Vaping health damage by Basil Crongerlet - Wed, 06 Jul 2016 09:26:05 EST ID:XYn3oUwq No.2732 Ignore Report Reply Quick Reply

Let's have an honest discussion - Fuck the media, Fuck the studies, Fuck the information war.

I want to hear from fellow vapers, any downsides to their health they have experienced from vaping. Don't bring the whole "e cig vs smoking" comparison. I want to chat about vaping.

Been vaping for a year now, no smoking. I am sure my breathing is a bit heavy, my sense of smell is probably a bit dulled and generally when I vape a lot I feel like my throat isn't clear. Also I reckon nicotine leaves me feeling a bit.... Lethargic.

We are all friends here, we all vape. Let's talk honest and openely. If you are adamant that you experience no ill health, then you are either ignorant or don't vape enough. Which would be the same thing I'd say to a guy when they say weed is harmless (as a stoner for many years of my life, I feel qualified to make such an accusation)

Pic attached is me blowing a cloud rigght before this post. Stay cool dudes :)

I was smoking 2 packs a day before i switched to vaping. I notice i breathe easier, feel overall healthier, and as someone who is especially susceptible to bronchitis, habe not had an episode since. What i have noticed is, when i smoke weed or have been vaping heavy for a few hours, i usually get a good wad of phlegm to spit out. I also have more nicotine cravings than i did as a smoker, probably due to the fact that im able to vape basically all day.

The real biggest issue ive found so far is that the vg in vapor fogs up windows, and it is a real bitch to get off. It just smears, and gets worse and worse until youre driving at night through a kaleidoscope.

Nicotine is a stimulant, effective enough to be used by some gym goers.
Is it possible your lethargy is due to the increased breathing difficulty?

>Nicotine is frequently used for its performance-enhancing effects on cognition, alertness, and focus.

So who wants to discuss juices you vape?

I've been mixing my own juice for over a year now, mostly VG and just simple stuff, around 9mg nicotine. I decided to treat myself today since after mt baker vapor sent me a german chocolate beefcake sample I loved it. I ordered the whole gwar line (bloodbath, jizmoglobin, spew, gwary4, and german chocolate beefcake).

Anyone have experience with those flavors? Anyone else mix their own using mt baker vapor? Any good flavors you'd recommend? I also got pumpkin pie which I'm kinda excited to try out.

After a year and a half of vaping I always seem to come back to unicorn blood. The flavor is sweet. Almost like those cherries they have at bars that I can't remember the name of and am too lazy to google. A few different companies make this flavor. Some are definitely better than others but the shop closest to me makes it themselves and there's is the best. I wish I could find it without the red coloring as its somehow starting to stain my teeth and I kinda look like a vampire anyways.

The Beard 32 is another I come back to. I've gotten a few bottles that were off that put me off of it for a while. But if you like cinnamon you can't do much better.

Redd's Apple is one I've just discovered. Love that shit but its getting old as it only comes in a 60 ml bottle.

There's so many I've had where it tasted fantastic in the shop but after finishing a tank I have no desire to use any more unless I'm out of the ones mentioned above. I've got about a dozen bottles of these floating around my house.

I'm losing it today. Filled my tank 4 times with 4 different juices. Nothing tastes good or satisfying to me this morning. I don't wanna buy any more because I have already bought so many kinds of juice over the last month and still have one more order on the way arriving next week.

I can't get enough of Vaporham Lincoln's Young Napoleon (Strawberry shortcake w/ whipped cream). I've been ADVing it for a minute now and I'm on my 3rd 120ml bottle. Still as tasty as ever. Their Baja Blast juice is also spot-on and so delicious. I also have been fucking with an amazing sour watermelon candy flavor from Golden State Vapor. Tastes like a bag of sour patch.

>>3102
>Currently vaping Bebe by Centerfold Vapes. It's a pumpkin cream. Not heavy on the spice at all. It's like licking pumpkin cream cheese frosting.
That was on sale and I grabbed a 120ml bottle because it had great reviews and sounded tasty. I finally get it and drip some and it tastes like fucking splenda sweetener, popcorn butter, and a vague canned pumpkin mush. So incredibly disappointing and disgusting since I've enjoyed other flavors by CVC (though they all seem to be loaded with artificial sweeteners). This one actually tasted like straight sweetener though, like if you opened a little baggie of Sweet n Low and just ate it. Even worse is that the taste clings to the coil/wick too so I had to rewick and all that and I still get a hint of it. I don't know if it was an off batch or whatever, but I'm not buying from CVC anymore. Not worth it even when it's on sale.

