Vaporizer for non-smoker

Heya there.

I want to consume marijuana with a non-smoker who has problems inhaling from a spliff or bong. Now I've been thinking - how harsh are the vapors from a vaporizer if inhaled? Which ones, besides the magic flight box (If that's even the case anymore) are recommended by you guys?

Pardon the silly question I've with no doubt asked years ago already but have forgotten the answer to, I'd really appreciate the help, though.

Already posted this in /weed/ but was directed here.

I posted in the thread below just a second ago, but it depends on what your activities planned for the vape are.

Theres plenty better than MFLB, but most of them don't come with a lifetime warranty.
I just got a summit by Vapium and its a nice easy one piece unit that is easily my favorite portable if you keep a USB charging block with you as well.
my brick is 5600 mah and I got about 6 full charged out of it in the day with the vape taking an hour to drain and an hour to charge. Using it while charging is pretty good too.

Harshness depends on the temperature set. Some people will not vape under 210 degrees C, some people choke shit if its anything above 190.

The grasshopper is another good new vape thats got lifetime warranty and pass through charging, but they take a good while to get delivered.

The most commonly whispered vape I know of though is the Arizer Solo and its new brother the Arizer Air are both good glass on glass vapes.

The pax is a common favorite, and is one of the smallest, non-vape lookin vape.

If you have the cash, and you want the best guaranteed, invest in a Crafty or a Mighty, those are top of the line units that perform as good as your best desktop vapes. Made by the same Krauts who made the Volcano.

I have magic flight box. I am person with sensitive airways and chronic throat infections. It works good, but you whats the problem with it? If you vape it slightly, vape would be not harsh, but it wouldnt get you much high. But if you vape it to the yellow (i mean color of your weed), you would get high for sure, but the vape would be harsh as fuck. However, i suppose that you are much fortunate that i am, and live in US and have a credit card. You can order with launch box some special tube that can allow the launch box be connected to a bong. If you manage to do that, than no vape would be harsh for you.

I've smoked with a bong, spoon, and a mighty.

For me, small hits from the bong with a huge ash catcher and filled with piping hot water are the nicest but I struggle to be able to only take small hits. Similar deal with my spoon, if I take baby hits I can get through a sesh with no irritation. The key thing here is its a lot of work and ruins my high to focus so hard on no irriation.

I bought the mighty day before yesterday and my experience is I can fill it and take incredible hits at 190c, and then at the end of the bowl I set it to 200c and then finally 210c. At 190c I can take massive hits with no irritation. 200c it starts to get a little dry and then 210c is usually just a few huge hits and they always dry me out like a motherfucker BUT unlike the pain with combustion it goes away damn near instantly, especially if I take a sip of a drink

I'm looking into vaporizing all kinds of substances in e-liquid, and of course want to know at what settings a vape will heat the e-liquid to a temperature where said substance will evaporate.

Is there an easy formula for that, or do I have to grab a laser thermometer and play scientist? Is a simple VV geo vaporizer thingie good enough for that?

I smoke marijuana, I have no money. Can I use my Mom's cream/butter artifical flavors for baking to mix juice? They have diacetyl, and some other shit I can't pronounce. Will I die if I throw the artificial butter/cream flavor in my vg/pg?
Fuck Pickforth - Sat, 28 May 2016 20:34:38 EST WMl2mps6 No.2542 Reply
Diacetyl is most likely bad for you, but people vape it anyway. I'll leave it up to you to google the potential risks and decide if its worth it.

That being said, they should be fine to vape otherwise.

What is the best vape pen for concentrates? Money isn't a huge issue, but I don't want to spend a lot extra for marginally better performance, and I want something that could pass as an ecig. I know fuckall about ecigs / vape pens but I know I want one that can vape shatter. I do not want to have to buy preloaded cartridges or make vegetable glycerin mixtures, just straight concentrates. Also don't want to have to load it with every hit.

Just ordered one of these bad boys (pic related). Anyone else have it? The quick release magnet feature looks bad ass. It was between this, the stok r2, and the orb, which can do both dry herb and concentrates, but is way less low key and I need to keep it discreet. My friend has an r2 and it's a quality piece.I have a set of micro g pens but it seems like the coils burn out really quickly.

