VAPE HATERS by Charles Pullerman - Tue, 27 Oct 2015 05:09:46 EST ID:WADK1kPy No.738 Ignore Report Reply Quick Reply

Now I am not talking about all the reasons listed in the image I am more reffereing to the online flaming of vapers. There seems to be a whole world of trendy peeps with vapes talking clouds and thinking they are superior of which I am not familiar at least over here in Europe. I find the dedicated vapers here to be pretty cool normal people who just want a smoking alternative.
What is this underclass culture that is bringing down the hate that I am not aware of?

i agree with your picture on everything BUT the children part.

i 'm sorry but it's a true problem, now i see underage kids raving about how their vape taste like cola or bubblegum, it was kinda revolting but kids have ALWAYS been smoking so eh, not a lot of change.

I hate vaping because of the attitudes of those who I see vaping. I see it as just another vice that is being spun into being cool. However, I'm not here to judge any of you. Some people feel it's a healthy alternative to smoking, and that's good for them. If it helps you, great.

I live with people that vape, and whatever you want to call that smoke, ruins my eyes. It stings every time that I'm home. They've used many different flavors, all of them smell putrid to me. That is a real reason to hate vaping.

The one on the right with the glass bubble looks like it might do concentrate. Though I don't know your pen's temperature control. If you do try it, I recommend the lowest voltage setting it has, like around 3.2 to 3.5 on the dial if it go that low.

Before you try it. I do recommend you go to either Source Vapes website or some other known Concentrate Vape pen site and look at their atomizers to make sure that the atomizer on your pen is the same or at least very similar to the standard concentrate pens being sold.
If it's the same atomizer as any of these pens known for smoking concentrate then you may have a good chance at successfully smoking it with concentrate (bho).

The white pen on the left looks like a normal vape pen for PG/VG. I could be wrong. It may be a goo pen as you say for bho mixed with a liquid. Actually upon closer look in the photo it seems to have brown sludge inside the white pen, so it's likely bho liquid goop.

I'd stick with the glass bubble pen on the right for smoking hard bho.

Hi /vape/, first thread in this board. I come with some noob questions. I have a mechanical smok r80 TC (goes up to 80w and has temperature control).
Now, the questions:
-What's a good tank (?) to start
-Good coil material
-Frequency in his is recommended to change the coils and cotton

Also I'm in sort of a budget, so I don't know if that helps.

I want to start dripping mainly because I am looking to improve my flavor experience, not necessarily looking for the huge clouds (even thought I'm fine with having them), am I looking for the right thing here?

Enlighten me please

wait what the fuck why are your coils misaligned

They should be even in height, don't line up the post holes for each coil, one leg of a coil goes on top, the other on the bottom. Mirror it on the other side. Your airflow must be weird as fuck.

Maximum Stealth Vape by Wesley Crombletat - Sat, 14 Jan 2017 22:22:29 EST ID:Nz9y9cS8 No.3238 Ignore Report Reply Quick Reply

Hey /vape/,

I'm likely buying an entire vape kit this Monday, and I want to make it maximum stealth so I can smoke in empty places in campus instead of having to walk about 3 kilometers outside campus to smoke.

So far my plans are to get:

  • a Kayfun atomizer (not sure which, being honest)
  • iStick Pico
  • A PG flavor that doesn't produce a lot of vapor or smell, but that has a good taste

I still want to get a huge buzz from the nicotine but I want it to be decently compact, that doesn't make a huge "pop" noise and keep the vapor to a minimum, though, so I'm not sure exactly what I should get that still doesn't sacrifice the taste and doesn't smell much.

Thx in advance

I'm sorry to have to be the one to tell you this but your whole entire post here is dumb.

You may be able to get a mod that does not "pop" when you fire it But Tbh the noise isn't very loud to others and if your mod has any air holes at all it will make noise as you enhale.

Secondly iirc max pg is for people that want BIGGER vape clouds.

Thirdly the only way to get a juice with no smell is something with no flavor, and the only way to get "little to no vapor" is to either not hit the vape hard at all or, idk, not vape. All juices are going to make vapor, the bigger the cloud is based off of how big your unit is esentialy and how much vapor it is pushing at one time when you enhale.

But here is a little protip for you, something I wish all you readers on /vape/ would learn: BIGGER UNITS = MORE VAPOR = MORE NICOTINE PER HIT. If you want to get that head rush it's easier to blow big clouds than to vape a 24mg nic level, which is going to be super harsh on your throat.

I usually get some 3mg nic juice and get a good warm burn going on my sub ohm RDA... after a couple minutes of blowing clouds I get a nice body buzz going, similar to caffeine. If I'm using .6% i get a really cool burn going so it's not harsh on the throat and just keep puffing. After too much I get a weird anxiety though so I like to either take breaks or blend in some no nic.

its more subtle than a cigarette though cause with cigs you are taking in a bunch of other stuff in addition to nicotine.

As a smoker who's been trying to quit, I've been trying to figure out how to get that head rush. I vape 6 mg liquid, and I never really got it on any of my old devices, but I recently bought a 75 watt unit, and it actually does it for me. I think vaporizing a larger volume of liquid in each hit is important.

