Last night when I was playing a bit of animal crossing. Do you guys not have fun when you play video games or something?

Also dipped back into Squad a couple days ago and as always had no actual clue what the fuck I was doing. Still felt nice playing medic, shooting a couple of Ruskis and stabilizing and healing like a dozen of people.

This is the only screenshot I took that entire time, I was just totally engrossed at the time and forgot that I could take screenshots. Man, Squad's fun when you get a decent squad.

I really enjoyed some chivalry yesterday. Quitting cigs so was angry and out on my big headphones blasting dubstep running around cutting off heads was very satisfying.

At one point it was so perfect I jumped off a ledge doing an overhead swing with a polearm, landed directly on the guys head as the song dropped it was awesome.

I should pick up Mordhau supposedly it's better but I love me some chivalry. Just for fucking around.

Meh. Once I found something that I like as much or more than videogames, I kinda distanced myself from them. But not on purpose, it just kinda happened. It was so significant that now there're lots of games that give me motion sickness, something that NEVER happened before.

I had fun playing a lot of games as of late. The most recent is RE2 Remake and the HD classic. I love the easter eggs and just the over gameplay. Still scares once in a while. Sometimes I play my Wii U and play Mario 64 and F Zero. Dracula X and Mario World. If dont find games fun, then you must be going through something and I can relate. At one point I didnt play videogames from 2011 to 2017. I was really focus on other thing is and going through some stuff.

It's rad and it is nice to be able to play on OG hardware and have it not look like complete ass with this digital adapter. I'm lucky that I didn't sell off some of my favorite games and the actual system as a dumb kid, but I do regret selling Fire Emblem and Luigi's Mansion and never picking up some other core staples like Sunshine and Thousand Year Door.

Welp at least I have the Gameboy player, Eternal Darkness and Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. I'm not a collector at all and have slowly been trying to downsize the amount of unnecessary possessions, but I'm pretty close to having a Gamecube library I'm totally happy with.

Last night, Among Us.
Yellow and I see Green and Red run off together, I dip and stalk them from a distance and killed Green as Red was doing a task.
Then I cut the power and ran off Blue and White came up and found the body.

Yellow calls out that they went off together, and accuses Red, Red says Green was right there, Blue killed him and is self reporting, and demands they both get voted off.

They do, and White says Blue couldn't have been the imposter, Yellow must have been trying to trick everyone by calling this out, and demands they both get voted off.

The other imposter gets d/c'd, but this repeated until there were two crew left, yelling at each other and the ghosts.

I fucking love that game dude. Just make sure you bring a few guns to the final fight because you'll need them. That was the only part of that game I disliked.

That's dissapointing. I'm not bothering with weapons so far because most enemies take a real beating and most weapons break after like 10 hits.

I already got Kiwami 1 and 2 lined up, not sure if the collection of 3,4, 5 is worth it because those aren't proper remakes.

3/4/5 are HD Remasters while the Kiwamis are remakes from the ground up.

But if you like the story, its worth it, since 3 is when they went full Yakuza as we know it.

You only need the guns during the finale because there are some big rooms with guys with guns all far away and spread out. It's a pain in the ass to reach them because you lose a thirdof your health bar and fall over every time you get shot, and there's also a crowd of dudes who will kick the shit out of you.

But if you bring guns, you can just shoot the guys with the guns and go back to beating the shit out of everyone else. Then it goes back to being fun not frustrating. You'll know it when you get to it.

Honestly, sometimes I dont know if im having fun or not. I just cant stop playing certain games. Doom is definitly one of those expereiences that I just cant explain. I'm in the same boat but I so enjoy challenging Doom maps. Currently I am playing the Doom 2 forgotten levels and some of them are ridiculous with the switches. Like way too cryptic. Funnily enough my wife bought me a Xbox one and the games that I've been playing are all the old school ones that I had in my 360 as well as Doom 1 2 and 3 as well as Duke Nukem 3d.
I've also been enjoying replaying RDR 1. Great game.
I've started GTA 5 and while it is fun I feel like all the previous ones had more depth to them even though 5 has so much to do and has 3 playable characters.dont get me wrong, it is really cool and the graphics are great but I really prefer the driving of 4. I must be one of the few people who does.

