Islam is a billion strong religion of hardcore conservatives. Every opinion polls tells us that the vast, vast majority of Muslims hate gays, have oppressive views about how women should behave, and feel that modern liberal values are toxic.

So why the fuck are so many modern liberals defensive of this demographic, and even the backward ideology that they follow? I just can't accept that this a natural conclusion that people have made. It feels like conditioning to me. I genuinely believe there is a conspiracy behind this. But why? What's the purpose of it?

I've been banned from forums like 420chan just for making this point. I've been called a "stormfronter" for making it. It appears to me that only someone who is very, very deeply conditioned could think that a person criticizing liberals for defending a conservative demographic must, therefore, be part of a highly conservative demographic himself. This kind of doublethink does not come naturally to people.

someone called a brittish news agency 25 minutes before the shooting saying that "there was going to be huge news coming out".
Could this be foreshadowing for the assassination or could kennedy had planned to announce something before they assassinated him?

We also have evidence they were going to blame cuba for the assassination and that they had been in contact with kirby before oswalt was killed and had been warned that oswalt was a target and to protect him and the police were like "we will" and then he gets killed to shut him up.

So what else do we know?

They were essentially a bunch of germans who sought asylum in the usa and when they got there they seen how everyone was super happy and realised that people in america were living without being effected by the history of europe so sought to change it.

Hey guys

I'm browsing youtube and lately I've been seeing more and more suggested videos and ads that are political in some way. From straight up political ads (during election season understandably) to all these stupid idiots star wars videos about SJW moments and leftist this and that. I turn off all suggested advertising and generally have my settings to keep my shit private as much as I can. I know all these big tech companies are using AI in their marketing and advertising research and so on, are AI already trying to brew a war? Of course it could be the people in power using all this media for these reasons (already my theory) but what if it's not even their intention, the AI they're using has already developed it's own idea of how it can take over (with their help)? I'm crazy and I'm not putting much thought into this post, but I think it belongs here as I hope it can spark discussion.

Is AI already trying to sow the seeds of war?

Yeah and it makes life in general seem tougher than it actually is. They also feed in social morality into the "news" with puff pieces.

The astounding coverage of politics makes it seem like not anybody can be a politician. We live in a democracy we need to break out of this idea that the only people who can become politicans are businessmen, bankers and lawyers.

Eight years have passed since Scott Calvin took on the mantle of Santa Claus and became subject to The Santa Clause. Now he has become a great Santa at the North Pole, until Head Elf Bernard and Curtis, the Keeper of the Handbook of Christmas break the news that there is another clause – the "Mrs. Clause".
Scott is now pressed to get married before the next Christmas Eve, or the clause will be broken and he will stop being Santa forever. At the same time, Abby the Elf delivers news that is more distressing: Scott's own son Charlie is on the naughty list. Scott must return to his home to search for a wife and set things right with Charlie. He brings this up when visited by the Council of Legendary Figures consisting of Mother Nature, Father Time, Cupid, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and the Sandman. To cover for Santa's prolonged absence, Curtis helps Santa create a life-size toy replica of Santa, much to Bernard's horror.
Because of the impending end of his contract, Scott undergoes a "de-Santafication process" that gradually turns him back into Scott Calvin. He has a limited amount of magic to help him. Scott returns home to his ex-wife Laura, her husband Neil, their six-year-old daughter Lucy, and Charlie, who Scott realizes has been vandalizing his school to get attention. He and Charlie both face the ire of the school principal Carol Newman when Charlie defaces the lockers.
At the North Pole, Toy Santa follows the rulebook too literally and begins to think that everyone in the world is naughty because of their small mistakes. As a result, Toy Santa takes over the North Pole using giant toy soldiers which he made himself and places Bernard under house arrest. He then unveils his plan to the elves to give lumps of coal to the world.
After a few failed dates, Scott finds himself falling for Carol. He accompanies her in a horse-drawn sleigh to the faculty Christmas party, during which she confesses that she used to believe in Santa as a child, until she was forced to stop doing so by her parents after fighting with children who told her that Santa is not real. Using a little of his Christmas magic, Scott enlivens the otherwise dull party by presenting everyone with their childhood dream gifts. He makes a special presentation to Carol, and, with his last remnant of magic, wins her over and they kiss passionately under mistletoe. However, when Scott attempts to explain to her that he is Santa, she does not believe him, thinking that he is mocking her childhood, and throws him out. After which, Charlie confesses to Scott how hard it is for him that Scott is never around like other fathers, and reveals the pressure he is under to conceal the secret that his father is Santa. Lucy manages to convince Charlie not to be mad at Scott since he is his father, which causes Charlie to convince Carol that his father is Santa by showing her his magic snowglobe.
Curtis flies in to deliver the news about the Toy Santa's plan. However, Scott has used up the last of his magic wooing Carol, and cannot return to the North Pole. With a little help from the Tooth Fairy, Scott and Curtis manage to do so, only for Toy Santa to find them and tie them up, but Charlie and Carol spring him free by summoning the Tooth Fairy to fly them to the North Pole. Scott goes after the Toy Santa, who has already left with the sleigh, riding Chet, a reindeer-in-training, and they both crash back into the village. With an army of elves, Carol, Bernard, Charlie and Curtis lead them into a snowball fight to overthrow the toy soldiers. Toy Santa is defeated and reduced to a six-inch height, Scott marries Carol in a ceremony, Scott transforms back to Santa, and Christmas proceeds as it always has. In addition, Scott and Charlie reveal the truth to Lucy about Scott being Santa Claus and she cannot tell anyone about his secret, but that it's more of a gift than a burden.

