...yes, it should work with the right build, aiming for higher resistance with higher-gauge wire, and you probably won't get as much power from those boxes as you do with the hades. what's your build? also if it's actually the 30mm/28.5mm rda, it's gonna be bonkers top-heavy on either of those two ego-threaded boxes.

why can't you answer your own question here if you're handling a mech-dripper setup? lol are you the same guy who got called out on your 26650 mech setup back when vape shit was quarantined to /smoke/ ?

Gonna go to vape store and get my Sigelei 150W a new tank. Was thinking of turning this thing into a vape for wax. Whats the process on that? I don't know much and wouldn't know how to ask the employees (one is a decent friend where I'm going). Shit I'm reading says to get an RDA and then use ceramic coils and to apply the dab on there and hit it like I just dripped. Is this right?
>>
Alice Nonningfuck - Mon, 16 May 2016 12:50:50 EST 6kJKS1HH No.2473 Reply
There's a lot of methods to dab with an e-cig. My preferred method at one time was to use a dual coil set-up in an RDA, nothing fancy, just 7 wraps of 24 gauge kanthal around a 3mm bit. Then I would wick with cotton like I was going to use it for e-juice, and drip 0mg e-liquid, get it good and soaked, then vape on it until it starts to dry the wick again. At this point, you're ready for your concentrate, just apply it to the coils, I usually take a standard sized dab, and split it between coils (or you could just run a single coil set-up). And then lightly tap the fire button, and melt it in gently, till its barely smoking (try not to let it smoke, ya don't wanna waste it). Then put the top cap back on, and hit it. You'll get more reclaim with this than other methods, like it condenses on the inside of the top cap, and the bottom of the juice well... Now, there's much better methods out there these days, like using ceramic wick, and there's ways of using stainless steel mesh as wick for the coil. My current method is a stovetop coil made from 22 or 24 gauge kanthal, with a metal pipe screen wrapped tightly around it, so it doesn't short with the deck of the RDA, and I run it on super low wattage (like 30-40, you could go even lower). I use it on a Hannya postless RDA, and it works great, it's basically an e-nail. I just take off the top cap, make sure the coil is cool, then smear it with dabs, pop on the topcap, and toke away! Usuall 1-2 good hits is what I can get from that. If you use my first method with the cotton wick, you can get 3-4 hits, if you put more e-liquid on top after the first couple hits. There's tons of guides and youtube videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qetJiugIzOU

And here's another link or two. This is a similar method to mine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aji2ZrbrZPs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdCUxQjymxc

If you can afford it, this is one of, if not the best cartomizers on the market today. It can hold a gram of concentrate, and you don't need to change the coils.
https://www.w9tech.com/cartridges/hercules-oil-cartridge/

There's also the option of making an e-liquid with some concentrate dissolved in it, so you just use it like any normal juice, you can drip it, or put it in a tank.

Grenco Science(G-pen)

Gentlemen Vapes:while the materials used to build Gentlemen's carts seems on point, they have a MASSIVELY high failure rate from what I've heard.

Some new ones that will be coming out soon that might be worth checking out are.

In a bid to find a decent alternative to smoking the one or two cigs I have a month I decided to buy the MVP 3.0 Pro. After a week or two the tank just leaks. I've set it up correctly and I had this exact problem with the MVP 2.0 Too.

I just want something that will fit on my MVP 3.0 and not leak. Also looking for UK CBD e-liuid vendors.

cheers lads

On a side note, if you screw tanks too tight, they leak. You have to let the rubber do its work.

I have a suggestion, I won a Innokin iSub V in a giveaway recently, and it's the best damn tank I've ever used, no leaking whatsoever, and it uses all of Innokins iSub coils, which there's tons of choices, all temp control metals, standard coils, and claptons. It has a top fill, which has only leaked once, because I over filled it by a touch. The top fill system has a spring loaded chimney, which closes off the juice flow holes when you take the top off, then the holes open back when you put the top back on. And it's less messy to swap coils on this too. Just check out a Youtube video on it. As for it fitting, I believe it's 22 mm, it's small for a tank, only holds 3 ml. I have a Fuchai, and am using the SS coils on wattage mode, I keep it on about 35 Watts, the flavor and draw are phenomenal on this tank. I just have yet to get some titanium coils for it.....

So I've had an eleaf 50w battery setup for a while now. I've been curious because it can go up to 50 watts, obviously. But why? I've never gone above 3.7v/8.7w

From my understanding the higher you jack up the power the quicker its going to torch your coils, cotton, and juice. Especially if you decrease the resistance of the coil?

Can somebody explain to me why you'd want 200 watts for a 0.2ohm coil? That seems completely ass backwards.

200w is great to use when you have an actual mod that can use any sub-ohm tanks, hash head, ect.
No one vaping a Snow Wolf of anything like that is going to turn itup to 200w to smoke a regular vaping head, but rather to have the option to attach different heads.