Can anyone recommend some good old school platforming games that are available on the XBOX 1 STORE? why does the store seem so crappy and terribly over priced especially for AAA games

>Doom 2 Forgotten Levels

Oh yeah fuck those levels. I tried to play them just to say I did but honestly. they gave me a headache. There are just way better maps out there now. I dont bother with them.

My major malfunction is that I dont know how to quit. Like once Im on this path, I cant just give up and go play something else. Im stuck right now, trying to finish Eviternity on Pistol start UV no save scum, and I was doing really good for a while. I got to episode 3, and I've been stuck here for three weeks now. I must've died over 20 times in Frimore map. And the issue is, I cant go play some other wad. I'l be too frustrated with myself to focus, knowing that I failed to clear my previous challenge. I wasnt having fun playing it, but I need to play through it otherwise I cant play games anymore. It's pure enthusiasm. I dont know what to do with myself. I still have Cities Skylines to just relax a bit away from it all but I have to go back and clear the wad.

>I really prefer the driving of 4

Not at all. GTA5 grossed a lot of money but a lot of GTA fans, especially the oldfags, prefer 4 over 5. 5 blow up like nothing before, and people love to watch streams of it and treat it like fucking second life or some other shit but it was not our game man. I would be totally ok with it if the end game content was better you know. Like, let me do repetitive missions and save enough money to buy bigger houses and business in single player. Nah they dont want that, you do grind in multiplayer like everyone else or pay for ingame cash.

Thats Rockstars AI in a nutshell.

For what ever reason weapon accuracy stat is skewed a shit ton for npcs. Its a bigger issue in GTA online where they really let npcs blind fire behind cover and manager to snipe you out of a heli from a block away with a pistol.
Turns out fucking around in the director mode reveals any gun with an internal accuracy stat of 80% or more gets multiplies by two, meaning every shot will hit if you are not behind cover no matter what.
Stop and pop is the only way to beat them, or use cover and a sniper to aim at a limb exposed.

There's actually a mod for GTAV and RDR2 to reduce AI accuracy, makes the game much more fun imo. But this situaton is one particular AI that is especially accurate. You're supposed to move from cover to cover and get close enough to him, I think firing from afar gets you killed immediately.

Worth noting is that mission has been known to bug out and make the enemy invulnerable, might've just needed a reboot. It really shouldn't be taking 25 attempts, cheats are really not necessary.

The only time I tried acid was out in the woods. Gotta try it sometimes

Meth makes me decent at FPS but you always run the risk of being overwhelmed. Games like Overwatch are too color happy and it used to overwhelm me, my eyes starts to roll and I hyperventilate. Played Doom on it, but after a long meth binge of constantly shooting demons, you run the risk of having a mental freak out seeing demons around corners. Its not so bad if its a wad you're familiar with, but its something new, and trap heavy, its too stressful.

I spent the first week of ever playing ESO thinking the game was just insanely difficult because I didn't know how to use potions in-combat and didn't realize my class had healing spells.

Ketamine. ESP for open world games, not K-hole levels but it's truly a vivid experience, esp with games like RDRII

No I got past him & everything, rockstar has a feature where if you die enough times you can just skip it (I did within two deaths the first time) I was high af though & assumed if I played it sober I could beat him, so when I was 25 or so tries in like I was playing Ninja Gaiden II on hard or some shit I was like christ wtf

No I haven't fucked around with cheats yet in that game, I like it better without them still I probably will in the future. I'm only just getting back into gaming honestly

Didn't know this board was still alive & well, g2k

Not sure there is difficulty I don't think, and yeah I'm sure you can beat him with the time stop thing but I swear to christ I hit him 20 times with one of the rare snipers a long with several other different weapons & he seemed to take no damage at all

i think cheating in games is okay. I see it more like I'm fixing the game, doing the dev's job for them. I even submit an invoice after I'm done cheating because it is hard work.

