Vape hurts throat

New to vaping,
just got a SMOK mag mod vape, and have been using CBD with it.
After about a week an a half my throat started hurting, I stopped vaping 3 or so days until throat felt better.I changed the coils just to be safe and after 2 days of vaping my throat hurts again!
What am i doing wrong ?
I'm taking 2.5 sec draws inhaling direct to lung with low watt settings
or is it the CBD oil ?

Ive only used cbd once, so im limited on information. I can tell you that when i could buy premade eliquid (in michigan, damned flavor ban) some brands hit harsher then others even if used at the same wattage. Not knowing anything about your device or where your powers set i would say this; turn it down until you notice slight spit back and work up until its a smooth hit. If you cant find a smooth hit, i would say its the oil or possibly your body just doesnt like it yo.