The cast members of the canceled space-adventure television series Galaxy Quest spend most of their days attending fan conventions and promotional stunts. Though the series' former lead star Jason Nesmith thrives on the attention, the other cast members Gwen DeMarco, Alexander Dane, Fred Kwan and Tommy Webber resent Nesmith's irresponsible, self-serving attitude.
During a convention, Nesmith is approached by a group calling themselves Thermians, led by Mathesar, who request his help; believing this to be for a promotional appearance, he agrees to be picked up the next morning. Nesmith is unaware that the Thermians are really aliens using human holographic disguises. Nesmith is hung over when he is picked up, and falls asleep as they take him through space to an actual functional version of the NSEA Protector, the starship from Galaxy Quest. Still unaware of his situation, Nesmith proceeds to give orders as captain, directing them to attack General Sarris who seeks to eliminate the Thermians. Only when Nesmith is transported back to Earth does he realize that the ship is real.
Nesmith eagerly explains the events of the previous day to his cast members, but they consider it part of his drunken ramblings. When Laliari, another Thermian, appears and requests Nesmith's help further, he convinces the cast, including Guy Fleegman, who appeared as a redshirt character in an episode, to join him. Once aboard the Protector, they are astonished by the ship, and have trouble with the controls, as the Thermians built the ship exactly to the show's specifications but do not know how to operate it. When Sarris attacks again, the actors evade him by driving the Protector through the Tothian Minefield, taking heavy damage and disabling their Beryllium Sphere.
The humans take a shuttle to a nearby planet to obtain a new beryllium sphere, narrowly escaping its hostile native lifeforms. Upon returning to the ship, they find that Sarris has taken over the Protector. Sarris discovers that the Thermians, having no understanding of the concept of fiction, interpreted Galaxy Quest as a documentary, and Nesmith is forced to explain to a devastated Mathesar that they are actors and the show is not real. Sarris has the ship's core hardwired to overload and leaves a sacrificial guard aboard while he returns to his ship. Nesmith and Dane use a tactic from the show to overpower their guards and free the other humans. While the cast and the Thermian crew make repairs and familiarize themselves with the ship, Nesmith and DeMarco travel through the bowels of the Protector to shut off the core implosion sequence, guided from Earth via a misplaced Thermian communicator by superfan Brandon and his friends, who possess detailed knowledge of the ship and the show.
With the ship repaired and the Thermians fighting the remaining soldiers, Nesmith leads the Protector in a daring maneuver to attack Sarris' ship with the magnetic mines, destroying it. The crew prepares to head home through a black hole, leaving Mathesar in command, with Nesmith giving him confidence in himself and his crew. Suddenly Sarris, who had teleported onto the Protector just before his ship was destroyed, appears on the bridge and attacks them, killing the crew. Nesmith activates the Omega-13, a plot device from the show that reverses time by 13 seconds, and this time knocks Sarris out when he first appears. However, in the scuffle, the ship has traveled too close to Earth, and Mathesar informs them that they must separate the ship or die. The cast say their goodbyes, though Laliari, who has fallen in love with Kwan, goes with the cast while the Thermians head to the secondary deck.
The command module is flung back to Earth, but the cast have no indication of where to land, so they home in on Brandon's communicator at the convention center, where the convention is still ongoing, crash-landing and breaking through the wall into the auditorium. The crew exit the still-smoking module to cheers from the fans, who assume it is part of a stunt. Sarris emerges from the ship and attempts to fire on the cast, but Nesmith vaporizes him, to wild applause from the audience.
Some time later, Galaxy Quest: The Journey Continues has been produced. The theme song plays as the credits are shown, this time with the additions of Fleegman and Laliari under the alias of "Jane Doe" to the show.

