What would you like out of it? I just found out 2K confirmed they were working on the next one all the way back in December. I just started replaying infinite after having the strange urge to revisit Columbia. I played through it once when it came out and never again which is why I say strange but I'm taking a much stronger liking to it this time. Columbia has a really wonderful air to it that I never really took the time to breath in because I think I was still angry about it not being in rapture the first time I played. I just loved rapture so much.
Where could they go after infinite?

What mods would you recommend?

Personally not sure if I will play Diablo 1 in the near future since PoE is stealing all my attention now,
but just out of curiosity!

The boss from Diablo 2 act 1 was actually meant to be included in Diablo 1 as a special quest boss. The quest never made it into the final version of the game, but thanks to the Belzebub mod the quest has been faithfully recreated.

faaaaawk u, diablo 1 always had the better atmosphere, characters and music. maybe I just have a soft spot for it too.

to the OP, I have a love/hate with the beezlebub mod. on one hand my ocd hates how the dungeon levels are reset everytime instead of classic diablo where your progress in the level is saved, and the amount of enemies can be kind of cheap (entering level 11 and like 30 lightning lizard bitches are on top of me, as I try to spam potion and spells, the game didnt like me cheesing by leaving and reentering the level, so it crashes, blegh). on the other hand theres so many quality of life improvements to make up for it, as well as a crazy amount of cut content. like, I’m amazed I ever played the original. all in all if youre a fan of this kind of game I couldn’t recommend jf enough.

And thats before all the publicity. I wonder what Steam will do about it, cause on the one hand they cant argue with profit, but on the other hand its probably awkward to be selling games that are kind of legally available for free. What do you guys think?

Well, if you played original P4 on PS2 or the P4G on PSvita then you might already know what kind of game it is.
The PC version is good, it's smooth and have a nice optimization sso that you can run it even on a old PC without any problem, there's also an option to change the language between English and Japanese.
You can also change the enemy difficulty to make them as hard as you can, basically the PC version is currently the Ultimate version of Persona 4, and those who never played Persona 4 Gold because they didn't had a Vita is a nice chance to try the game.

There's a pretty simple way to decide on whether you should play Persona or not. Are you a weeb that enjoys jrpgs? If yes, get the game. If you aren't, then avoid the game.

If you don't like anime shit or jrpg shit, then this game isn't gonna change your mind on any of that.

I mean you clearly lean more CRPG which is fine, so do I. As far as JRPGs there are very few that raise up to this level. While I still think P3 had a better story these games are on the same tier as Skies of Arcadia or Lunar. You either hate this type of thing or love it. This is a 'best in class' example so if you hate it you probably just hate JRPG conceits in general.

I had never heard of Persona 13 years ago, saw P3 on the shelf soon after release and bought it because it had the best cover art I'd ever seen from a vidya game. You just 'know' if you like this type of game or not.

>Medal Of Honor

Game still holds up to this day. I love everything about it. The gameplay is a lot of fun, and surprisingly fair and intense even with a controller. The enemies got a lot of life in them, Shooting each part of their body makes them respond in a different way. Its always difficult to execute an enemy, even if he happens to be a Nazi. They don't beg for their lives, they're far in too much pain for that. But I waited them out and they do try to shoot you again once they gather their strength so I didn't show them any mercy anymore.

It has a very nice balance to it. The very first missions is just you running and gunning down enemies, getting used to the controls. But then it gets you into a more demanding stuff, and a little bit more into the story. Walking around, showing Germans you Paperz is fun, even today. This game did a lot of small things that makes you wish games today had. This game outclasses most shooters today. I don't think it's freaking nostalgia, this is the first time I play this game. I'm gonna spend the rest of the day asking people to show me their papers. Makes me feel like young again.

"Ich Nein!"

Seriously though, the more I dig in the past the more I hate EA. That company is fucking cancer

I agree so much. Allied Assault was so much better than any other WW2 Shooter. Just feels so good. The game doesn't take control away from you every 5 minutes, gunplay and leveldesign are fun.

I found Blade of Agony pretty much scratches that itch (although the dumb platforming in mission "grabräuber" is total bullshit!)

I completely forgot about the shotgunners. They take so much time aiming at me and I'm usually moving so fast they never get a chance to hit me. They also don't move all that much so they're easy to headshot.
Are you talking about the brown robed cultists in Blood because they're not the only hit scanners in the game. You also get the black robed ones with they're machineguns.

No, I'm talking about the brown robed cultists in Ion Fury. The hitscanners in Ion Fury they take time to aim and they have a chance of missing, so kind of the opposite of blood.

those cyborg cultists aren't hitscanners. They actually shoot a projectiles, about four or five of them. If you side step just before you get shoot, you can see them. If you're constantly trying to dodge their shots, it's like you're dodging bullets. Enemies like the chain gunner in Doom or the cultists in Blood are actual hitscanners, maybe sometimes they miss but their shots aren't projectiles.

I think it's just a case of the game looking/running/performing better than it did/does on the Playstation 3 & Playstation 4. And maybe some temporarily exclusive content. Just like when they released the PS4/PC/XB1 version of it (which was literally only about one year after it had originally came out for PS3 & 360 btw lol).

I enjoy it much more than PoE. PoE is extremely hard to get into as a newcomer, with the myriads of content patches and weird (lack of) currency system with infinite incremental skill tree.

Grim Dawn is like Titan Quest which is in the vein of Diablo 2, but deeper and more fun.
