I saw this and decided to try it as well.I'm creating a homebrew universe for my D&D campaigns. Ask me anything you can think if and I'll give you the answer. If you want to read more about the world before you ask, I'll make some broad points below........This universe is being built of a very grand scale. Even I don't have everything locked down yet, but I've got a decent foothold. There are several planets, and the players will have access to a starship that they will wake up on. After they are woken up, they will quickly realize the ship is failing and they have to fix it. Once they fix the ship, it will be revealed that there is a space station a few light years away(the ship is capable of warp, which I can explain if you'd like. It's not based in real science, but I'm open to suggestions đThere are a few star systems that they can choose to go to at first, provided they become able, and each of those will have several worlds. I have a main storyline planned out, but I can't go too much into detail openly as I have players who might be reading this. No spoilers đThere will be an earth like world that shares similar history and is a slightly futuristic world by our real world standards, but with many of the races of the d&d world. Sharing the same solar system is a traditional d&d like world with much the same history as cannon forgotten realms stories, with some additions and changes. There are many other worlds as well, but I'm sure those will come up if you're curious. I've added some elements to the universe, such as a crystalized form of the Weave known as Arcanyte, a sickness brought on by too much exposure to high levels of magic much like radiation, and a last ditch casting method called Soul-Weave Extortion. There are over 50 playable races for my players, which is probably an overload but I don't care. Most of them are already made and put in legitimate books, or released by Wizards of the Coast but there are some that I've created on my own. There are many other things, but I'll leave you to decide if you want to know more. Thanks for your time, and I'll try to answer any questions as quickly as possible. 25 posts and 1 images omitted. Vandalia World building Q&A View Thread Reply Hide Martha Worthingway - Tue, 09 Jul 2019 18:25:44 EST uvZbLK5l No.29205 File: 1562711144218.jpg -(13258B / 12.95KB, 284x177) Thumbnail displayed, click image for full size. In the Ruins of West Virginia (I began working on this setting in 2017, so dont give me shit because Bethesda stole MY idea dammit) an empire crumbles- that of Vandalia. The reincarnating God-King of Vandalia has yet to be found in his 13th form, and insurrection among the city-states of the Rainforest Kingdom leaves the economy in shambles. In the absence of leadership the ruling authority scrambles to lead their people. Settlements beyond the urban cities are forced to constantly rebuild in the face unrelenting monster and raider attacks. Soon, something is going to give. As a world building exercise for my tabletop setting, I'd love to do some Q&A and try and find questions I didnt think of and answer them, filling in gaps that players might find. Thanks for any help you might give. Mwah. >> Nell Webblecocke - Fri, 12 Jul 2019 00:35:05 EST kHFm3y/Z No.29207 Reply How sexy are the elves? I'm looking for a free, d20 random number generator available in-browser, preferably compatible with Android so I'm not running back and forth from a desktop setup.I came to /tg/ to ask this because I'm paranoid about malware (and rngs that aren't quite so random as I don't cheat. I'm playing against myself for chrissakes.) I'm just low on table space right now. So I'm relying on your expertise, /tg/, what do you use when you don't have a die on you? 2 posts omitted.