Hey guys,
I'm new to mixing my own juice, so I want to ask you for some advices. Now I have bought 200ml of 80VG/20PG 6mg/ml base and a flavor. How many drops should I put in 100ml? On the box there is recommended amount 2~3% of flavor in 50/50 base, but I think it's too little. And how long should I let the base rest? Thanks for any other advices!

I don't have any single coil RDAs, however I really enjoy the Goon RTA which has a plastic cap to block the airflow on the coil not in use, and the SJMY kayfun v5 clone though I've had problems with dry hits so I think I've been wicking it improperly.

I got both the narDA and hadaly clone. I recommend the NarDA over the hadaly. Both are great in terms of performance/flavor, but the hadaly has one of the most frustrating build decks and won't be able to handle any thicker wires or mildly complicated builds. The coil ends keep slipping out from the clamps. I don't know why they decided to design it like that. It's ridiculously stupid and impractical. The narDA is basically perfect if you like a slightly restricted draw, straightforward and effective design, and ballin ass flavor.

dude... this falls directly into the center of "DO NOT WANT" lands.

a friend i once had the quirky notion to fill a bong's chamber with liquor, smoke some weed through it, then drink the booze to see if we made a faint dirty version of green dragon.

let me tell you, that inhalation was the most pain my lungs have ever felt. and i've inhaled some bad shit either intentionally or accidentally in my life. ive worked near toxic chemicals, smoked a cig backwards while fucked up and smoked the whole filter before noticing, none of it is a thing at all compared to how it felt. it felt like every molecule of air gases was replaced with FIRE and KNIVES, each little alveoli was screaming in agony. my lungs hurt for like 3 hours afterward. adding heat to the mixture? sweet mother of jesus. alcohol already evaporates at room temp, so just the mild fumes i got was so torturous. i can only imagine heating the liquid to evaporate at a faster rate would exponentially increase the agony experienced by the inhaler.

you are warned, do as you wish

I work for the UK's biggest vape retailer (measured by number of shops), and we have more Kangertech products (particularly tanks) returned with faults than EVERY OTHER HARDWARE MANUFACTURER COMBINED

Also if it does matter to anyone reviews say their 200 watt claim is bull shit. All things considered though it's still a nice piece of equipment. There's a rebuildable section for your tank that will save you a bunch of money in the long run. Just get a spool of wire that can fit it(I'd suggest 24g kanthal) anf wrap your own coils.

Have to agree, stay away guys. Had the deck of a RDA arrive cross threaded, and couldn't disassemble. Tried contacting KangerTech. They have no phone, email, or im support. You can only contact them over Skype. The internet company I bought the tank from told me to contact Kanger for a replacement, and KangerTech told me the replacement part is so expensive due to shipping, they asked me to purchase a new tank instead.

Didn't want to make a new thread, so I thought I'd ask here.
I've been using a Kanger Topbox mini kit for the last year or so and It has worked great for me so far.
However recently I started having this problem where my drags are incredibly weak on my tank unless I unscrew the top and let some air in. Then it vapes at full power again but gradually weakens till I have to open the top again.
It's definitely a problem with the tank, but I don't know what it is exactly. Could it be the O-rings on my tank or something worse?

I've used a few Kangers and the only time I've had leakage problems was when I would build the coil and use too little cotton. Though I remember trying one of their pen-style e-cigs and those coils just wouldn't last very long like you said. Maybe a week at most. That's the main reason why I went into rebuildables too.

The Kanger mods just feel like they are much higher quality. I am extremely happy with my Nano and can't wait for my 160 DRIPBOX tomorrow. I've never had an issue with leaking. Still, the Alien is one of the best on the market right now but I'd get the G-Priv Touch Screen if you have the money to spend. I'll probably get both it and the Alien as my next mods.

ive used kanger for a while, i recently stopped. I had a subox and it was pretty much just a total year of nonsense, coils wouldn't fire or wouldn't fire properly, menu would malfunction, sometimes wouldn't even fire at all for no reason (fault protection was shit and would go off even when nothing was wrong)

Vaping oils is dangerous because when vaped they form substance that stick to your lungs leading to pneumonia. That being said, everything in moderation right? You could simply add a drop to your favorite juice and shake it, heat it on a warming pad or hot water for a few minutes. Oil is going to easily fall into solution in glycerin they're both very nonpolar.

Scratch that I'm stupid, glycerin and glycol are polar. But I still find them able to mix a small amount of oil (read a couple drops) after heating and shaking the mixture.