Ya. I don't have issues with cheats. I imput cheats everytime I play quake on n64 & wouldn't play a lot of old games like halo ce without all the mods which are a lot like cheats. I remember setting the clock ahead in fable II so I could buy out all the real estate in the game. Only time I don't is online hacks against other players

Chinese people believe that it's okay to use cheats to win at online video games against other players. It's a cultural thing. They believe that if any tool exists to give you an edge, then you're foolish or not smart to not use. The western concepts of sportsmanship and skill based on what a player can do within the confines of the game do not make sense to them.

Chinese people understand sportsmanship. They hack the game because everyone else is doing it and also they know how to do such things. It's the same wkth me, I only play certain games with cheats on because other people are already cheating and playing vanilla actually makes the game less fun.

I don't think Russkis are that bad on multiplayer. American teenagers can be some of the worst as well with all the mic screaming and shit.

You can make sweeping generalizations about Americans too if you want. But really, it all depends on the game you're playing. You'll get trash talkers on call of duty, but all the chill people are playing better games.
I dont understand how some people think "western" concepts of Sportsmanship exists only in their culture, when every year there is a scandal about an American football or European soccer team cheating in one way or another and getting away with it. Every competitive scene has its cheaters, It's just the way it is.

Some of my best friends are russkies. No seriously, raiding in WoW with those guys was always a lot of fun.

The only reason you complain is because you're too stupid to figure out how to hack the game and play at their level. Quit being stupid and learn to use the computer idiot.

Meh. Games have rules & competition makes it fun not "winning" & that's not a concept I'll budge on "bc China says so"

If I'm playing chess & someone just knocks over the king with their hand at the beginning tf is the point, same for Go

This. Holy fuck. I remember playing GTA5 once while someone was hacking and it was fun as hell. Basically, we all had to get to a car or inside of a building or else we get flung into the air and killed. Yeah the guy was an asshole, yeah it got in the way of people playing the actual quests in the game, but it brought some interesting experiences with it.
The first time I ever died in GTA5O was because of a hacker minutes after I downloaded the game.
The only time I don't like them is when they're point farming. A lot of hackers are just bored and do what they do for fun and if you're doing a race they will fuck with you but then fail to win because they don't need the stats. The point farmers will destroy you in every game and those guys aren't fun at all.

Moe Chronicle really cracked me the fuck up, if you like the ridiculous pervy anime shit you'll love it. However it just recently didn't give me any hint where to go or what to do (after you get the purify fabric), I'm assuming I need to... use it somehow? I figured the last dungeon but couldn't figure it out. Switched to P4G. Even if I never play it again it was worth the hours of laughs I got

I dont get why you would quit at this point. you're in the last dungeon, just finish it. Look up a guide or something.
I think I'm gonna pick it up. I really enjoyed Mary Skelter and have not really had enough of Compile heart dungeons.

Only if it will negatively impact the experience like lets say playing Morrowind for the first time with a guide. Pretty sure I explained myself back then too.
Compile heart dungeon crawlers are stupidly linear until end game. Banned Guy probably missed a line in the dialogue that explained where to go next, and will be lost without having to go back to a previous save. There is no need for that, just look up what to do next and go do it.

Yakuza 5. Finished it for the first time recently. Might actually be my favorite Yakuza game, although I'd have to replay 0 and Kiwami to be sure. I thought the idol shit was going to be lame, but I actually enjoyed the rhythm minigames. Obviously not as much as just kicking ass, but they were still neat. The hunting minigame was unexpected and neat as well, albeit simple.

Currently doing kiwami 2 after playing 0 and kiwami. Kiwami 2 is the most racist, sexist one I've played so far. It's the worst in this one because it actually seeps into the gameplay, where they intentionally make the game less fun to try and make me hate the female and non-japanese characters. It's a real rollercoaster. Some of this game I love, and some of it I just want to toss into the sun. I am only here because I loved 0. 0 was consistently amazing.
