's difficult for me to describe, but this is the best I think I can do.Imagine if you will, someone yelling, but whispering. You can do it now to see what that sounds like. Try it. Whisper-yell. Now that you know what it sounds like...I can continue. I heard what sounded like that, only if someone was doing it into a microphone connected to a massive amplifier. It was not the wind. It was not my imagination. It made my blood run cold and I felt fear. I felt fear. It did not sound of this world. People have told me that it was probably a mountain lion...For a time I thought it was "bigfoot". But I don't think that anymore. Time has passed and I have gained enough wisdom to learn to trust my intuition. That was a thing that was not of this existence. It was a banshee. Soon after my Grandparents died. >> Sidney Fummlebury - Mon, 21 May 2018 09:51:08 EST EoFa8nCw No.74517 Reply >>74226A giant seal? >> Nathaniel Goodstock - Thu, 24 May 2018 03:48:07 EST cN9rARXd No.74528 Reply >>74517Baby seal.
