Is it weird for me to admire Muslim and Indian clothing as a white male-to-female person?

I feel silly but I honestly think such clothing looks classy and pretty.

No it's not weird, that kind of thing is really sexualized now with social media and porn sites. White women always talk about how desi women are so pretty, ''eyebrows on point" and stuff. Muslims sexualize themselves too.

but men's fashion was in a much better place in the 70's/80's than women's fashion imo

My boyfriend has a big ass bald spot in his long, increasingly thin hair. It looks ratchet as hell, like visible from 50 feet away. He doesn’t like to wear hats and every haircut I suggest he shoots down. He’s in his early 30s and I think he would look good with just a shaved head, but he won’t go for it and won’t go for anythkng involving a hairpiece or even just a shorter men’s cut that doesn’t involve a combover. He looks mature enough that a bald spot wouldn’t be unattractive if he didn’t look like he was big in denial (which he is). He’s really attached to his sorta lowkey stoner/office goth type vibe and everything I suggest is either too high maintenance (I e hairpieces), too out of his generation, or too overtly masculine for him to be into.
What should I suggest to him? Any tips for convincing him to just bite the bullet?

Shave his head for him. Offer to do it in a way that requires no effort or money spent on his part, then maybe he'll succumb.

At least, that's the best way you could convince me to change my hairstyle if I was balding and someone else didn't like it.

each time you're at a social event, out with friends etc. take a plenty of photos, make sure that your boyfriends bald spot is always visible. Make it the centerpiece of each photo. Afterwards dump all photos in an album on your preferred social media. 2-3 events, some 50-60 photos of his bald spot, he will shave his head.

Men of 420chan,

Do you wear a suit? Where do you even start when it comes to suits? There are so many different types for so many different occasions. I've never really been the type to wear one, rather wearing just kind of whatever I liked at the time.

But now that I'm older and have been trying to get a better paying job, it would seem that I might need to actually invest in a higher grade of clothing and style. In other words, I have to start looking professional, both in the work place and possibly while networking socially. It's sucks, but whatever. Anyone have any tips for someone new to all of this?

Are there any good shops that Google has obscured in favor of Etsy, Pinterist, eBay, and Amazon, where I could order authentic (not steam punk(no offense) and ren faire bullshit) costume parts such as neck ruffs? I assume most of the costume pieces in film for example are custom made or produced through high level networking. There has to be some neat hole-in-the-wall type sites selling this shit.

if i got longer laces do you guys think these are visibly too tight from a normal distance? i accidentally bought 2 sizes too small cause i didn't realize there was anything inherently feminine about space, i'm a 12 but i thought converse were unisex as a rule, so i saw 10 and just grabbed it without looking, but i mean they were in the women's section so i guess that one's on me

i'm asking cause i don't really think they are if you aren't looking for it, but i'm biased cause i want them to work so bad, they feel like foot binding and they'll probably wear out the second i start actually wearing them but i have decent rotation, so i just won't wear them that much

Dude, that shit does not fit your feet. Can confirm, use to wear converse.

But if you are purposefully going for a feet stuffed into shoes look, and it's not destroying your feet, more power to you.

But also fashionable. Is a unique look something you can achieve without borrowing too much from other people's looks? How extreme should you go? Should you just be you even if it's weird to many?

Who do you think has a unique but good fashion style, and how do you think they got it?

This is such a cool thing and it's so infuriating that there's a contingent of dorks who want to roll all this back into the disgusting monotony we had in the past because they think expressing yourself is "cringe" because they're too afraid to. They think people aren't "self-aware" if they look different but the truth is most of us just don't give a shit, because we're secure, well-adjusted adults who realize that other well-adjusted adults either accept and embrace someone's differences or realize that they aren't socially compatible and just quietly keep to people more like them. Whether some rando on the street looks at me and thinks "wow that's cool" or "what the fuck is she doing?" can't possibly have any bearing on my life at all. Not to mention most people do not think about you at all

I have to pay a portion each sitting, so do I also tip each sitting, or wait til the last session and tip big?
