i have a kangertech topbox mini pro.
it came w 3 coils: stainless steel, nickel, and titanium.
whats the difference between all of them?
how long should a coil last until you should change it?
mine goes up to 75w, i keep it in the 40-60 range.

Depending on your juice and how much you vape, anywhere between a week to a month-ish. You can use any of those coils on standard vw mode, and if your box has settings for temperature control (make sure it matches the metal the coil is made of) you can run it that way.

Pretty much what Matilda said, except I've had some coils burn out in days,

Currently I use a smok tank with an octo coil, if I don't let the juice level get low so the coil can't reabsorb juice quickly and the coil fires dry my coil will last well over a month.

The difference in coil metals is used only for temp control box mods. Your kangertech doesn't even have voltage settings iirc but has the standard wattage settings so you pretty much will use the steel coils only

Casually smoking 8ths in a Source Orb 3

For the casual shatter smoker:
This is for Source Orb 3 & 4 vape pens with the purchase of Single Coil Quartz Atomizers.
Take 2 to 3g of wax concentrate a month.
Roll each g as needed into a reasonable line, with parchment paper, apx 2 inches long.
Cut the g equally into 8 pieces by cutting halve, then cutting the halves and again halving all halves.
Place one 8th into the pen and casually smoke it for 2 days.

Recap. Minimum 2g wax cut into 8ths, smoke 1 8th every 2 days = 1g is 16 days = 2g min a month.

You're welcome for the moderation technique.

If you want to go the RDA route I've also seen people using ceramic or quartz "wicks" for their hash builds. I haven't tried this myself. but it seems to work fairly well.

No, it's not normal. It's a concentrate vapor pen.
I'm sure you understood the process I explained about cutting it up. So I will explain the part about using, loading, and smoking the pen. Again, this is related to the Source Vapes: Source Orb 3 pen. You can get the newer Source Orb 4 too, though again I recommend the Single Coil for making your 8th last longer. I have not tested the SO4, only the SO3.

Get your parchment paper full of 8ths from the freezer.
Pick up one 8th and place it into the atomizer gently push it down nicely onto the top of the single coil inside so it is only touching the coil. Do NOT force it down or pack it into the atomizer. When you press the button the coil will melt it down all on it's own.
Prime the wax by pressing the button for a few seconds a couple of times until the
concentrate melts down around the single coil.
At this point, you can place the top onto your pen and you are now ready to start smoking.
At a casual rate, I find my 8th lasts me 2 days. Then I repeate the process, get another 8th from the freezer and drop it in. These single coil atomizers will last 6-8 weeks.

https://www.sourcevapes.com/products/source-orb-quartz-atomizers-coil-less?variant=3581623427

I am interested in the SO4 with a Coil-less atomizer to see if I can produce the same moderation.

I got 26g kanthal. I want a coil setup that's good for a long inhale and big clouds on exhale.

Currently sticking to 4/5 wraps on an average sized computer screwdriver. But it's burning out about 60W and doesn't seem to last too long.

Any advice?

The whole point of parallels is to increase the surface area for the resistance, which in turn produces clouds at the expense of ramp up time.
Just like with espresso versus drip brew for coffee, you can go for weaker just fine. Strength isn't the whole point at all. It's about method. They both allow for more strength without ruining flavor, but weaker strength still holds better flavor anyway.

Seeing as OP was burning out at 4/5 standard wraps, only doubling the surface area for similar resistance is a good choice. Going for more wraps wouldn't solve a burning issue at all.
Though it's mostly wicking that causes burning in the first place.

But what I'm curious about is the "doesn't seem to last too long" part. Coils last practically forever as long as you torch and clean remains off when changing wicks. Dry hits or overheating flavors can ruin wicks easily, but shouldn't kill coils at all.

Best Strawberry Milk juices!

Hello everyone. I'm a Strawberry Milk fanatic...ever since I had my first taste I've been all about it. Therefore, in case you guys were interested in all the one's I've tried so far, I've started writing reviews on them.

If you guys have any other good suggestions, please let me know. I'm always down to try something new.

Suicide Bunny - Mother's Milk
Good. I can take it or leave it, but there are much better out there. It’s not that I don’t like it, but it has a weird taste to it, like I can taste the strawberry, but the other flavors in it just don’t taste how I’d expect an artificially flavored milk vape juice. The price for this seemed high for something not as good as it should have been.
3/10

Boosted - Boosted
I liked it more than some of the others. Nothing special. I do wish the strawberry was stronger, but if you like a strawberry milkshake with more milkshake than strawberry, this one is for you.
6/10

Giant Vapor - Mom's Milk
I can’t remember where I read it, but apparently this is a pretty spot on clone of Mother’s Milk by Suicide Bunny. I think it was a little better though!
5/10

