Those aren't combat boots, they're jump boots pr Paratrooper boots.
Which in my opinion look much better than combat. Combats just seem clunky and heavy to me.

damn those are sexy, exactly what I've been looking for actually. Too bad they're kinda expensive.

Pic is what I have now, bought them after someone on /st/ recommended them like 2 years ago.
So don't worry guys some people actually take your advice.

I have some battered as fuck hiking boots and some black Dr Martens 1460s that I've only had for a week, so I'm still in the process of breaking them in. The blisters, 420chan, the blisters!

They look clunky and goofy new, but I love the way they look once they're worn in.

If you dont mind having scars around your ankles for the sake of breaking those boot in, you could just do what i had to do and lose your bus fare a 3 hour walk away from home and just march it. It wasnt so bad for me since it was already like -20C. Those boots ended up being faulty since the soles on both of them cracked within a week, so they sent me another pair. Since i ahd done more breaking of my own feet in than the boots, i could just throw on the replacement pair on and it felt like they were already broken in

been looking for some army boots in this style here that isn't that fucking rothco garbage. dunno if any of you are super familiar with the different styles of combat boots, like jungle, intermediate cold/wet, etc. but these are just regular duty boots afaik. bought some cold/wet boots and they're like fuckin rescue heroes boots, no dice for those unless i'm shoveling my driveway. literally have not been able to find a size 12R in the pictured boot anywhere on the internet. if any of you could help me out that'd be swell.

Can't talk from personal experience, but my kid brother got a pair of Docs with Jake from Adventure Time. He wrecked them in a month.
Although he does have a form of light cerebral palsy and still drags his feet a bit, but that doesn't happen to most of his other shoes.

Were they real docs? Vintage or newer? The newer ones are made in china but I've never had a problem with either.
I wore my old black docs every day for over a year after I got them and still wear them frequently, they were second hand too. They're scuffed but completely intact otherwise.

Not bad on it's own but I'm really not digging the contrast between the olive green and your blue jeans.

IMO if you're going to wear boots with that level of military aesthetic then you may want to invest in pants that look acceptable when bloused/tucked into your boots.

Pic half-related.

I'm historically a DM man. Right now I'm riding out the last few months of my bottle green 1460's. Always look after my boots, but these days (due to the predominantly Asian manufacturing) the quality has dropped in a noticeable way.

I'm looking for something reminiscent of the attached pic, however I don't want 10,000 buckles or stamped inlays fucking everywhere.

Advice /st/?
