I stayed away from vaping because I never cared about nicotine, and the "culture" is not something anyone wants to be involved with. Only later I found out you can have flavored liquids, so I bought a couple of disposable e-cigs, and tried them out.

Boy was I disappointed. The flavor is weak and lasts no time at all. Is this just a shit product (pic related) or is that representative of flavored vaping?

DIY over the counter juice in Romania

Been in and out of Romania for work this year and of all the places i have been it is the cheapest for over the counter DIY juice.
I was in a city called cluj where nic, 120 base, and 2 flavours cost 22 euros and the flavours where really good. Recently bought from a city called Satu Mare, flavours where a bit over the top, way too sweet but for the same amount of kit was 17 euro.

Basically because noone can afford premium juice it is all about the DIY so you can get it for a reasonable price over the counter, no long waits for order ins over the internets. I am curious to see if other eastern europe countries will be the same

Getting into the vape scene and am attempting to build, read up on ohms law but still need helps, I have a Dot mod, Sapor V2 RDA, Samsung green 25r, all that said I have the coils set up with 24g 7 wrap reading at .13 ohms is that cool to slap on?

Going through too much juice and money?

So a few weeks ago I copped the Innokin Cool Fire 4 Plus with the iSub G tank included running on 0.5 ohm coils.

I really love the setup but I've been going through juice fast. I've been buying Element juice (80% PG, 3mg) and going through maybe 50ml a week which is like £25 a week.

This tank can be used with 1 ohm and 2 ohm coils, would reducing the resistance reduce the amount of juice I go through?

If so what kind of juice should I buy? Stick with high PG juices? Increase to 6mg to compensate?

Thanks

Ended up buying a Nautilus X tank to use daily and with cheaper juices. I'll keep the sub-ohm and premium juice vaping for special occasions.

I found some guy in a bar at the weekend who makes his own juice and he gave me a freebie, but really didn't like the taste and tossed it.

Honestly mate, D.I.Y or fuckin DIE.

50 ml a week will cost you a 5er or less.

Basically, all other science, is just bullshit on this one.

It's simple.

Look up recipes online. Buy from various UK vape flavour suppliers. Mix like a litre at once. Boom. Sorted. Wait a few weeks for the steep.

I go through silly amounts - upto 30ml a day I guess. Don't even notice, don't even worry about the costs.

I think 3 litres was about £120 all in.

Ive owned the Arizer Solo for 3 years and the Extreme Q for about 3 months and they are both fantastic products with great build quality.

Arizer is a North American (Canadian) company and they have higher standards than most so I would think its a well made portable. Ive only heard that its battery is not as long lasting as the Solo, but thats a given, given the weight and size diff.

Vaping melatonin is no more harmful than vaping any other tryptamine. And, well, it's melatonin. Best safety profile you'll ever get for anything you'd vape, really. I'd be more worried about downregulation and fucking up your circadian rhythm with prolonged sessions than any sort of physical health effects.

>Best safety profile you'll ever get for anything you'd vape, really
Propylene glycol aside, yeah. It's kind of hard to beat its history of safety in that aspect.

I only feel, stressing the word feel, that melatonin is unsafe because it's so different when vaporized than just about any other route. I've taken 100mg orally and sublingually without any such effects out of curiosity. Even DMT without a MAOI will give a small related effect.
Sure, it could be just flooding the brain with it too quickly to break down and actually working some way, since melatonin is metabolized multiple ways, but it could also be breaking down into something else with the heat and I don't know what exactly. That makes it kind of scary.

As for downregulation and fucking up sleep/eating cycles, I've done far worse with other drugs. The body is amazingly good at healing that with time and fuel. So that's not too worrying honestly.

"Vaping is cheaper than smoking"

File: 1474162363772.jpg -(416472B / 406.71KB, 847x567) Thumbnail displayed, click image for full size. "Vaping is cheaper than smoking"
I often hear one of benefits of vaping over smoking is that vaping is significantly cheaper than smoking cigarettes. I smoked cigarettes for five years, and switched to vaping about a year and a half ago. I love vaping, and only have the cigs every once in a blue moon.

There are a ton of reasons I prefer vaping over smoking. You can experience a functionally limitless array of delicious flavors, don't reek of stale cigarettes all the time, I can get away with satisfying my endless hunger for nicotine almost anywhere, at any time, (as long as I'm careful), I get a lot more hugs/physical contact from members of the opposite sex, my lungs thank me every morning, the list goes on and on.