Will post again when it arrives and I break it in.

If you haven't heard of this stuff, it's basically a flavor changing juice that supposedly can have up to 100+ flavor combinations.

I did a ton of digging around and basically no one knows how it works without everything just blending together. Apparently it's a different flavor every time. Vendor claims that it's 70/30 vg/pg. There was also a sale crazy and I was able to obtain 120ml for $10.

Now here's the problem. There's a lot of hype and good reviews about this juice floating around. When I got mine, I also was told that it should be allowed to steep, so indeed I let it steep for about 2 weeks. It changed from a clear liquid to a yellowish.

It barely ever changes flavors. Mostly just a skittles, to a very occasional grape or strawberry. Other than that, it's been a very big let down.

Should I let it steep longer? Has anyone else tried this stuff with success?

Hey guys, I was looking to get into vaping and was wondering if there is a SINGLE god damn UNFLAVORED organic vegetable glycerin nicotine containing vape juice out there.
To be clear I'm wondering if such a thing even exists, because it doesn't seem like it.
Honestly the weird flavorings ruin vaping for me, and maybe it's cause I've only tried my friends and they use shit with propylene glycol or something but in concept something that only containts a low amount of nicotine and organic vegetable glycerin sounds perfect to me. And apparently people vape VG straight up (I wouldn't know why) so I would imagine it's out there.

I'm sure you guys get threads like t his all the time but thanks anyway and sorry if I'm breaking any board rules, I'm usually only in /weed/ every now and then. Also if anyone has any reccomendations for vape mods/vape mod brands (is that how you say it? the modifiable vapes?) it'd be much appreciated.

Anybody here make your own juice? It's cheaper, you have complete control over the flavor and the manufacturing process, and you feel like a wizard alchemist. And when I say cheaper - I mean a lot cheaper. Like a quarter of a liter of juice for $10 cheap.

Anyway, I'm going to shamelessly plug www.entropyvapor.com and pass on a 10% coupon “Discount10” to you fine fellows at /vape/.

I'll also leave a couple recipes here for anyone who brews their own juice or wants to get into it.

Nana-nana Cream-cream
Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP) - 3%
Graham Cracker (Clear) (TFA) - 1%
Banana Cream (LA) - 5%
Cream Fresh (FA)- 2%
Toasted Marshmallow (TFA) - 1%

Mother's Milk (clone)
Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP) - 7%
Vanilla Swirl (TPA) - 2%
Sweet Strawberry (CAP) - 5%
Dragonfruit (TFA) - 0.5%
Orange Cream (TFA) - 0.2%
Pear (FA) - 0.2%
Sucralose - 1 drop per 10mL

That Nana cream looks really nice! Gonna have to give it a try. Though I have to pick up Cream Fresh, it's used in a lot of recipes I've been meaning to try.

I just started DIYing a couple months back, it's been really exciting and so far I've managed to come up with a few really good mixes, much better IMO than the ones available where I live. And yes, in the long haul you do save a lot of money, but you do have to invest some money to build an inventory of flavours suited to your needs.

I'm a huge fan of dessert type flavours, here's a couple recipes I've been working on:

Strawberry Shortcake
TPA Cheesecake (Graham Crust) –4%
TPA Strawberries & Cream – 3%
INW (Inawera) Shisha Strawberry - 3%
TPA Strawberry (Ripe) – 2%
CAP Vanilla Bean Ice Cream – 2%

Berry Yogurt
TPA Blackcurrant – 5%
TPA Greek Yogurt – 4%
TPA Blueberry Wild – 4%
Molinberry Palm Coconut 2% (TPA Coconut Extra would work too, just lower the %)
CAP Vanilla Bean Ice Cream – 1%

What is more dangerous to throat/lungs:
a usual bong or a crappy vaporizer?
Im worried that i've been using my shitty vaporizer in a wrong way for the year, part of my weed gets overheated most of the time and it leads to partial combustion. So if i understand correctly, with crappy vaporizer some chemicals are being released like monoxide carbon and benzene.
It must be lesser portion of them than with bong, where combustion happens in full scale. But bong has water and, theoretically, it filters some of these chemicals.
Right now i cant buy better vaporizer than mine. Should i get back to a bong for some time? How dangerous it was to using a crappy vaporizer and overhead weed for a year? Should i be worried about my health?