Cuttwood - Unicorn Milk
It’s very good. It could be part of the hype about Cuttwood, but I certainly liked it. The price was high, and while worth it, it’s not something I would vape every day due to the price. There’s not much to say other than it’s strawberry milk, very balanced and simply tasty. Not too much sugar which seems to be a problem with most of these. Nicotine quality seemed good, some of the better I’d say, but again that’s probably why I had to pay $20 for a 30ml
10/10

Vapor In A Bottle - Strawberry Milk
This one is top tier, which surprised me because of how inexpensive it was. I didn’t expect much but was really happy I tried it, I almost didn’t because of the low price. The milk part tastes really authentic but there’s more to it than just strawberry and milk. I can taste the background notes of graham crackers, maybe some sort of cream, I can’t tell, but whatever it is, I like it. The strawberries are just as authentic tasting as everything else and are a perfect amount compared to the milk/cream. Balanced AF. Out of all of these not only was it on par (maybe better) with Cuttwood – Unicorn Milk, but it was less than half the price. The nicotine was just as high quality as well.
10/10

One Hit Wonder - The Milk Man
Sweetness overload. I don’t like it. The packaging was way cooler than the actual juice. It’s almost like if they just took the sweetener out it would taste ok, because I can taste a slight good flavor covered up by sweetener. Even if this juice wasn’t expensive as hell, I’d still never vape it again.
0/10

My guess is initial resistance is the resistance when the coil is cold. I don't know what vapes use for coils but the filament in a lightbulb increases resistance as it gets hotter. This allows the lightbulb to heat up quickly but reduce power as it gets to the right temperature.

.2 ohms just means .2 ohms. Ohms is the unit of measurement for resistance. So if you put 1 volt across a .2 ohm load you get 1/0.2 amps. So 5 amps. 5 amps * 1 volt = 5 watts.

George Closhshaw - Sun, 11 Dec 2016 17:28:09 EST DnYtz/gI No.3187 Reply
>>3186
Regulated mods generally regulate by watts instead. Throwing more volts at it as it gets hotter, making it even hotter. Or reducing watts as it reaches a goal resistance for temperature.

Mechs, bypass, and voltage modes don't do this.

Wesley Gummlemin - Mon, 19 Dec 2016 21:20:50 EST WMl2mps6 No.3197 Reply

That would be correct.

Temperature sensitive wires increase in resistance as they heat up. Temperature controlled mods use this change in resistance to determine the coil temp.

Ok guys, I've been vaping for three months now. My setup is a Wizmek RX200 and a VCST tank. I quit smoking and I'm vaping 0 nic juice, but I'm starting to get into cloud throwing. How can I set up my shit right now to get supersized clouds and maximum flavor? Call me a faggot if you want, but my smoking cessation tool became a hobby and I want to get stupid with it. Blowing big ass clouds is fun but keep in mind you will likely get a bit of shit when doing so in public (not saying it's justified, but that tends to be the way it is around where I am at least), it will fog the shit out of whatever indoor space you probably use it in (which isn't necessarily bad, although it can be detrimental to computers and such from the residue left overtime), and I'd say try to have a way to go back to more modest amounts if you don't like it after a while.

As far as a nice atty, if you can build and know ohms law and practice the safety rules in terms of vaping, an RDA is probably the best bet, although there are some really nice sub ohm tanks out there as well. I've heard good thing about the Goon RDA, but more than that I cannot really say. I'd advise you to check out youtube and some other reviews on a variety of rdas and read up on building in general if you haven't gotten into that already. If you still want to deal with prebuilt coils I'd say the Cloud Beast (although I heard some people had issues, it's still regarded as pretty nice) and maybe some other sub-ohm tanks although I'm a bit behind with the latest & greatest (I remember the Uwell Crown 1 getting great reviews, Herakles, Arctic, & Starre Freemax tanks being the hot new things, some newer than others, last I looked into new tanks).
>>3136
How much volume are you talking? I've used Uwell Crowns, and even a few slightly older sub ohm tanks and they can fog a room up pretty quickly, of course with an RDA you have the option to make a wide variety of builds, more than I'm sure you can with the RBA deck for the crown.

I've heard good things about the TFV8 but also that it has some leak issues (I don't own one so I can't personally attest to this) but I heard it does live up to it's namesake. Coils, unless you do a rebuildable deck again are going to cost a bit in the long run, same with the Crown and most sub ohm tanks. Still cheaper than cigarettes though I feel.

I've been using an iTaste MVP 3 with a Nautilus mini for over a year I recon, and now I'm looking for an upgrade.
I don't know if I want to get into RBA's since at first glance it seems a bit too fiddly but I could be convinced if the payoff is worth it. I'd also like a tank that holds at least 3ml. In general, how often would I need to replace the coil of an RBA?

The MVP 3 only goes up to 30w so I might also need something a bit stronger. I use the 1.6ohm coils and run it at 13.5w which equals 5.3v.

