So we've had Old Spice with the "Gentleman" class (https://twitter.com/oldspice/status/961362988019064832) and we've had Wendy's recently introduce "Feast Of Legends" at NYCC which is an entire ruleset of its own and a clear continuation of sassy Wendy's lashing out at other fast food franchises. (https://www.feastoflegends.com/)

Am I missing any? What do you think about the backlash of people crying about sexist terms or bitching about it being publicity stunts?

Marketing is always a publicity stunt anon, and stupid idiots will always find something to complain about.
I also don´t see anything "sexist" here, wendys chick comes of pretty stronk and is probably the party leader, isnt she? At least theyre not making /tg/ related stuff into something that is only for losers anymore.

Oh, the sexist stuff was the backlash the Old Spice thing got. Lots of people crying about two genders not being enough.

Personally I want to see more of this, if each brand releases their own RPG-themed stuff I can make an entire multiverse setting out of it. KFC just has a dating sim on Steam.

Same here, whacky junkfood adventures sound pretty fun, if Id ever come around to find a party for that. Didnt know about the dating sim though.

Surprisingly extensive, nice. Although knowing the average playerbase of D&D, you'd really have to be lucky to encounter That One Guy who's obsessed with making his character a cooking expert. Would definitely make for nice NPCs, though.

I just made mine a bard with chefs tools proficiency. Stopping for a short rest while she makes you a snack is OP as fuck. She is still a bard though. She just dreams of running a restaurant. A goal she's used adventuring to fund. She's got enough gold now, just needs a bigger market. I guess I'm not that one guy though, I just had a campaign full of miserable tieflings so I wanted a halfling set on spreading joy.

Oh Christ, I love that thought. Half a room full of brooding edgelords interrupted by a cheerful "WHO WANTS CUPCAKES?!"

I think that's the 'dating sim' (guess I got the genre wrong) mentioned earlier with the anime pretty boy Colonel.

I'll take your word for it. Where's my Baskin & Robbins or Haagen Das collectable card game?
