I gotta worship an ancient desert spirit but I can't find a good one. This fish dude seems alright but I'd like to weigh the options. Any suggestions?

Why not good old Ba'al? Christians and jews were so scared they constantly warn about him in their holy texts.

yall nigaz dont even know what ur doin with baal.

CANANITES

Baal is why so many kids of missing around the world and them foo's in gov worship that niga.

The Bible places Baal as Beelzebub, one of the fallen angels of Satan. Kings and other royalty of the ten Biblical tribes worshiped the god. The god’s images were erected on many buildings. The religion spawned numerous priests and priestesses with their ceremonies including the burning of incense and offering burnt sacrifices, occasionally consisting of human victims. Now, allow me to turn your attention to Nimrod as Baal was also known. It is important that you know that Nimrod incorporated into his worship system the grisly practice of human sacrifice and cannibalism. Our authority Hislop says, “the priests of Nimrod or Baal were necessarily required to eat of the human sacrifices; and thus it has come to pass that ‘Cahna-Bal’ (cahna meaning priest & Bal referring to Baal) is the established word (cannibal) in our own tongue for a devourer of human flesh.”
Those illites still do that shit

Don't worship them silly, just learn from them. My personal favorite is Hermes or Thoth/Ningishzida as they had a great understanding of science or what the ancients referred to as magic.

I don't care much for Inanna/Aphrodite/Ischtar. I keep seeing their ties to ancient cults of sex and sacrifice from the pyramids of egypt to the ones in the jungle. People banging and burning sexy women as offerings, not cool.

Thor/Zeus just seems really rapey.

King Solomon had control over some of these esoteric properties but was not subject to the whims of darkness being given wisdom over it. As said by Muslims or even Christians and Hindus, give your spirit or djinni (genie) over to the All creator that which is the universe and ubiquitous because even those from nibiru such as the annunaki understood that there is a creator of the finite and infinite.

While there might be some ancient wisdom from cults it's best to leave yourself open to the universe and to expand yourself through research to better greet potential epiphany and wisdoms. There is the Body and there is that which drives it, and the fabric of existence.

This was common practice among many cult tribes, not entirely wrong.
You can try to justify Inanna the whore and other pagan deities all you want, I am not about to burn my pet cat so we can get some rain or sacrifice a virgin so my wife can get pregnant.

She's portrayed as a selfish vengeful fury and a slut. Having herself portrayed in Mesoamerican culture as the scorpion goddess in which many rituals were held in her name some good or bad depending on your morals. You could say it was the people sacrificing to the deity and not the deity itself doing the sacrificing but either way people and animals were still being ritually murdered for offerings to lesser gods such as baal, Inanna the whore, Tchernobog etc.

For every peaceful pagan tribe there's seemingly another misguided or violent one.

Freyr is interesting because his Vedic counterpart would be Mithra, as he was also known among the Persians and Hittites. And when you start comparing the mysteries to early Christianity you realize Jesus was just an incarnation of our great Lord Mithra and that Yahweh is actually Zeus/Odin/Indra, why do you always think he's always striking people down with lightning?

Ba'al is a member of the Elohim in classical canaanite religion. Just like El and Yahweh are. The original idea is they were all equal, each representing a city-state of ancient canaan. Then the Yahwists decided they didn't like being equals...

Yeah because it had already been over for hundreds of years by the time christians came around. They just continued to adhere to the jews opinions about the canaanites and exported those ideas globally with a colonial religion, such that 2500 years later we're still dealing with ancient jewish propaganda in a thread trying to talk about canaanite religion. Judaism couldnt/wouldn't have done that without christianity's help.

You are litereally trying to rewrite history here. It's well documented, the Cananites where Jews themselfs. The other normal Jews had enough of their bullshit and killed them. ITS WRITTEN. Do you just have some stuck up your ass for christianity or soemthing? You don't have to shoe horn it in as the untimate evil in every thread. I am not Christian myself but give it a rest. No, you guys are the ones who have been re-writing history for centuries. The Canaanites weren't Jews, bruh. The Jews were Canaanites, and there were other Canaanites who weren't Jews. It's a 'not everything that has webbed feet is a duck' situation.
>>The other normal Jews had enough of their bullshit and killed them.
So it's normal to go around killing everyone who doesn't worship your god, even though you are all technically part of the same religion, and your god has conveniently said you are ethnically superior to all the people around you and have the right to rule them through violence and enslavement? So that's 'normal' to you, and opposing a genocidal theocratic ethnostate is 'bullshit'?
>>Do you just have some stuck up your ass for christianity or soemthing?
I'm against the slave religion whenever it comes up, and it is only supposed to come up on this board. But I'm not particularly against the idea of the Abrahamic faiths, just the fact that most adherents of them can't tolerate anyone who disagrees with them and like to enforce their views with violence.
>>people like you infuriate me, literally spreading misinformation. History is fucking important, don't try to spin it in other directions...
Yes, you, stop doing that. Learn the actual history before you come with the 'don't distort history' angle:

Read this shit then try again.

>It's well documented, the Cananites where Jews themselfs.
The region of Canaan encompassed a lot of people including the Hebrews and the Phoenicians among others. The Hebrew language itself is in the Canaanite branch of Semitic, itself from the Afroasiatic languages.

The Jews were Canaanites, not the other way around. The authors of the Old Testament claimed that they were separate from the other Canaanites for political purposes and to justify their conquest of neighboring Canaanite tribes.

No. It was a coded sign of solidarity (during a time when Christians were being persecuted by the Romans) playing off of an acronym made from the Greek word for fish.

Pretty straightforward.
