>> | There's a lot of methods to dab with an e-cig. My preferred method at one time was to use a dual coil set-up in an RDA, nothing fancy, just 7 wraps of 24 gauge kanthal around a 3mm bit. Then I would wick with cotton like I was going to use it for e-juice, and drip 0mg e-liquid, get it good and soaked, then vape on it until it starts to dry the wick again. At this point, you're ready for your concentrate, just apply it to the coils, I usually take a standard sized dab, and split it between coils (or you could just run a single coil set-up). And then lightly tap the fire button, and melt it in gently, till its barely smoking (try not to let it smoke, ya don't wanna waste it). Then put the top cap back on, and hit it. You'll get more reclaim with this than other methods, like it condenses on the inside of the top cap, and the bottom of the juice well... Now, there's much better methods out there these days, like using ceramic wick, and there's ways of using stainless steel mesh as wick for the coil. My current method is a stovetop coil made from 22 or 24 gauge kanthal, with a metal pipe screen wrapped tightly around it, so it doesn't short with the deck of the RDA, and I run it on super low wattage (like 30-40, you could go even lower). I use it on a Hannya postless RDA, and it works great, it's basically an e-nail. I just take off the top cap, make sure the coil is cool, then smear it with dabs, pop on the topcap, and toke away! Usuall 1-2 good hits is what I can get from that. If you use my first method with the cotton wick, you can get 3-4 hits, if you put more e-liquid on top after the first couple hits. There's tons of guides and youtube videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qetJiugIzOU
And here's another link or two. This is a similar method to mine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aji2ZrbrZPs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdCUxQjymxc
If you can afford it, this is one of, if not the best cartomizers on the market today. It can hold a gram of concentrate, and you don't need to change the coils. https://www.w9tech.com/cartridges/hercules-oil-cartridge/
There's also the option of making an e-liquid with some concentrate dissolved in it, so you just use it like any normal juice, you can drip it, or put it in a tank. |
