So, I've been trying to sign up with Camel and Marlboro to get coupons. For some reason, they can't ~verify my identity~.. I'm in my late 20s, provided my full name and driver's license info. None of my friends have had this problem, and they get coupons every few weeks. I'm a bit bitter...
Anyone else had this problem? I'm just a broke bitch trying to get $2 off a pack of decent menthols, what do I have to provide? My non-existent first born?

Anyone like these? I just recently switched to them from Camel Turkish Jades because they're like $2 cheaper a pack right now. They remind me of Marlboro Smooths with the distinct string MINTYNESS versus just a plain menthol. They're a lighter cigarette than Smooths though, so not as harsh on the throat after a few.

I'm a sucker for packaging too, and it's just so cool. Peak marketing right there.

it's 100% his mind.
OP if smoking did so much damage to your body to the point you have ED, you're a 80 year old old man. not a 24 yo smoker. your circulation is so bad at that point you barely live. that's not the case.
listen man. you mightve been stressed, shit was goin down in your life or something, so you had ED one time, out of psychological reasons. totally normal. however, you convinced yourself at that point, that you have ED because of smoking, and you still smoke, so now the psychological ED is permanent. You made it that way.
OP there is nothing wrong with your dick. Just chill out and believe me it is impossible to have smoking induced ED at the age of 24.

It's more likely you smoked yourself gay as apposed to ED.

I quit cigarettes for 1.5 years by vaping.
I KNEW I was done with cigs because the times I had quit before, the scent of smoke combined with me being at a bar where I could bum a cigarette would make me cave after a month or two. After vaping, the scent of it just disgusted me and I wanted nothing to do with it.
Then I went through a divorce and started smoking nearly a pack a day, way more than I ever did. *shrug*
My advice is stay strong, and remember WHY you want to quit during those tempting times. It's not all or nothing, if you fuck up and bum a few smokes from someone during a bad night, whatever. Tomorrow is a new day and you can keep on track.

Major protip: Mark10, Vuse, all of those ecig companies send out coupons like "get a starter kit or several refill cartridges for $1!" My boyfriend always gets those and gives them to me. Sign up for those. They are much less clunky than a vape setup and it feels more natural to hold it, so you can slowly wean off of cigarettes without going into full "vape LYFE BRO" mode.

Chewing tobacco DIY

I happen to really enjoy the occasional loose leaf chewing tobacco. Loose leaf chews like redman or levi are the majority of what i have had.

I also just ordered some Plug from northerner because I've never had that and its impossible to find where i live.

Anyway. I know most production "loose leaf chew" is pretty sweetened, probably adding to that raisin taste. And i dont want that level of sweet. (Starr by swisher is by far the most disgusting chew i have ever had, it tastes sweet like a jolly rancer and has minimal tobacco taste)

SO my main question is what tips or tricks some Anons here might know for making chewing tobacco from whole leaf tobacco.

The site i'll probably order from is leafonly - (SELLS (american) DIY TOBACCO LEAF TAX FREE)

And i've read a few online tutorials, which are basically just one of 2 methods rewritten over and over in different forms/blogs

Method1:
1.Rinse Leaves (more through than if just smoking)
2.Spray with a light coating of water + molasses/honey/sugar
3.let dry if too wet
4. Twist it, plug it, cut it up with scissors, FINISHED
???5.??? let it age????

Method2
1,2,3,4 Basically you boil water and sugar/honey/molasses with sugar and then add cut up tobacco leaves and boil the water off

any comments/questions welcome.

CA Smoker here.

After the recent price increase, it's impossible to find a pack of cigarettes under $11 dollars in my area. I've tried everywhere, gas stations, 7/11, shitty convenience stores, high end convenience stores, drug stores that still sell cigarettes.

Is there actually any legit place to buy online or are they all fucking scam websites? All the ones I can find are all scam websites according to everything else I've read about them.

I would still hit it tbh.
OP, do you have "tobacco outlets" where you live or is that a Midwest thing? There's a few by me by short drive, they sell for about $1 a pack less on average than gas stations, and you don't have to buy two packs at a time to even get that "deal" convenience stores do.
They're also really fun too. The one I like to go to had ~$40ish cartons of Camels, tons of vape stuff and glass (illegal state) and they're always in there just smoking and partying. It looks so sketchy. There's a sign on the door that says to never use your cell phone in the store. They will ban you if you pull it out. Sketchy af, but I'm not dead yet and I like the cheap cigs when I can run to that side of town.

