Sup /tech/ I'm not sure if this is a subject better suited for you or /vg/ but hopefully some of you can share some experiences. So basically I have used the Razer Goliathus Speed mouse pad for about 2 years. Although it's a great pad, I was really having issues with friction under my mouse (yes I would periodically clean the mat but it never seemed as smooth as it once was) so at the suggestion of my friend, I decided to try out a hard mouse mat. I ended up getting the Corsair MM600 and for the most part, I like it. My problems with friction are obviously gone and I feel like flick shots are a lot easier. Pixel accuracy is still a bit difficult but I've had the pad for almost a week and am hoping I just adjust to it. I do have one issue though, I tend to sometimes spin out (point at the sky) or the tracking will stop short on big swipes. I've read that sometimes the sensor can't keep up with fast movements, however this is a Logitech G Pro mouse I'm using. I also have used the surface tuning in the software (the hard pad preset seems the best). I would like to know if anyone here has had similar experiences and if the problems went away after awhile (maybe breaking the pad in or something). I really don't want to stop using the pad but it is fucking me over a bit in FPS games like Siege or Overwatch. Thank you.
