How does one smuggle weed into Greece for their vacation? How badly are you fucked if you get caught with say... 50 grams of weed in Greece as a tourist? I've heard some scary shit. I beckon you brothers, bestow thine knowledges upon me

Mostly I just go up to random people in the park that are smoking joints. Sooner or later someone will have a large bag with them, willing to sell you a few grams. If not, most people actually called their dealers for me - but that's not the best, you gotta wait around, etc, too much hassle. But it's always worth it to try. At the least they'll smoke you up with their current joint if you're not acting like an asshole.

I mean I've done it lots of times and it was always a positive experience. I'm also white and young and tend to ask the same type of people. It is the best method, because people in a park aren't there to rip kids off, they're just tryna smoke some weed with their friend. So the worst case scenario is they can't help you out but they won't just take your money and disappear into the club or something.

Another type of thing is hanging out at the bar, more like in front of it, around the smoking area... same story. Everywhere in the Western world, people always have weed, man. Everyone smokes it. Greece, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, it doesn't matter, man. Weed is everywhere outside of like Japan or Korea and shit like that. If you're in a first world country, chances are someone has weed in a 1 mile radius of you at any given time. You have money, so it shouldn't be too hard to get some from them right?

The most important thing is, you gotta observe people around you. Observe how they talk, what they look like, PROFILE everyone to your best knowledge before going up to them. This way, if you're any good with people, you can avoid getting ripped off. Don't go up to the first person that smokes like "hey man can you hook a brotha up". Choose the most trustworthy-looking guy you can find in the area. Only go up to people you wouldn't mind smoking with at home. Try to be nice, but have presence, don't act lost.

Honestly man, the park method always works the best for me. Always try to score in daylight.
Just find people chilling with some weed. That's your best bet. It's always better than asking someone drugged out their minds at a party or something. That's the way to get ripped off.

AVOI Turkish and Arab-looking types. They are everywhere in the world, and everywhere they are, they live off of ripping of tourists! This is really true. If you're travelling the world, always avoid the Turks and Arabs. They're very good at business, but business for them means ripping people off, so thats bad for you. I'm not saying all of them are like this, but in a situation like that, you are easy to rip off, so you better take caution.

I have only been ripped off once, and it was by a Turk in a shop run by Arabs. He gave me Spice instead of weed (at weed price). Ditched it in the river. That's when I learnt this one.

>TL;DR: Honestly man, common sense. And think twice before approaching people. Always try to score in daylight and try to avoid middle easterns, afro americans, and nightclubs.

this strategy has worked for me in several us states and several other countries:

>go to bar, sit near bathroom
>when people walking by to use bathroom, ask politely, "hey are you from here?"
>if yes, ask if they can help you get weed

be respectful and discreet. it works

2011 Chevy Aveo 5 LT sputters so much that:

It took me 17 starts (and eventually boosts) to get my car running after a 1 month hiatus in middle of a Newfoundland winter. After she warms up she's ok, but if I stop at a red light or stop sign for more than 15-20 seconds I have to put it in neutral and give her gas so she doesn't stall out. Even giving her gas on a few occasions has given no response from how far I open the throttle and she still stalls. Is it my spark plugs or an O2 sensor or carbon buildup or what?

I'm traveling to Malta, Kosovo and Albania this summer and was wondering if there are any nice drugs sold over the counter? I know that in Thailand you can buy Benzodiazepines like xanax without prescription, is there something alike in these countries?

Also, general OTC drugs thread, other countries are intressting as well.

I just got a new job and I'm back to making some decent money. I dont have to pay rent at the moment and earn about $2400 a month or so. I own a 8th generation honda accord with 75k miles that is paid off but needs repairs (about $1.5-2k total inc labor). I could prob sell it as is for $4k.

Now I'm debating on keeping it and risking the reliability of it running for another few years without major repairs or going out and buying another used car with low miles for $15k or under.

What would you do? Its obviously cheaper per month to just keep my current car but if a major repair is needed it will outweigh any of that. If I get another car, thats easily another $350 a month extra I have to spend.

repairing a car is cheaper than buying a new one and hondas are relatively good cars

dont make big purchases right after getting a new job because you aren't secure in you're position yet and if life happens and you're out of a job or have to leave you won't be saddled with a car payment. Save your munny

hi guys,
need some advice, im planning on moving to canada
i have lived in a couple of countries before and i feel the biggest mistake i made was not investing in a van/mobile home right away because when hostels and stuff fell through.

i have looked at second hand stealth campers. my budget is about 3-5k i have no idea what too look out for or what could be a problem getting parts for and have made the mistake before

i dont even know how european license works in canada

any help appreciated thanks

post pics of your van your thinking of getting.