It's simple. High wattage vape that produces a lot of vapor requires less nicotine. If you're using a device that is weaker just up the nic to 18mg or something and you'll still get a good rush.
I prefer high wattage with lots of vapor and airflow so I don't have to suck on the thing for ages but you can still get a kick out of lower tier shit.

This is pretty much what it is. Ever since I started vaping on a bigger box/tank combo I get more nicotine per hit, even just vaping on an 8 or 12 mg nic level.

I also get more of a head buzz if I've been drinking.

Looking for vape with least amount of UNIT smell in USE. MFLB? by Jenny Bardhall - Fri, 06 Jan 2017 09:01:54 EST ID:Rr5mz3V0 No.3219 Ignore Report Reply Quick Reply

Is it the MFLB or is there another?

I need to vape in a very small room with a window open and my exhaled vapor going through a smokebuddy jr. Thus I just need to kill the scent eminating from the unit itself because the vapor is taken care of with the combo forementioned. Should I get a really long piece of tubing and just hang a vaporizer out my window crack down the building (first floor) and suck on it lol? Very disapproving parents and one has the smell of a dog.

You're fucked OP. Try to sneak out when you smoke/vape or wait until they go to bed, Find someone's house to make edibles in. Look up recipes like brownies or tinctures/green dragon. If you're in a legal state just buy it. (In case you don't know, don't try to make edibles, your kitchen will reek of weed for hours.)

That all said, if you _really_ want to vape inside, the MFLB is the sneakiest I've tried. The vapor path is so short that there's nowhere for the smell to condense onto. Blow it out the window even without a nice sploof and you'll probably be okay. Other vapes I've tried like the Pax 2 are great but REEK in comparison. Any vape is better than any form of smoking though.

Is Arizer EQ a good desktop vape? I like my Arizer Air, but I don't really find myself needing a portable vape cause I'm usually doing it at my place with a few friends anyway. Passing around a portable vape that gets hot and needs batteries doesn't really work with 4 people.

They're all quality vapes, but they're all very styles. You need to think about how you want to use your vape, then the choice should be obvious.

Volcanoes are great for groups, but I find the bags inconvenient for solo use. The VapeXhale is going to give you the thickest rips, but can be a pain to pass around more than two or three people.

As for the portables, they're both good, but the mighty is significantly larger. How important is stealth to you?

ELEAF ELEAF ELEAF

I've used both and the eleaf is a billion times better. Kanger shit leaked on me constantly, coils would be done in 2 days.

The eleaf tank (Melo 2) hasn't leaked on me once, even when I've forgotten to close the airholes before filling. You also have a lot more coil options, since the coils from like 4-5 companies work with the tank

iStick 50w + Subtank mini combo has been working for me for about 2 years. This combo is what got me off cigs. I'm on my second iStick, but getting a year out of a $35 battery is okay with me. Still on original subtank, on original seals and glass. I go through about a coil a week, and vape about 20ml of max vg thug juice per day. The only time I get unusual leaks is with the ceramic coils, otherwise leaks start after about a week on the clapton coils.

I've not felt the need to upgrade, but I am thinking about stepping up to the iPower 80w + Uwell SE1 combo.

I have a 50 watt Kanger mini-C and 75 watt Eleaf Pico. Stock tanks on both. The Kanger tank leaks even when I fill it correctly, and the cap is a bitch to get off because it stays on by friction rather than being threaded. The Kanger got me back on cigarettes, and the Eleaf got me back off. That's probably partly a matter of wattage though. The Melo 3 tank has great flavor and vapor either way.

Not really, you don't need much power for concentrates. Don't buy any name brand pens or atomizers. They're virtually the same quality as the generic Chinese ones, and most of the time were made in the same factory. Look for a quartz dual coil oil globe, should be around $10-15. For a battery go to a vape shop and pick up something cheap like an iStick.

I just got an istick power nano with a ceramic tank, what wattage do you think I should do?
this is my first time getting into this, I've read to stay between 4-7 something but I find at8-10 is where I get the best hits, because lower than that it doesn't get hot enough fast enough I guess.
Am I wasting my wax because I feel like every hit should be hard hitting like any other dab, even though I am vaping.
I've gotten a few really great hits out of it that really got me good but idk what I'm doing.
My box goes from 1-40 watts, voltage seems to adjust with watts.
has temperature control modes but those are for coils made out of specific material not including ceramic.

I doubt any of the coils for your tank can be temp controlled.

I wouldn't worry about your wattage too much. There's a lot of variance with these atomizers. You're not cranking it up to anything crazy, just go with what works for you.

You should experiment with turning down the power a bit though and see if you still get as high. Most of these atomizer aren't going to hit anything like a real rig. Turning them up may make them seem like they are hitting harder, but it mostly due to the hotter air burning your throat more.

Now I haven't used my vape on any concentrates yet but I do have something I can say about your comment.

When I vape if you begin to inhale quickly after you begin to hit your setup you can avoid the vapor getting hot and burning your throat. Reults; longer hits bigger clouds. That being said I would think you would want to put your wattage up as high as possible for concentrates to get the actual burn required for dabs.

I don't know the info but I would assume you could literally take the temp it takes to vaporize a dab in a dab rig and cal ulatewhat voltage it is that leads to an equivalent heat then extrapolate the wattage based of that voltage. Or ofc go temp controlled =p
