i'm pumped. it looks like a ton of fun. lots of new ideas to play around with. i think i want to build an EDH deck around rashmi (the UG creature that kinda gives the first spell you cast each turn cascade). i'm still holding out for more of an artifact related legendary creature either in UR or URx. (I hope the planeswalker shaheeli being UR doesn't rule out getting a UR legendary creature too)

also, "expeditions" are here to stay.

i did my first draft yesterday. vehicles and energy are a lot more fun than i thought. i really thought they would be dumb gimmicks, but they add a lot of depth. i can see vehicles becoming a regular thing every set (like equipment). energy needs to be a major block theme though, so i don't see it coming back for a while...

I drafted a BR aggro deck and was one win away from 3rd place. the winners drafted bombs like the mythic skyship, a green gearhulk and chandra, so those are just the breaks sometimes.

I did a sealed where I opened Decoction Module, Fabrication Module, and Electrostatic Pummeller and played against a very slow, grindy deck where neither side could break the stalemate for a long time.

It got to the point where Pummeller was an 11/11 and I had 24 energy counters...I could have made it a 2816/2816, but never drew Larger Than Life to give it trample.

Limited is wild in this set.

I'm a huge artifact player. Those modules and that pummeler are OP as fuck. I'm definitely gna have to get some of those to swap out base cards in my infinite mill deck. The same mechanic that sets off the infinite mill will work the same way for the pummeler.

That card wouldn't help any. It's primary focus is to get out Krark-Clan Ironworks and 2 Myr Retrievers as fast as possible, and be able to cast Brain Freeze.

With the two Myr, you sac them one at a time to the Ironworks, and you bring the other Myr to your hand, and then immediately play it, sac it, repeat, as many times as you feel is necessary. Then Brain Freeze. You only need to have one free Island untapped after playing everything since you can just float 2 colorless after sac'ing and not play the last Myr to go for the kill with Brain Freeze instead.

Everything else in the deck is artifact search, spell search, and artifact mana acceleration, some card draw (and some crazy card draw after a while), some counters for control, and four Broodstar for a last resort beat down.

Thoughtcast, Vedalken Archmage, Assert Authority, Fabricate, Override, Mystical Tutor, Vedalken Engineer, Etherium Sculptor, and Machinate.

It's my own build that I made about 5 years ago and have updated a few times to make it more efficient.

I dunno, I mean I know the internet says spells like dark ritual and loads of good commons existed but I only ever saw shit like illusionary forces. I mean sure 4/4 flying for 4 mana. I have to admit power sink was broken as fuck though. That murdered decks that relied on big spells and creatures.
