Is it possible to add fur to the collar and lapels of a coat like this? Also maybe add some fur around the ends of the sleeves. And if so, where should I go to order some fur?

you should seek out a tailor, or 'alterations' shop. a lot of dry cleaners also do alterations. get on yelp or ask some friends or whatever for a good place. you would probably have to supply the fur though

If I want better epaulettes does a tailor usually do that as well? Without me providing extra fabric for them, I mean.

i dunno lol i mean if they happen to have compatible fabric they may be able to supply it, you have to do some searching on your own of local places

get some vintage-thrift fur coat and cut it up, ethically better imho.
rabbit pelts are cheap tho, and fuzzy and warm, ebay has tons of taxidermists who sell all kinds of weird shit all day.