Check out the Alien 220w by Smok for a reasonably priced, well functioning device. I had a long post written detailing the features but it closed and I lost it. Basically, it's affordable online, small size, updateable firmware, tons of information on the screen, & from what I've heard the biggest con is that some people experienced paint chips although I haven't had anything of the sort so far.

I'd avoid the newer IPV8 until they work out whatever bugs they may have with it as well as Kangertech products as they tend to IME be unreliable and a bit expensive for what they provide. SIgelei made some solid mods but they overstated the maximum wattage for the Fuchai 213's ( I think it caps out at 155w ), this kind of disappointed me since the 150w and 150w tc were great mods (still are imo). I heard some people had 510 issues with the Reuleaux but I think the newest models worked that out and I see so many people use it I can't in good conscious write it off as a bad mod, it was the one I chose between when buying the Alien, but the price of the Alien kit, the size, and fact that I don't see myself needing a 3x18650 mod is why I didn't get it (I'd still take one though, I can't knock it at all from what limited use I had with one). At the end of the day though it came down to money and size for me.

Check out some reviews and forums and see for yourself I guess is the best thing I can say. Both the RX200s & 2/3 are highly regarded as far as WIsmec mods and I have heard great things about the Alien as well (and my personal experience with it has been great so far).

As far as the cuboid I would wait to see what the new one is going to be like, as the old one had 510 issues and a few other one's I can't remember off hand although it is also a very popular mod (I'd say spend the extra 10$ or so and get an Alien over it, but that's just me).

Entry level vape for weed smoker

So, I've only smoked on a vaporizer twice I believe, once in really cool vape, owned by a friend of one of my friends and the other time it was a e-cigarette thing I bought at the nearby tobacco shop for something like 5 euros.
The last time was something like one year ago, now I'm interested in a Vape with only one purpose: smoking weed.
I would like to know which vaporizers are good for this purpose? I saw that it's important that it doesn't burn the weed and things like that.
I'm not really interested in ripping the fattest clouds and stuff like that, I'd only like to be able to smoke at home, work or university without having problems about the scent of burning cannabis or the social stigma related to it.
Do you have any suggestions for portable, dry herbs vaporizers?
I'm looking for the cheapest option, since I'll only use it for smoking weed, but I'd love to hear your suggestions.

I like my launch box but a lot of people find them finicky. I think you need a finishing grinder to really make it work. You just have to get used to the different feeling of vaping and after that smoking weed feelings like a waste. You get way more flavor out of herbal vaporizers and it lasts longer (you can make edibles from vaped weed too).
I have a Pax 2 which is less finicky (don't bother with the Pax 3, it doesn't offer that much over the 2), though it also works best with a very fine grind like from a finishing grinder, The Crafty is considered to be the best portable by a lot of people, and the Firefly 2 is also well liked. These are all high end, around $300, the MFLB with finishing grinder is ~$160. The Flowermate is alright I think, if you want something cheap (<$100).

In terms of stealth the launch box blows the other ones out of the water. I would not suggest the Pax 2 because it kind of makes the room smell for ~20 minutes, but even with that the smell doesn't stick to you like smoking at all. It sounds like an launch box is the best fit for you but that's just my opinion. The Grasshopper is another stealthy vaporizer (it just looks like a pen).

I just got an arizer air the other day and it's blown my mind holy shit this is the future of weed. Not only does it get you high af, it's also super efficient and you can use abv to get high AGAIN.

I've never tried any other vapes though so take it with a grain of salt.

How/when did you find your "go-to" ejuice or ADV?

When did you find your old standby? That juice you always have on hand because you never get tired of it. I think I went through about 5 flavors before finding mine. It's Pudding by The Milkman. I never get tired of this juice and when I can't decide on what flavor to try next, or I need a break from certain kinds of flavors, I go back to this one.

It's kind of crazy, since the first bottle of this juice I bought smelled and tasted FOUL. But on the advice of some people I didn't chuck it, and let it sit for about 5 weeks. Decided to give it a whiff one day and it was PERFECT. It's also sold at a local shop so I never have to worry about online orders and getting it in the mail on time.

I never get tired of this flavor and now that I've been into this for a few months, I find it's really convenient to have a flavor on standby that I know I won't get tired of.

MBV is complete trash compared to VapeWild. Not to mention I think they may still be using bluecheck. Anyone who demands any part of my social security number to get 10ml of ejuice can eat a dick.

Just my opinion as someone who went to MBV first then tried VapeWild when I was disappointed. Hawk Sauce is great though, I'll give them that.

I'm right with you actually. I mainly order from VapeWild these days, but I put up with the blue check shit just for my delicious syrupy french toast juice.

My local vape shop has a facebook page and they usually post new juices that they'll be carrying regularly and they happened to start carrying pic related and I love donuts so i figured I'd check it out and after the first exhale I was hooked. I ALWAYS have a bottle close by and if i run out or am close to running out I go right up the road and get another bottle.