But its my 4th day of t-break and i still occasionally have mild cough (like 5-10 times a day or so). Do you think i might had some serious damage because of combusting weed with this vape? I'll go to doctor next week, but its a long process of checking up. Meanwhile i would like to try my new launch box and im worried.

I haven't read other replies or even the OP, but quickly coming by to drop a line about how shitty that vape is. I bought it thinking it would be at least decent, no it was the worst investment ever. Not like it was even expensive, but fuck it barely even worked. The batteries it comes with are a joke, they will give you 3 minutes of barely usable heat and the rest is absolute shit. The charger is a piece of shit too.

Don't get this.

Looking at getting a new vaporizer, what's everyone's pick at the moment?

I have owned and tried two other vaporizers before, a magic flight box knock off ('da kube') and a Volcano.

The magic flight box was not bad for a few uses but after a while i found the draws weren't big enough and I was barely getting high. Battery life became a problem too, I got tired of recharging them. I did enjoy the stealth aspect of it though and went for an upgrade to the Volcano. MFB was a good intro I think.

The Volcano purchase came about as money isn't really a big deal to me - I have a full time job that pays well and not many expensive hobbies. Weed became my biggest hobby, so I thought I may as well splash out and enjoy it. I was very impressed with it, and it lived up to its reviews. I do think it is probably overpriced for most people, and replacing the bags after a while was a hassle. It's also not the best for social situations with the crinkling of the bags, but I found it better for my occasional smoker friends who couldn't take bong hits. The adjustable dial was also great. Don't want to get too high? Set a lower temperature. And the opposite of course which was the norm. I should add I had the Classic model and not the digital display one.

Last time I was reading about vapes here I think it was the Airizer Solo or the Arizer Extreme Q that was favoured by most. I'm not too sure if I want a portable or a table vape. I would rather avoid bags this time around and go with a whip or glass stem. Not interested in using it for nicotine or concentrates

My first vape was an MFLB. A friend from out of town brought one during a visit and I had to get one after that. I loved the MFLB and used it really often for about a year, then I put it away in it's box and didn't get it back out again. Went back to smoking after that.

Some time later a different friend let me try his original PAX for awhile. I was super impressed. I would totally buy another PAX if I found one for cheap.

Currently I've got the PAX 2. It's awesome. It's the perfect size for portability which is very important for me as I'm always on the go and want to be able to vape whenever the mood hits.

It has a great hit for a portable vape, so much better than the MFLB ever could be. The oven is the perfect size for me. One full oven and I'm at the exact point I want to be, although a lot of people want less than a full over and they make accessories to assist with that.

Cleaning is simple. I clean very often because I like the way it hits when it's super clean. Takes me 6 minutes to do a quick clean and I do that twice a week. Once a month I try to do a deep clean that takes about 15 minutes to get the unit looking completely spotless.

The device is so simple to use, it only has one button. Can show a friend how to use it with a real quick explanation and a quick demonstration of the draw technique.

If you are use to desktop vapes or really getting just a ton of vapor, the pax 2 might not be the best vape for you. I'd say it hits at about 50% of a lot of the desktop vapes I've tried.
Phoebe Fanwell - Sun, 22 May 2016 07:44:40 EST Rht22Msx No.2504 Reply

Pax 2 is great, had one for almost a month and am pleased with the ease of use and ease of cleaning.

It does lack the huge clouds but the size kinda makes up for it, I like to take it to the woods.

First vape was the arizer v-tower (which I bought by mistake instead of the extreme-q) and it was pretty shitty. I've heard good things about the Extreme Q but the v-tower was terrible and almost turned me off vaping completely.

If money doesnt matter too much, splurge on a verdamper deluxe.

When it comes to inhaling weed, you just cant beat the style or taste of 100% glass filled with water.
Or if you dont like the style, just get the heating element or any other vape adapter plus a high quality bong.

Literally everything else is subpar if you already have a volcano.
