How can anyone say RDAs are better than tanks now?

Of course to clarify, if you're the gearhead type who somehow loves to tinker with and build shit I understand why you're still using an RDA but now that there are tanks like the TFV4 with any kind of coil you could want available, how can people still say RDAs are better? It baffles me because it's not like the ohms safely go lower than the coils, and the flavor is just as good if not better, so I ask you drippers of /vape/, why? Are you sad to see this aspect of vaping grow old and die? Have you not had a tank in so long you have no clue what's out there? I don't get it.

RDAs at home, tanks for on the go. Ive never gotten a hit that I like off a sub-ohm tank, and I hate the idea of constantly buying new heads for them, so I go the RDTA route. Just picked up an aromamizer a week ago and its a fuckin champ! At home I use my rda because I can fit bigger, more intricate coils on it and get a more satisfying hit

RDAs are for cloud chasers and enthusiasts. Tanks are for casuals and quitting smoking.

I love my UWell Crown, but I don't think I can go back to it after getting my Twisted Messes RDA. Helixed coils, man.

E-juice kit

Has anyone here bought an e-juice making kit and know a good place to order one?

I'm looking mostly for quantity I get paid monthly so I need enough juice to get me through the month and saving a few bucks would be cool too. Maybe even sell some to my buddies.

Don't buy a kit, they're overpriced. Just order the stuff you need individually. I'd start with a gallon of VG, a 120ml bottle of 100mg/ml nicotine, a 20ml syringe for measuring vg, a 2ml syringe for measuring nicotine, and a bunch of bottles. Unless you're following a recipe, I'd recommend buying a bunch of smaller bottles of flavor until you find one you like (for example LorAnn and TFA watermelon taste completely different). I'd get the nicotine from nudenicotine.com, everything else can be found on Amazon, although you can probably find better deals on flavors elsewhere.

Less smoke with low battery?

Is it just me or when my mod is low on battery much less smoke is produced than a full charge, even at the same wattage? Or am I just being a retard?
Using a IPV D2 btw

I'm fairly certain that's normal.

Iirc it's because your battery has a reduced charge, and therefore can't actually output the wattage you're setting it at, and simply produces as high/close to the setting as it can. Depending on how low your battery is, it can be only fairly off, or vastly different. Or something like that. I think...

I've heard that it's not good to let your batteries get particularly low anyhow, because it reduces their charge life somehow, so maybe just charge your batteries?

>Is it just me or when my mod is low on battery much less smoke is produced than a full charge
this is the case with mechanicals & unregulated but shouldn't be the case with a regulated device
your issue might be related to the ipv d2 not having stepdown in wattage mode
meaning that, with a low resistance coil, the d2 won't tune down the voltage available from the battery
e.g. running a 0.3Ω coil at 8W is not going to hit like 8W, which would most likely be nothing, but more like 0.3Ω on a mech
>>
Henry Lightdale - Mon, 22 Feb 2016 06:48:43 EST XY1S5JjT No.1975 Reply
sorry i should also add what you might do to resolve this matter
the d2 still does have step down, otherwise the TC would be impossible, but it just doesn't work in wattage mode and the display in wattage mode is wrong
i think there's some kinda hack where the mod can be set to run in TC mode with non-TC wire like kanthal and adjust joules as though it were wattage
for further info i recommend just search engine for "ipv d2 step down"

I'm from /weed/. First time here, so.. Hi there !
First, sorry for my bad English... Not my native language.

I have some questions about vaping... May I ask?
>yes
Thanks !

I smoke weed since 4 years, especially joints, but since few months I have bought a bong and smoke all day long from that shit.
Recently I had throat problems when I smoke from bong, So I would like to start vaping to reduce my consumption of weed ..! Problem is: I know nothing about vaping.

Now, my questions !
1- For a vap newbie, what's the best kit for a budget of ~$100 max...) ?
2- Any good websites/forums where I can learn basic shits about vaping ?
3- A "friend" of a friend can sell me a "PIONEER4YOU IPV2S 70w" + "Aspire Nautilus tank" for $45. Good or bad deal?
4- Can I had some BHO oil /// Tincture in the tank?
>And finally, last question:
5- I don't wanna vape nicotine, but I wanna know if they are any dangers and risks if I vape 0mg liquid ?

Hey guys, I have a little vial of this marijuana tincture around. I'm not exactly sure what the exact chemical makeup is, but it does seem to be alcohol based. I was wondering if I should try adding this to some e-juice in my mod (typical kanger/ sub tank).

Has it been done? Will I die?

> Apparently the vegetable glycerol is actually a pretty solid substance to absorb the THC from the weed.

1/3 maximum solubility compared to alcohol... personally would go for oil on an RDA myself. As for the smell you can water cure the weed first to remove the water solubles (the terpenes mostly but also some chlorophyll) to remove the smell, though the terpenes do modulate the high.

I'm brand new to dabbing as well as vape pen. I've only used bud and bong.

What's a good brand for vape pens (chamber + battery) to dab wax/shatter?
Should I go for high quality $70+ or like $50 since it will break anyway?

Hi I'm an anonymous user on a chan board and I keep hearing/reading/seeing (jk I don't see shit, which is why I resort to second-hand information later in this post) that vaping/dabbing oils and/or wax can cause skin layers to melt off and turn into giant, angry bears, this being that all the imbearities CANNOT be 100% eliminated and that MOST local dispensaries carry wax/oils that still contain a huuuge amount of imbearities. That said, some random anonymous person I know - and who know makes this post third-hand information for you - recently went to the local combination dermatologist/bear expert for itchy skin and an unusual attraction to bears at the zoo, after a few visits the doctor finally asked her if she vaped. She told the doctor what she does, in detail. (They dab wax with rig.) He told her all the beartions associated with dabbing and that this wasn't his first case. The doctor said that her diagnosis is becoming more common as more people dab more frequently.
SO- your lungs are the least of your worries. All of the people dabbing on this thread are going to be continuously attacked by bears in a few years.

I've been seeing more and more no vaping signs in more and more places usually private not public mind you and can't help but think it's because of obnoxious behavior rather than inducing any health threats to the general public.

I don't know about you guys but when I take my pen anywhere I make sure to blow huge clouds in anyone's faces.
Has anyone else seen these signs lately?

I haven't seen these posted at all. There's definitely no health risks for second hand vaping afaik, but I imagine that there are uninformed people out there that think so. And I mean, depending on whether it's inside or outside, I can understand.

If it's outside, then what the heck, but blowing fat clouds and making an indoor area look like England is obnoxious as hell. I put it in the same league as people that refuse to wear earbuds and blast music from their phone.

Just save up for like a month and buy a Pax. There is a transferable lifetime warranty, so even if it does decide to break, send it in and it's required to be fixed.

You're going to end up spending days on anything and you can just make the initial jump to save yourself and your girl a lot of hassle.