Is /tobacco/ dead because people don't use tobacco products that much anymore?

How unsafe is tobacco really? Does anyone heard pf someone somking 2-3 cigarettes daily and still have cancer/emphysema/ losing teeth?

Why was small tobacco industry devoured by big corporations?

Pic related what I started smoking nearly thirteen years ago.

you should be fine as far as teeth go but if you smoke 3 cigarettes daily for a long, long time it will still make you sick (maybe), but then again lots of people smoke their entire life and are completely fine.

People continue to use tobacco. I think smoking as a whole is getting to not be as popular. but it's not the reason this board is slow, it has always been this way.

Tobacco can be really unsafe depending on how it is manufactured and consumed. Nicotine is a pesticide, very toxic in it's pure form. The more you smoke the more you put yourself at risk, but there's people that don't smoke that still get lung cancer.

Big tobacco ate small tobacco because government regulations. Tobacco is heavily taxed.

This towering giant of tobacco engineering does not get nearly enough love.

>fine cut for a big nicotine hit
>top shelf taste, a mixture of smokey tobacco with geranium and perhaps rose
>heavily fermented, sweet leaf
>receipt goes back 200 years

I like a good cig, I like a cigar, I love nasal snuff, but as far as dip goes, this is undoubtedly the king.

the best people i've ever met in my life, the most decent honest people, the only ones who weren't bullshit charlatans, have been people i've met amongst the lonely loser outcasts at "the smoking area"
i quit cigaraettes to focus on weed and crack smoking a couple years ago. i couldn't handle all the smoke, but i miss you. having been away from the smoking area for so long i've begun to get the idea that the people at the smoking area are actually the only decent people on this planet. i'm thinking about switching to strictly weed edibles so i can get back with you folks, but i know i'll miss that dank stank&smoke even if i get to get high by eating the stuff.

You could always pick up a pipe. You don't inhale and can still get buzzed with the right blends, and it's such a hassle managing moisture levels and with the smoking session taking up to an hour a bowl you can't really make a habit out of it since you have to plan ahead alot when you're still a novice piper. But then when you smoke, you really smoke.

I just pass by at times, since pipe stuff isn't that regular. But now that I think about it you're right, this is pretty much the only place I've seen where people never lose their shit and don't talk out their asses. Just helpful people sharing what they know and like.

Wish you the best.

Just for Christmas this year my girlfriend bought me a Capri tobacco pipe and two kinds of tobacco. I quit cigarettes a few weeks ago and have been on the patch to cull my withdraw but I must say pipe smoking has done the best job at keeping me from ever wanting a cigarette again!

I've also come to find out it's the least harmful way to ingest tobacco according to the surgeons general your chances of getting cancer from it are about the same as someone who is subjected to second hand smoke. Now I'm not trying to squander other mediums of ingesting tobacco or nicotine for that matter. To each their own but if you haven't tried pipe smoking I recommend it. Also i thought I'd start a pipe smoking general thread. I apologize in advanced if there is one already.

Cheers /tobacco/

I have an oom paul I tried walking around with once actually, still no deal. Just as well, I've associated having a pipe with a nice sit down and a cup of tea by now so walking around with it just seems like a bother now. And I don't like to draw attention to myself anyway, pipes aren't very usual anymore. I'd hate the stares.

Also just have to share, just got a gift from the past in a way. Got a big bag of cheap bulk that had gotten good reviews, but it always bit when I sampled it in the past no matter what I did. But now a few years later it's quieted down. Lancers Slices. Just virginia and latakia in huge flakes, but now after the years of sitting its gotten really sweet and the latakia mellowed, so it's just like some kind of slightly salty and smoky caramel. I'm so glad I didn't give it away or toss it to make space.

I've tried pipe smoking once or twice. It was very nice, flavourful. I don't remember much about the nicotine/alkaloid hit though.

When I have some form of steady income, I may diversify. Thing is, I've gotten my consumption of smoked tobacco down to ~40 cigarettes per year, +/- 10 using vaping as a substitute, and while I'm always swimming in smokeless tobacco I don't keep tobacco prepared for smoking around as I can't keep myself away from it all the time like I can the smokeless forms.

Currently puffing on some Kong Frederik Mellow Blend, Danish tobacco. Wonderful stuff; the pipe is a meditation tool, no doubt. A good pilsner, a weed edible, and a pipe; a day well-encapsuled. Praise the Lord.