But vaping is cheaper than smoking? No way. Not a chance. I have never experienced this. I actually pay a good deal more money vaping than I did smoking. I'm not counting potential money from hospital bills (lung cancer). I am just examining the day to day cost of vaping vs. smoking. My calculations of the cost of vaping puts me almost double of the cost I used to spend on cigarettes every day.

I vape fairly heavily. Many days I vape ~7ml of juice a day. Some days I vape only about 3ml a day, but I would say most days are upwards of 5ml. Which I don't think is an obscene amount, right?

The cost of liquid from my preferred local vapor store (also among the cheaper stores in my area):

100ml of Max VG liquid - $60
(Applying a 10% discount I often am able to get with coupons/store points/being friends with the employees - $54 for the 100ml)
(applying tax) - About $59 for the 100ml
Then 7ml of liquid = ~$3.54

Comparing that to cigarettes... I used to smoke between 7 and 10 Camel Lights a day. A pack of cigs in my state costs about $5 (I live in tobacco country). Often it would cost about $4.50 but I'll round up to $5 to better illustrate my point.
At $5 a pack, 10 cigarettes costs $2.50.

I'm not going to count the cost of coils, or the hardware of the vape itself, anything like that, again, to illustrate my point.

We're looking at $2.50/day for cigarettes, and $3.54/day for e-liquid. And I rounded up several times the cost of cigarettes/day for me. A more accurate figure would be less than that, like $2, maybe even slightly less.

So what gives? I'm buying liquid from one of the cheaper chains in my area, and buying in one of the bulkier sizes. But the cost of vaping is almost double that of cigarettes. Does anyone actually spend less money on vaping than cigarettes? I just don't see how it's possible.

There's no way I want to go back to cigarettes. I just want to know if anyone honestly spends less on vaping than smoking. It would only make sense to me if they lived in New York or something, where cigarettes cost $15 USD a pack.

Vaping has been way cheaper for me in the long run. The initial investment was like $80 for the box, the tank, and the stuff for making coils, and a 30mL bottle of juice costs $15 at my local vape shop and lasts me over a week. Compare that with smoking a pack a day, which costed me about $50 a week.

There are plenty of companies that offer fantastic juice at extremely cheap prices. Where are you buying your juice, and from what companies?

Also, a lot of companies do ridiculous sales all the time. Om Vapors is doing a 70% off sale right now. 70% off everything in the store. Plus if you spend over a certain amount you get 30 mL for under a buck.

Then there are other companies that sell 120 mL for $30.

Ur probably doing something wrong.

If you buy that shit that runs $20 for 30mL, yea, "vaping is cheaper than smoking" is 100% bullshit. Vaping would literally be 10x more expensive than smoking if I still bought from the local stores here, I vape around 15-20mL a day.
All you have to do is find a budget vendor you like though. I've been using VapeWild for the last year. Big Bottle Company is good too. Elitists on the Internet and in brick&mortars will have you believe that ejuice can't be good unless it costs more than your car, but I'd give these budget juices a 7/10 compared to the premium juice's 8/10. You can always DIY too but fuck that as far as I'm concerned, way too much time and effort involved.

So I've been vaping a little over a month now. I have an iStick Pico and Melo 3 tank, and vape between 40-45w usually. The problem I'm having is that my coils will only taste good for like 2 days, and it'll start quickly decreasing in taste up to about 6 days at most when it just starts tasting burnt up. Besides turning it down or vaping less, is there a way I can prolong the life of my coils? Or should I just get an RDA setup and just rebuild whenever I feel like it?

Well, i figured it out. Vaping a lot and switching juices is the culprit. I got a cleito tank and only running one flavor in it, and its holding up well. My old tank is reserved for these two very similar custard flavors. Everything else i have im probably not gonna touch unless out of desperation lol,

Yes it does. Pico and its Melo 3 both support nickel just fine.
Personally I'd say to go for SS316L though. Stainless steel works great even without TC on. Seems a ton safer than nickel or titanium in that aspect.

If you're into prebuilt atomizer heads, there's some fancy SS NotchCoil thing for it which looks to have quite the surface area and only 0.25ohm resistance.
But it really does make sense to get into RBA setups instead, for cost if nothing else.
