The Chargers have now had three different logos in two days - http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/los-angeles-chargers-logo-reason-change-san-diego-011417

Clearly they should just keep the current logo as the Rams did.

>>31507
The thing is that the city of Oakland has made no progress whatsoever to keep the team nor have they come up with a stadium proposal. The only thing standing in the way is if Sheldon Adelson helps to finance the stadium since they haven't come to terms yet. I think the owners will approve the deal if they can come to terms and Oakland doesn't do anything else to try and keep the team from leaving. Otherwise I think that the Raiders will just move somewhere else like San Antonio since they already have an NFL ready stadium in the Alamodome they could use temporarily.

>everything powder blue
I liked the 90s/early 00s dark blue Chargers uniforms. All those great plays by LaDanian Tomlinson. The "modernized" ones do look better in Powder Blue. And Powder Blue is sexy no doubt (especially the real deal throwbacks). But yeah that weird fake ass Dodgers logo was just sad.

And now they completely dropped the new logo - http://sports.yahoo.com/news/chargers-admit-mistake-drop-la-210043304.html after the negative reaction and also LA Gear filing an opposition to the trademark registration of the logo. Also moving companies and San Diego are refusing to help the team move - https://www.yahoo.com/news/san-diego-moving-companies-refusing-155449990.html

This relocation has gotten as ugly as the Colts and Browns moving to Indianapolis and Baltimore.

And they just traded Danny Espinosa to the Angels, which also being an Angels fan I'm okay with and plus Danny is from Santa Ana so it's close to home. Plus it means Trea Turner can move from outfield to shortstop and Adam Eaton moves into Turner's old position, that is if Eaton ends up being worth it.

Great to see Raines in, much deserved and overdue. Weird to see Posada one-and-done, though. I'm not sure if he's a HOFer or just an almost-there kind of guy like Fred McGriff, but I feel like he deserves the chance to have his case looked at more than one year. I'm pretty salty about Hoffman not getting in, though. Seems like he's a victim of those clowns that vote for position players on their favorite teams instead of deserving guys or because of unrequited grudges. Oh well, Biggio got dicked-over by this a few years ago and then got in the next year so Hoffman seems like a lock next year. I read some writers say that Billy Wagner was a better closer than Hoffman, which is wacky, but Wagner only got about 10% of the vote, so that's that I guess. Wild to see Sammy Sosa still eke in to next year's ballot, too. I wonder if he'll get a boost in voting once Bonds and Clemens get in a couple of years from now.

FIFA is officially expanding the World Cup to 48 teams for the 2026 tournament. That sucks, but maybe competition in the world will improve over the next 8 years so that the Group Stage isn't nothing but one-sided affairs. I really hate the idea of 3-team groups, though.

I don't really like the idea of expanding the World Cup either. Sort of oversaturates it as well as making teams play more games.

I know the personality you're talking about, but I don't think Saban fits in that category. I'd place him alongside someone like Urban Meyer, who's also insanely intense and dedicated--a total perfectionist in what he does. Obsessive, neurotic, and a bit psychopathic describes coaches like Jim Harbaugh and Mike Leach, coaches who can't control their shit and are always a little off. At the end of the day, Saban might be high-strung perfectionist, but he is a professional. Harbaugh always seems like he's on the edge of snapping and heading for a loony bin.

I'm looking for a website that gives daily information on sports teams. It needs to be written in a way that a person that is completely uninterested in football could understand.

(Explanation)
At my job all of my coworkers and my boss love college football. I don't give two shits about it. My co-workers spind a large portion of the day talking about football stuff and my lack of participating is making me into an outcast. Normally this wouldn't bother me but I'm noticing that my co-workers in the football clique seem to get extra perks from my boss. I feel that if I could find this tool I would be able to participate in the conversations without investing time in something that I am not interested in.