I bought the Joyetech Cubis and I really liked the 0.5 Ohm coil because it was easy to hit and produced nice clouds.

On the opposite the 1 and 1.5 Ohm coils feel as if the air flow was blocked by something. Not a lot of smoke and very little taste.
I wanted to know if anyone experiences the same problem and if I could just open the coil, take out the tiny metal plate and hope it will be easier to hit?

Vaping Stigmas Outside the US

I have to start off and say this might be blog post-y but I'll try my best to not let it be, and I'm sorry if it ends up being that way. Alright so...

Does anyone else feel uncomfortable vaping in public in countries/cities where vaping isn't well-known? I'm from the States, but I'm on an exchange program, studying at a city in The Netherlands. When I vape in public, people straight up STARE. I hate it. I have anxiety disorders, and it makes me feel terrible to be stared at by strangers.

In the States, when I was vaping in public places, only occasionally would I get stares from people. It was usually from older folks who (I guess?) had never seen someone vaporizing, and didn't know wtf you were doing. It was rare, though, and most often it would happen in smaller towns, where trends and outsider culture scenes were a few years behind the times. In moderately populated cities or in big cities, it's very very rare for anyone to look at you. Nobody cared, everyone had seen vaping before many many times, you were not a curiosity or a freak. You are just any other other person.

I would hazard a guess to say, in a town/city in the US of at least 60k people, if people are outside smoking, 1 in every 10 will be vaping. Pretty much all young people at the least will know what vaping is. They won't stare at you.

In the Netherlands, if 100 people are oustide smoking, 1 person will be vaporizing. I'd say less than that, even. Young people, old people, all people, stare when someone is vaping in public. People will just unashamedly stare. They'll turn their heads as they walk past. It's not like I'm vaping massive clouds, which would be attention seeking behavior. It would make sense to get stares then. I'm not doing that. I purposefully try to produce as little vapor as possible to keep a low profile. I take 1.5 second (or less) drags and hold it in. No joke, I've had people my age (early 20s), standing less than 20 meters from me, asking each other "WHAT is she doing?!" "what is that? "why is there so much smoke?" " and say "wow, look at her!" and then if one person knows what vaping is, they have a conversation about what vaping is while I'm standing right there, as if I can't hear them, like I'm a science experiment. Wtf am I supposed to do?? Go up to them and say "hi"? Give them a prepared speech on what vaping is? That's the last thing I ever want to do. I try to ignore them.

I fucking hate it. I just want to be able to get my nicotine without feeling like I'm an insect on display in a glass jar in a laboratory. I've taken up walking far away away from the university, to alleys or other places where people can't see me while I get my fix. I've considered switching back to cigarettes so I don't get any more people fucking staring at me. Does anyone know this feeling? I know you are supposed to not care what people think. That's one thing. But dealing with people staring at you, every time I step outside, that's something else. it drives me insane. What should I do?

I probably sound crazy, like I'm a delusional paranoid nutcase for caring that people stare. But it's not just in the Netherlands. And admittedly, in Amsterdam, vaping is fairly common so there's few stares there. But in other parts of Europe, I've noticed the same stigma in smaller towns in Italy and certain cities in the Czech Republic. In Germany and in Austria, I didn't get stares, it was basically like the US.

How do you guys deal with it? Does anyone have any advice what to do? Please help me.

A % of school kids have been forever stealing their parent's cigarettes or getting a jump in. From like 10/11 there were kids in school trying it out and by 16 there were daily smokers and a always a few known hiding places for a smoke break during school hours.

Ultimately would rather these susceptible kids, who would smoke regardless, vaped 18mg all day everyday.

Thing is I reckon they just switch to cigs anyways, the embedded rebellion/cool factor just isn't there with a vape.

Not having a go at you, just felt like adding to the subject. Looking back on my time in school, it was weird. I started smoking cigs at 17 to condition my lungs into smoking spliffs. Lmao @ that logic amirite...

Cleaning is pretty easy so it's expected you do it often. Just soak a pipe cleaner with some iso, then rinse thoroughly. The more you do it the easier it'll be. I suggest doing it while your charge your device.

Some devices are easier to clean than others, and how badly a unit needs a cleaning varies greatly. For example, the launch box is very easy t

oops, sorry about that

*For example, the launch box is very easy to clean but it's expected that you do a small level of cleaning (just brushing out the trench with an included small brush) every time you load it. Other units, like the Pax 2, do better with regular cleanings but can go a long time without them.

It really depends on your unit OP but most require pretty regular cleaning. I clean my Pax every two or three weeks and my Launch Box (which is my daily driver) once every 3 months or so, because it doesn't really need to be cleaned ever (cleaning in this case is for aesthetics, keeping the trench from getting too dark). I suggest searching for stuff about cleaning on the Fuck Combustion threads.

Fun fact: it's not a portable but from what I've read the Volcano requires no cleaning at all, and users say they don't clean it for years and it works and looks like new!
