Skipping heart beats.

Does anyone else get this? it's called premature atrial/ventricular contractions

I stopped adderall and I'm still getting them. My doctor seem to not worry too much about it but it still makes me feel weird.

Wonder if this fucked up something since it's weeks now without the meds and I'm still feeling my heart skipping beats.

I get 200-300 skipped beats a day. I used to take 20-30mg/day.

I used to get a shit ton of skipped heart beats in college and I found that it was actually not correlated to meth or other drug use. Well I mean stimulants certainly don't help and can cause the occasional skipped beat, but it turns out the main cause of my extreme palpitations (skipped beat every 10 seconds or so) was extreme anxiety about my health. You may not realize it but you're in an extremely anxious and alert state 24/7 where you are anticipating some sort of danger (fight or flight). You can tell you're in this state because any sudden loud noise will cause you to jump.

I recommend chilling out, I know it's harder than me just saying that, but as soon as you stop worrying about your health and stop thinking you're about to die, you'll start to calm down and your palpitations will slowly fade away. I know when I'm more stressed than usual now these days when I start feeling my heart skipping a beat. You live and learn homie.

Hopefully my name/id hasn't changed but this is me again. I said in my original post a skip every 10 seconds but I was exaggerating a bit. If I recall I would get a skipped beat maybe once every minute or two. I hope what I shared was relatable and it helped. They lasted for about 2 weeks before I went to the doctor and he said everything looked fine on the EKG just a lot of skipped beats but that it wasn't life threatening or anything. After that reassurance I calmed down and they went away after a while maybe another week or so they ramped down.

I'm getting them every couple of minutes too. My doctor told me the same thing (that they're not serious) but mine aren't going away and it's been weeks now. It's so strange.

If you don't want skipping heartbeats, potentially yes.

Try ordering some Kava or phenibut and give taking them a try to see if the respiratory depression helps a bit. Don't get physically addicted to the phenibut though, only take it 3-4 times a week with at LEAST a week break before using again.
