What other herbs are there you can smoke that work on the para sympathetic nervous system etc like nicotine does. I remember one that had simular effects to tobacco but dont remember its name. Or what other herbs are there that contain nicotine without the poisonous cancer bullshit tobacco has?

Except it isn´t like that, it´s burning and inhaling any kind of smoke on a regular basis that will increase cancer risk. Oral tobacco is because of how it´s treated. Snuff is essentially mostly harmful because of the effects of nicotine.
Read a study about a town with less modern heating that still primarily used fireplaces for house warming, and they essentially had the same risks as all-day-smokers because of all the chimney smoke constantly in the air.

It´s not the plant, it´s what you do with it.
If you want nicotine without the cancer just buy nic gums or go for snuff.

Sometimes tobacco contains the radioactive element Polonium 210 as it's naturally occuring. Dipping tobacco contains nitrosamines because of how it's treated as you said, and cadmium from what I understand. Carbon monoxide will always be poisonous and harmful to the health. Nicotine itself is a vasoconstrictor and puts stress on the heart.

I grew Nicotinia Rustica for a bit this year. It is great because you can just keep a small plant alive (it doesn't have to be thriving) and you can rub it whenever you want for a nice Nicotine buzz. No additives, No burning, No middleman, No money. Just me and my plants :)

I pinch it with my finger and thumb lightly on one hand and move the hand up and down the stem, which is usually coated in resin. Just a light touch on a couple of fingers usually is enough to give you the buzz.

It takes out some of the enjoyable parts for sure but nothing is more enjoyable than being self sufficient in something

the resin is also a lot more potent if you allow the plant to flower, it will reflect in the taste of the smoke & the yield of the plant in terms of leaf but the flowers make the plant produce more of a different kind of Nicotine, that's more potent than the Nicotine pre flower. Could be bro science but my experience has matched this.

Betel nut works on nicotinic receptors, but I wouldn't know how to aquire such things in the west though.

Betel nut can be found through online suppliers but the only product I purchased was dried and so hard it was impossible to use it for consumption.

I remember they usually can be found being sold out of Thailand and India.