Michael Cromwell (Tim Allen) is a self-absorbed, successful commodities broker living in New York City. Wanting to marry his new fiancée Charlotte (Lolita Davidovich), he needs to obtain a final divorce from his first wife Patricia (JoBeth Williams) who left him some years earlier. Patricia now lives with a semi-Westernised tribe in Canaima National Park, Venezuela. Michael travels there to get her signature on divorce papers, but upon arriving, discovers that he has a 13-year-old son named Mimi-Siku (Sam Huntington).
Michael attempts to bond with Mimi-Siku in his brief stay with the tribe and promises to take him to New York "when he is a man." Michael is also given a new name, Baboon, as is a custom in the tribe. That night, Mimi-Siku undergoes the traditional rite of passage of his tribe, who then considers him to be a man. The tribal elder gives Mimi a special task: to become a tribal leader one day, Mimi must bring fire from the Statue of Liberty and he looks forward to traveling with his father. Against his own protests, Michael brings Mimi-Siku to New York with him. Michael works as a trader at the World Trade Center in building 7.
Michael's fiancée, Charlotte, is less than pleased about the unexpected visitor in a loin cloth outfit, who tries to urinate in front of her at a fake tree (as is usual in his tribe), suggests eating her cat, and Maitika, his enormous pet tarantula escapes from his box and into her apartment. Mimi-Siku wears traditional dress during much of his stay in New York. As Michael attempts to adapt Mimi-Siku to city life, cross-cultural misunderstandings occur when Mimi-Siku reverts to customs considered acceptable by his tribe. On climbing the Statue of Liberty to reach the flame, Mimi-Siku is disappointed when he sees that the fire is not real.
While staying at the home of Michael's partner Richard Kempster (Martin Short), Mimi-Siku falls in love with Richard's daughter Karen (Leelee Sobieski). He paints her face and gives her a new name, Ukume, as is the custom in his tribe. Richard resents Mimi's presence in his home due to his influence over Karen and because he cooked and ate his valuable, prize-winning Poecilia latipinna fish. Richard then freaks out when he sees his daughter and Mimi together in a hammock and threatens to send her to an all-girls summer camp. "First dibs on Ukeme's room", says Karen's wisenheimer brother Andrew.
The Kempsters and Michael are later targeted by Alexei Jovanovic (David Ogden Stiers), a Schooln mobster and caviar dealer, who believes that they have cheated him in a business deal. Jovanovic arrives at the Kempsters' and tortures Richard for info. Since he refuses, he tries to amputate Richard's fingers in revenge. By fighting together and utilizing Mimi-Siku's hunting skills (and Maitika), the two families fight off Jovanovic's group.
Mimi-Siku returns to the Amazon jungle, but before he leaves, his father gives him a satellite phone so they can stay in touch. Michael also presents Mimi with a Statue of Liberty cigarette lighter, which produces fire from the torch and will fulfill Mimi's quest. In return, Mimi gives his father a blowpipe and poisoned darts, telling Michael to practice and come to see him when he can hit flies.
Shortly afterwards, Michael finds himself disheartened by the rat-race and realizes that his relationship with Charlotte is not working for him anymore. He attempts to kill a fly with his blowpipe on the trading floor of the New York Board of Trade. He hits the fly, but also Langston, his boss, who collapses asleep on the trading floor.
Michael returns to Lipo-Lipo to see his son and ex-wife, bringing the Kempster family with him for a vacation. Karen and Mimi are reunited, and it is suggested that Michael and Patricia also resume their relationship.
As the credits start rolling, Michael undergoes the rite of passage as Mimi did earlier.