If your buying a second hand vehicle to use for a short while you will be ok. Like maybe 1-2 years tops. Other wise it starts costing more in repairs than the vehicle is worth.
If you really want to buy a vehicle that will last you much longer I think your gonna have to up your van budget at least to 9-10k min.
In canada you're gonna need tag and tittle and probably some sort of emissions tests and saftey inspection.
Then you need insurance.

Ive always thought a vehicle was more trouble than it was worth while traveling unless you have a good income to keep your vehicle fed and paid for.

You'll be on an international driver's license until you can get it ported over to a provincial license.

People are pussies about the cold.

Most habitable vehicles by an american manufacturer are easy to get parts for. The asian carmakers don't sell lots of suitable vehicles here, so just ignore that for the most part.

you have friends here or something? the government doesn't like people with no fixed address, you're expected to have at least a paper address as a new immigrant. if you get citizenship (easily bought) you can basically do as you wish.

This is my first car and my mom gave it to me, the dealership wants me to trade it in for a newer one, but everyone tells me dont go for another Ford because they are like the McDonalds of car world. They are the first manufacturer but not the best.
This will be my first inquiry into cars, and could start me on really educating myself.

What about Ford makes you Not Want to have one? What do other car brands offer and can I trade a ford in to other dealerships or am I only allowed to trade in the dealership I got this one from?

This, OP. Battery swaps are ridiculously easy. Just walk your old battery into an auto parts retailer. They offer free battery disposal usually so that's a plus, AND they will show you which battery will fit your car. I did pay like $100 for a spankin' new one but it was worth it.

Honestly if your current car is WORKABLE you should watch YouTube videos about how to fix it up. I watched a LOT of ChrisFix vids when I was working on my last car. It's really quite easy to do regular maintenance on almost any car, provided you have the right tools. Get a hand me down socket set because that'll be your bread and butter. The only things I wouldn't personally try to upkeep are transmissions and engine blocks. Spark plugs, mufflers, batteries and the like are all basic fare for car maintenance.

As for brands, anything Toyota makes lasts FOREVER. Toyota is, to me, the ultimate consumer car company. Their stuff is built well enough to take a beating, and simply enough to be easily accessible for maintenance operations.

Sup /vroom/,

I am a simpleton from the Western US and I have only been to maybe 15 or so states, and only 4 other countries. I have never been further east than Ohio, and I want to start visiting some places on the East Coast both to experience the different side of American culture as well as see some tourist sights, eat some good food, and see historical locations. I recently toured up and down the West Coast and feel I should set my sights on the other coast now. I have never been to New York so I figured I might as well start with NYC, then maybe check out Boston next year or something.

I'm planning to go in early December for ~4 days, a Wed night or Thurs through Sunday. I know this will be a cold time of year, but I live in AZ and cold and snow are like a wonderful adventure for me. I've been in sub zero temps in Minnesota before so I know to layer clothes and stuff.

Anyway, for a complete bumbling retard tourist, any tips on visiting the Big Apple? Any must-see places or must-do experiences? Any shitty tourist trap things to avoid? Any little tips or advice I might not think to ask?

If you go upstate, check out Niagara falls because it's still summer. You could spend forever in NYC and not get bored, but be careful in the trappy places like Time's Square or the WTC or Statue because they're just going to overcharge and scam you if possible. You should go bar hopping in the village.

Will be coming to South East Asia soon, along the way I want to go somewhere where you can easily get a variety of drugs without repercussions. Is Cambodia a good choice? I know weed is easy to come by there, what about other stuff?

Have no experience with getting drugs in my own country or drug subculture in general, just want to try this to get more life experience and shit.

I leave extremely soon for Thailand. I'm going the Thailand (Bangkok)> Chiang Mai> Laos/Thai border river slow boat all the way down>Cambodia route.

I'll post some pictures and experiences here when I get there. I'm on suboxone so I wont be using hard drugs regularly, but I may be able to score a good morphine or methadone script. Even if I cant, I'll definitely try the opium/PPT in Laos while I'm there on the river.

Nodson's post was dead on about the drugs in the region. He forgot to mention you can get xanax, valium, tramadol, gabapentin, and viagra in nearly all the pharmacies in the region. Cambodia especially will likely have oxy/morphine/ketamine/tramadol/codeine all under the counter no script required, with some even selling morphine injectable ampules.