After Riverside, Illinois couple Luther (Tim Allen) and Nora Krank (Jamie Lee Curtis) see their daughter, Blair (Julie Gonzalo), depart for a Peace Corps assignment in Peru on the Sunday following Thanksgiving, empty nest syndrome sets in. Luther calculates the couple spent $6,132 during the previous year's holiday season and, not looking forward to celebrating Christmas without their daughter, he suggests they invest the money usually spent on decorations, gifts, and entertainment and treat themselves to a ten-day Caribbean cruise instead. Skeptical at first, Nora finally agrees under the condition that they still give a donation to the church and Children's Hospital. Luther tries to refuse but finally agrees and they begin planning the trip.
The Kranks are amazed to discover they are considered pariahs as a result of their decision. Luther's co-workers think he has become Ebenezer Scrooge when he gives all his employees letters that state about his Christmas boycott, local stationer Aubie is distressed to lose the couple's order for their engraved greeting cards and Christmas Eve party invitations, the Boy Scout troop is upset and angered when the Kranks refuse to purchase one of their Christmas trees to help the scouts make enough money for a camporee, and the police are stunned to discover they won't be buying this year's calendar from them. Most vocal in their objections are neighbors Vic Frohmeyer (Dan Aykroyd) and Walt Scheel (M. Emmet Walsh). Vic, who's the unelected leader of the street, organizes a campaign to force the Kranks to decorate their home so Hemlock Street won't lose the coveted award for best decorations. Vic has political and bureaucratic connections in Chicago. Walt doesn't seem to like Luther, so his efforts are primarily personal. However, it is revealed that Walt's wife Bev is suffering from cancer, perhaps dampening his holiday spirits. Children picket, led by Vic's son Spike (Erik Per Sullivan), neighbors constantly call, and Christmas carolers try to revive the Kranks' holiday spirit by singing on their lawn, which Luther stops by freezing his front lawn. Even the newspaper gets into the act by publishing a front page story complete with a photograph of the unlit Krank house and states that the Kranks' street has lost the prize and won sixth place because of how Luther and Nora refused to decorate their house. Still, Luther and Nora continue to stand their ground.
The two are in the process of packing on Christmas Eve morning when they receive a call from Blair, who announces she's at Miami International Airport, en route home with her Peruvian fiancé as a surprise for her parents. She's anxious to introduce Enrique to her family's holiday traditions, and when she asks if they're having their usual party that night, a panicked Nora says yes. Comic chaos ensues as the couple finds themselves trying to decorate the house and coordinate a party with only twelve hours to spare before their daughter and future son-in-law arrive.
While Nora scrambles to find food, especially Blair's favorite honey glazed ham ("Mel's Hickory Honey Ham"), Luther goes to buy a tree from the Boy Scouts but they only have one worthless non-green tree left since their sales went big and rapid. Luther decides to give a donation by giving them money but taking the tree in the process; he then rejects it by throwing it in his backyard. While Spike leads a picket at the Kranks', Luther arranges to borrow the tree of neighbor Wes Trogdon (who is going away for a week with his kids and wife to close relatives) being given the warning that he is not to break one ornament or damage it. Luther and Spike try to transport it across the street on Spike's Radio Flyer wagon, only for the neighbors to confuse this with Luther stealing the family's Christmas tree and end up calling for the police to arrest him for theft. Spike comes to Luther's rescue by showing the neighbors and officers that Luther has Trogdon's keys and thus was given permission to borrow the tree. Nora comes home enraged at Luther for making the borrowed Christmas tree a "Disaster" and how she had to buy "Smoked Trout" to replace the honey ham (which was crushed by a truck). Once it is established why Luther is trying frantically to decorate his home, the neighbors, led by Vic, come out full force to help him and Nora ready it for …

After ten years of marriage, New York City millionaire socialite couple Brad (Allen) and Caroline Sexton (Alley) are miserable and have decided to call it quits. Their marital problems come to a head earlier that evening when Brad turns their 10th anniversary party into a real estate development pitch for a theme park he calls "The Holy Land", modeled after Biblical lore. The pitch turns disastrous when one of the display's special effects catches a guest's (who happens to be a federal judge) dress on fire.
At the same time, Brad's accountant, Bob Lachman (Wayne Knight), is stealing the Sextons' millions through mismanagement and filing false tax returns. His money manipulation has caught the attention of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and field agent Frank Hall (Miguel A. Núñez Jr.), demands to meet Bob and Brad the following morning to bring the obligations up to date and settle the missing $5,000,000.
Bob arrives at the office early the following morning with a file box (likely the incriminating paperwork that could land him in jail), but leaves before Brad arrives. Though he doesn't get out in time, he manages to finally evade Brad and Hall, who has just shown up.
Hearing a hint from Bob that the Sextons could be fleeing (Brad told him about the Sextons' impending divorce), Hall orders the freezing of all their assets. Brad is unable to access his money through an ATM and Caroline has her credit card destroyed at her table as she's having lunch with some friends. Brad is then informed that his accounts have been frozen, but the bank teller refuses to tell him why. At first he thinks Caroline is responsible, until he gets Bob on the phone, who tells him that he himself is the cause of their newfound problems as he's headed for the airport.
Gung-ho IRS Inspector Derek Lester (Larry Miller) joins Hall to serve the warrant and bring in the Sextons. As Brad exits the bank (trying to chase down his Jaguar XK8 being towed), Hall and Lester surround him at a bull statue on Wall Street. Brad takes out his new satellite phone to answer a call, but the trigger-happy Lester mistakes it for a gun and pulls out his own pistol, shooting it out of Brad's hand, much to Hall's chagrin.
Brad flees on foot, steals a cab and happens to pick up Caroline. The Sextons get away from Hall and Lester and the NYPD (who apprehend the agents for reckless pursuit) and leave New York. They crash the cab into a muddy swamp and are forced to spend that night sleeping rough, covered in mud. The next day, they find themselves in Intercourse, Pennsylvania, a small Lancaster County-area community of Old Order Amish. Brad drops in on a conversation and after stealing some clothes, they masquerade as Jacob and Emma Yoder, a family's (also named Yoder) expected cousins from Missouri. Samuel and Levinia (Jay O. Sanders and Megan Cavanagh), along with their sons and daughters, make the pair at home.
The pair try to fit in, and while Brad manages to adjust well, the glamorous and spoiled prima donna Caroline, deprived of her cigarettes, fine clothes, makeup and other creature comforts, throws various childlike tantrums when she and Brad are alone. This gets noticed by Levinia and Samuel, who chalk it up to the pair having marital difficulties. Brad decides to try and relate better to Caroline after a talk from Samuel about how each day, no matter how bleak, is a gift of life from God. Gradually, both learn to fit in through their own abilities. Brad with his knowledge of real estate values, helps Samuel's future son-in-law Henner buy a plot of land, and Caroline's knowledge of fashion helps their conservative ordnung relax their colorless dress code.
The Sextons then rediscover why they fell in love in the first place, largely through their efforts of helping others rather than themselves. As Samuel and Levinia's daughter Rebecca is exchanging vows with Henner, the ceremony is interrupted by police and a drenched Hall and Lester, who crashed into the stolen cab. The Sextons are exposed and hauled back to New York to face trial. Brad's attorney Phil Kleinmann (Michael Lerner) informs them that he found Bob in Zurich and had him extradited back to America. A resisting Bob is then hauled into the courtroom by uniformed officers to face the Sextons. Bob confesses, and while Brad thanks him for saving his(Brad's) and Caroline's marriage, he still punches him in retr…
